The dress is pretty true to size. The under layer that is form fitted is why I went why size 8. I AM OBSESSSSED. It was so flattering. Perfect for any formal event.

I rented this dress for my brothers wedding 3 months post baby. It was beyond perfect. Forgiving of the extra weight while still looking so sleek. Endless compliments. I tried to even track it down to buy after I loved it so much!

Heavy fabric, still a nice deep black color. Had to wear a strapless bra bc of the neckline and keyhole in the back. Subtle sexiness. Easy to move in.

I loved how unique this dress was. It wasn't my first choice, and I chose it after RTR didn't have my original dress, but I wound up being really happy with it. I got several compliments on how interesting and different it is. It's very easy to personalize. The under part ran small on my butt/hips--probably okay for women who are slightly smaller in that area and runs TTS. Overall an excellent dress. One I would love to have in my closet!

Im obsessed with this dress. It fit perfectly. I have wide hips and the underdress was a little snug but totally comfortable. Very flattering for a pear shaped woman like myself. Very well made. Heavy material. Wore it for New Year’s Eve and LOVED IT.

The dress fit perfectly. I am 5'4'', 110lbs and have a very small chest and narrow waist. I would recommend this for someone with a smaller bust as I didn't need to wear a bra nor did I have any issues with it being too tight. I do have a little bit of a but and runner's legs so the tight bottom fit perfectly and didn't ride up or be too loose. The best part of the dress are the slits. You show some leg from the side but then you look conservative from the front. I loved everything about the dress. I felt sexy and comfortable all night. I paired the dress with a raffeta clutch, some colorful earrings, some bangles, and strappy nude heels for a gorgeous spring wedding. The entire night, I got numerous compliments from the bridal party, the bride, other wedding guests, and my date. Like I said, I love this dress and will 100% rent this again.

I rented this dress through my Unlimited for a night out during NYC fashion week. This is easily one of my favs ever. The midi length makes it modern, the double side slits give it some edge, and the neckline is flattering. I didn't need to wear a bra with it, but you could wear a strapless. At 5'5, 120, the size 0 fit like a glove, size up if you have curves as the fabric has no stretch. HIGHLY recommend. Love!

I received several compliments on this dress. It was a comfy material which was great for dancing. The sizing is a tad off. When I went to the RTR in Georgetown the rep told me I would 100% be a 6 based on measurements. The 6 fit more like a 4, so I wore the size 8 dress. It was a tad snug in the tummy area but nothing spanx could fix. The side slits are so much fun! And makes it easy to dance in!

The dress fit true to size. The inner part was a little short but because of the front and back overlay, it was perfectly classy. It was a little different in style, but fit my style well.

I'm tall so this was very short on me. Would be great for an average sized lady. Loved that the cut was unique. Difficult to figure out a bra that worked.

Wore this to a movie premier and had friends telling me after a few hours- "I just noticed that side slit! So sexy but subtle!" I loved having something a little differently. True to size and one of the nice things is even if it doesn't fit you perfectly the sheath will cover it up. The inner part is quite short as some other reviewers mentioned, but I didn't think it was too short. Comfortable, classy, yet sexy.

The material was nice - great feel, thick (but not hot), forgiving. The fitted part of the dress is very short, but the long overlay makes it appropriate for most cocktail wear type events. The dress was comfortable and unique, overall happy with the rental.

Great for cocktail attire wedding - thicker fabric that flatters the waist. The neckline showed more upper chest/neckline than I prefer, but still a really solid, flattering and cute dress.

I wore this to a "Semi-Formal" work holiday party where the dress code is typically loosely interpreted. The dress was incredibly comfortable, allowed me to dance, sit, stand, eat with ease. I was not worried about any sort of mishaps through the evening, did not have to wear spanx nor a bra! I am 5'9 3/4" (exactly) and wore 3.5" heels. Because my legs are longer, the inner dress was actually perfect length and I felt fully covered.

This dress is amazing! I wore it at least a hand full of times w different accessories - so versatile I went from dinner at the local Mexican joint w friends to date night to formal events. The underneath layer is shorter and makes you feel sexy (without showing off too much, but the top layer gives it an edge to it (plus it helps cover the bloat from a few too many tacos). I'm absolutely obsessed with this dress!

if you have much of a chest - you'll want to size up - the fabric is not stretchy and is small on the bust. Otherwise a great dress, got tons of compliments, even ended up buying it! It's both classic and interesting at the same time.

Fit like a dream

I am very large chested 36G/H and struggle with fit of many dresses. This one didn't make me look so huge on top and had some nice give. I am only 5'2" and it hit low mid calf. I got several compliments on it and would definitely rent again!

This dress worked very well for me. I typically wear size 10 pants, size 12 dresses, and the 12 fit perfectly. The fabric has a little bit of stretch making it quite comfortable. The dress provided some support at the bust so I wore a stretchy bandeau bra for a little extra comfort (a strapless underwire bra pushed my chest out of the top in an unflattering way). The under skirt length was great. If I could find a way to buy the is dress I would!
