I've worn Milly before and this one definitely fit smaller. Wish I could keep it. I loved it!!

It is short which was perfect for me as Im only 5"3". The bodice was long on me ,which tends to happen more often these days. I could have used alterations in that area. The shoulders needed to be taken up and the neck area taken in to fit me better. If you are taller or have wide shoulders that additional material will work better on your body. The fabric is thick and lays lovely . I didnt wear a bra as the ruffles and thick fabric cover alot. I wore cute gray patterned in black tights with short black boots. My event was less dressy.

Wonderful little black dress with details that can easily take it from day to night/cocktail attire. Wore with madewells collarless longline blazer during the work day and ditched it for drinks at night. I almost didn't want to return it, very well made!

Wore this dress to a casino night and it was such a fun choice! I got lots of compliments. It does run small, so size up so it will fit through the body. I did find that sizing up made the sleeves a little loose, but a quick fold and stitch (pulled out later with no damage) easily fixed that!

I'm 130 lbs, athletic, 5'1. I usually wear size 4. This was a little snug and short. Beautiful dress and cut. Will recommend one size up to be more comfortable at work.

I didn't wear this out of the store, sadly. I ordered my normal size but it was too narrow through the hips, then too loose up top. I was hoping it could be worn to a work event, but it showed off too much cleavage for me to be comfortable. It's definitely dressier in person.

I didn’t wear this dress but ordered it as a back up. It fits true to size although the neckline is much wider than what is pictured on the website. That wasn’t a issue for me, but if you have a lot of cleavage, then it might be. I would definitely order this again for another occasion.

Loved this dress! It fit slightly small and would have been perfect for a polished evening looks. It did feel a little too dressy to wear to work, though, which is what I rented this for.

I have owned Molly dresses in the past and new to size up a bit on this one if I wanted to wear it to work, so I probably could have gone with a 2 if I were wearing it to a wedding. The dress is adorable and was brand new when I received it! My only complaint is that it was a bit low cut for work!

I rented this dress to wear to work. It has a stretchy material but was still tight in the stomach area and was too short for me to wear to work. I am 5'3 so things aren't often that short on me. The model picture lead me to believe this was more flowy.

shorter than expected

I am almost always a size 4, 27 inch waist and 37 1/2 inch hips, I found this dress to be short and tight. It was still cute, just did not fit the way it did on the model, if I went up to the 6 the top would have been too large around my arms.

This dress was beautiful, but unfortunately did not fit well at all. I wear a 32A and tried a size 2 after reading reviews that the sizing ran large, but it was made for a much larger chest. It completely swallowed my upper torso and made me look like I had the chest of a little boy. I decided not to wear it after all, too bad.

Love the idea of this dress but it was ridiculously small. I have rented many other size 8 dresses that fit great. This runs so small that I almost got stuck in it.

I went up two sizes after reading reviews, to accommodate the fact that it may be tighter around the hips. the dress fit me like I was Beyonce getting ready to go on stage, but not appropriate for a friends holiday party.

it was so short and tight. I'm usually a 6 or a 4. I ordered a 6 and think I probably should have gotten a 10. it's also was way too short for work for me

I really liked this dress when it arrived, the fit looked very nice and the color was perfect… When it when I went to try it on it was definitely not true to size.
