LOVED this dress. It was classy, bright and so different from everyone else's dress for my friend's rehearsal dinner. Normally wear a 4 but it was pretty snug in the ribs/chest area (and I have small boobs) so I went with the 6. There's pleats at the waistline so in one of the pictures I'm bent over a little and it kind of pouches out. Standing up straight it looked fine though.

I really liked the color of this dress, more of a mustard than bright yellow as I expected from the photo shown. The fabric is heavy but it gives the dress structure which I liked. The length was similar to what is shown on the model in the photo. Would be perfect for a garden party or outdoor wedding! Highly recommend.

This dress is adorable on- I wore for my engagement party and loved it! The dress runs a little small in the chest so I had a hard time zipping the top up but once I did it fit like a glove. I'm a 34D so if your on the larger size I would recommend getting the size up from what you normally are.

Like the other reviews have said, the dress did run a little small, but the size up was perfect. The fabric seemed a little worn, but overall was great. I would definitely recommend this dress for summer events, especially those outside because in that light, the dress looks really good. I wore this dress to a horse race and it worked really well.

It was flattering on me and still gave me shape. It was a little tight on my thighs so I probably would've gone a size up, but I would for sure rent a Milly again.

Usually I wear a 2, but it was too tight in the butt. Size 4 fit perfectly. Surprisingly lightweight and fun to wear to a summer garden wedding!

I rented this dress for my wedding reception. I didn't know how long I was going to stay in my gown-- so wanted to have a dress to change into when we left the reception and went out for an after party.I rented size 2 and 4 and wore the 2. The dress has very thick material. It fits well in the stomach however around the bust neither size really fit me great. With the 2 I was afraid to pop-out and with the 4 I was afraid to fall out--- so in the end I opted for the 2 and it was okay. If you are not comfortable in strapless dresses this may not be the one for you.

Dress runs small, so I'm glad I got the size 6, even though I usually wear a 4. The fabric is nice and thick, and the dress has pockets (nice for carrying a credit card or ID). I don't usually wear yellow, but it was a yellow-themed event, so the dress worked out nicely overall.

I wore this dress to a wedding rehearsal dinner. The dress was great for the occasion and was very comfortable to wear. I got tons of compliments on it. The fabric was VERY thick, this dress might be too warm to wear on a hot summer day, but it was perfect for a cooler spring evening. I was very glad I ordered a back-up size, I usually wear a 0 but used the 2 in this dress - I couldn't even get the 0 to zip all the way up! But the 2 fit perfectly.

This dress what perfect for a rehearsal dinner for an outdoor wedding I attended. The material is heavy so it looks more expensive, and I love the pockets- very now! If you are not so busty, you may need to wear a padded bra to help fill out the top. ;)

This dress was sweet and appropriate for a summer wedding. I wore it in size 0 and it didn't hit too high above my knees, even though I'm on the shorter size (5'2"). I liked the canvas-like fabric. It had a nice weight and thickness; the make of the dress felt high-quality. The dress fit well in the chest and hip area (I'm about a 34"/35" at the widest point in those areas respectively), but it was a little wide in the waist (where I'm about 25"/26"). That said, it wasn't a bad fit, especially since the dress and the material are pretty forgiving. I'm just leaving the information out there in case it helps anyone who's trying to figure out whether Milly dresses fit their shape. Instead of the featured necklace, I wore it with a string of pearls.

The dress was pretty, but i didn't stand out in it. The yellow was not as bright as i expected and more of a mustard color. I have a larger rib cage, and even the 4 was pretty tight on me.

I really liked this dress, The A-line fit is incredibly flattering, and the color is great for a spring or summer gathering. The only thing about this dress that was a pleasant surprise was the fabric; it's not as soft as I had anticipated. The fabric has more of a rough texture to it, but the dress is lined so it's not scratchy. Either way, the nature of the material only adds to the character of the dress and I would definitely rent it again!

I rented this dress for an outside wedding. The zipper was a little difficult to zip but once zipped, the dress fit perfectly. The material was not too heavy and super comfortable to dance in! I highly recommend this rental!

It was more mustard then I thought it was going to be.

I wore this to carolina cup and the thinker material was great because it held up the whole day without wrinkling or looking worn. It ran a little small and I wore a size up.

It runs a little big so I went with the 4 instead of the 6 I normally wear. The fabric was thick.

Wore this to a country-chic wedding in the Berkshires and it was perfect. I paired it with a little bolero/shrug jacket and a super sparkly necklace. The fabric is much thicker and more textured than it looks in the pictures. I liked it, but beware, especially if renting for a super summery event. Per other reviewers, it definitely runs a bit small, especially in the bust -- I'm normally a 6 but wore an 8. My specific dress had some issues with the liner peeking out of the bottom of the dress, it was a little worn out.

The Milly dress ran unusually small. I'm normally between a 2 and a 4, but even the 4 was a little tighter than I would have liked. However, the 6 would have probably been too big.

Nice yellow color, a little more mustardy than in the picture. Very thick fabric that almost looked like a drape, but well made with great fit so ended up working well. Looked great with a tan :) wore it to the Saratoga horse races

I wore this dress to a daytime horse race in April. The fabric was perfect for the slightly chilly weather (it's pretty heavy) and the color/print is adorable, but if you're got a butt like me, I'd recommend sizing up!

The dress arrived damaged, however I was still able to wear it. There was a wire sticking striaght out of the top of the dress. I had to push it down periodically throughout the evening. The dress itself fit well... which says a lot because I am normally a size 00. Yes, the dress was canvas- but I was at an outside wedding in a temp. of 106 degrees, and I was not that uncomfortable. Overall, great pick.

I really loved this dress. I wore it to a rehearsal dinner over the summer, and got tons of compliments. One other poster commented that the yellow does not look the same in the picture as it does in person, and she is correct; the color in person is a little more mustard-y, but once it's on, you will forget about that. It can get a little short when you sit down, so if you're taller than 5'8 (I'm 5'9), it can be a little risque. I was sitting at a table with a tablecloth, so it didn't matter too much to me, but buyer beware. Also, best part, it has pockets!

I opted to wear the 6 to accommodate my booty, but should've worn the 4. The top half of the dress is best with bigger breasts (bigger than my 36C). Overall, gorgeous, but invest in some double stick tape..

Great dress for summer. Fit through the body true to size. I'm on the taller side, so I was really worried it was too short when it arrived. It was fine, just showed more leg than I'd planned. It looks 2 inches longer on the site's model. Even still it looked great.

This runs SUPER small. Not for anyone with a larger chest. I ended up going with my backup dress

The fabric is not as bright as the fabric, more of a dark mustard than bright yellow. Also the fabric is very bulky, making it feel more "Easter Sunday"if you know what I mean

This dress runs very small, I have other Milly dresses in a size 2 that fit perfectly and this was very small as well as the color is not the bright sunny yellow in the picture but more of a mustard that wasn't all that pretty. I sent it back the day it came.

Cute color, cute design . . .but it was strange. It is a summery dress, but the fabric is really thick! Also, the fit just did not work for me. The top, waist, and legs were all really really too big. But it was still tight at the bottom against my legs. I wore it, but was straightening it out all night. Not for me.

the actual color of this dress is more of a darker yellow, no back up size available, so it may have fit in a larger size, tried the 0 but it was way too small.

I was very disappointed by this dress. The color is dull - not bright like pictured. Also, the fabric is more suitable for winter work attire than for a summer dress - thick and scratchy. I opted not to wear it at all. The cut is beautiful but the fabric is really attrocious.
