Classy dress in a navy blue, & adored the side bow. I was going for a simple look but something that said look at me and this dress was perfect for the wedding. Fits true to size, I got a 2 and had no problem with it.

I rented this dress for NYE and it was beautiful. The fabric is really thick and the dress is well built. But it was tight! I am usually a 4, but even the back-up 6 was a little snug. I definitely could have worn it, but I also ordered a back-up dress that fit better. But it's a beautiful dark, dark navy and a lovely dress!

Really liked this dress - wore it to a friend's rehersal dinner and was a good classic. Runs true to size so is a fairly easy fit.

Mixed reviews for this dress. Pro's-very beautiful dress, tons of compliments. Con's-I'm somewhat petite but have a 32C chest. I almost could not wear my size 2 dress because it was tight up top. Also, the dress came down to almost my knees. The dress also did have a little wear to it when you looked at it up close.

The dress ran very true to size and was very nice for a wedding.

I rented this dress as my backup for New Years Eve and wore it instead of my primary dress. This dress is extremely well made. It was adorable. I loved wearing it! I ordered the 8, which is my normal size and a 10 as a backup. I ended up wearing the 10 because the 8 was too small for my bustline. Please note that this dress has NO stretch! This would not be a good dress for ladies with larger bustlines.

This was my backup dress, and it was really lovely. I ended up going up one size do to the lack of give in the waist. The color is really nice, I would rent again for a wedding for sure.

I'm 5'6, athletic shape mid-section down (size 28 jeans), but with full 36C bust. So basically dresses are impossible. I generally wear a 6/8 I was really happy with the 8. The 6 wouldn't close at the bust area in the back. As for the actual dress, the bow doesn't really stay up, but so I used the boob fashion tape to tape the bow up. Otherwise it looks pretty limp. The dress color isn't as bold in person. Not sure if that's just because it was worn, or if it's supposed to be slightly faded (but still shiny). Looked great then, though!

Wonderful dress, fit like a dream. I loved the bow, the color (deep blue) and the boning. It was great for my formal dinner. I have a large bust and it contained it all! Dress stayed put all night!

I didn't actually wear this one, because I loved my backup dress so much, but it was a tough decision. I went with the backup because this one felt a bit too formal for the venue. The size 4 fit perfectly. I'm short and it fell just above the knee. May be tight in the chest if bigger than a B.

Absolutely LOVED this dress. It ran true to size. Would definitely rent it again. The color was stunning. It looks black in this picture, but it is really a beautiful dark blue.

This dress is very pretty and has a flattering cut for many different body types. If you are looking for an accessory, the champagne and chains necklace goes particularly well it. I received so many compliments!

Very pretty dress. I ordered a 0 and a 2, and wore the 0. The zero looked like it had been rented many times. Not something others noticed, but I did. Fabric looked a little worn, but still beautiful. Love Milly dresses!

I loved this dress - I am 5'6.5", 138 lbs and the 4 fit me PERFECTLY and was also so comfortable. I got numerous complements on it and will definitely rent again.

This was a beautiful dress, got a lot of compliments on it. It is a very deep Navy, not black, just FYI. I decided to rent the 4 and the 6 because of the suggestions to size up. I wore the 4, but it just fit me in the chest. The 6 was looser, but the body was then too big. I'm a 34C so if you're bigger than that I think the proportions of this dress would be tough for you unless you wanted a looser fit in the body.

This dress worked very nicely for a summer wedding I went to. I wish I would have rented the Kenneth Jay Lane green earrings. They would look perfect with this dress. I ordered both the 2 and 4. Typically, I wear closer to a size 4 in dresses, but the 2 fit almost perfectly. The chest was a tiny bit snug, but it didn't flatten my chest.

This dress was beautiful and received so many compliments. It fits pretty much true to size but was a little tight in the chest so I went one size up. The cut in front does come up high when seated so may not be great for really tall girls. At 5'1" it came to about an inch or two inches above my knee. I loved it and would even consider buying it. Perfect for a wedding.

I, too, thought this dress was black, but was delighted to discover it was a deep deep midnight blue (hence, the midnight in the product description...oops). Gorgeous in person! Very well-constructed boned bodice gave ample support (I'm a D cup) and defined the waist. The length was slightly above the knee on me (the model is 5'11"), so perfectly appropriate for the evening wedding I wore it to. I felt beautiful in this dress and got tons of compliments. I think I need to own it.

This dress was my backup and it was VERY small. Very narrow! Lovely silky fabric and great cut if you are very straight.

This dress was gorgeous and a perfect fit. I usually wear size 0, and 0 worked great. It was about an inch above my knees in the back, so it didn't look short at all even when I sat down. It was really comfortable and I danced all night long.

Love love love this dress! Rent it!! I wore it to my engagement party, and it was a huge hit. It is a deep blue, but I wore black shoes with it, and it was not a problem. I'm between a size zero and two. I got the zero, and it fit perfectly. I'm seriously going to buy this dress I loved it so much!

I rented this for an October wedding, and thank goodness I ordered a backup! I'm 5'5", 150 lbs and usually strapless dresses fit me great, but this one didn't work. It was WAY too tight in the chest and the length was not flattering on someone my height. If you're tall or more athletic then it would probably be beautiful, but for someone my height/weight, I wouldn't recommend it.

I loved this dress - it was so comfortable and complimented my figure! The material is forgiving - so I didn't felt comfortable eating, drinking and dancing at our event!

this dress was gorgeous but did not work out for me. the larger size was too big up top and the smaller size felt too snug on my hips. just didnt work for my body type, but was so well made!

Absolutely loved this dress! Fit perfectly and was super flattering. The tulip skirt slit in the front would get kinda revealing when I sat down, but overall great dress!

Would like to review this dress but it never showed up. I've rented from RTR 3 times, and this is the only time the dress just never showed up. They apologized and gave me a free rental, but for that event I had to run out and buy a dress at the last minute. Looks like a pretty dress, wish I could've worn it.

This dress is beautiful! Got many compliments. As others noted, the dress is much longer on a shorter person. I'm 5'4", and it came down to just above my knee, which was perfect for the occasion (friend's wedding). It's a deep navy matte satin - someone said it's not as "silky" as the pic, but it's plenty silky, just not as shiny. It's a nice kind of satin (a little more matte), like nicer wedding dresses, so it looks classy & expensive (I prefer that to a super shiny material). The bow on the side lay differently than the picture - the upper portion of the bow kind of droops down in the pic, but it was standing upright when it came to me. My measurements are about 32.5-25.5-33.5, & size 0 fit perfectly.

This dress is stunning on. A couple of notes, though. First, its a very dark shade of blue, not black. Second, I was concerned about the length of the dress (and kind of looking forward to the sexy leg like the model, but the model is really tall. I'm 5'4'' and the dress hit me just above the knee (like, 3 inches below where it hits the model). It still looked amazing on. I wore this to an October wedding and love it.

I did wear a more padded strapless bra and used the tape that came complimentary with the dress.

I loved this dress and thought it was cute and classy. It fit perfect everywhere except the waist. Girls with a small waist that prefer a fitted dress through the waist may find this dress too big.

Loved the dress. fits perfectly and I actually didn't even need a bra(34D). I did not have to tug it up all night, which never happens. Hit me right above the knee, very comfortable, and got tons of compliments. Would definitely recommend this!

got many compliments on this dress, really did love it. im 5'5", 34b, 120lbs and the size 2 fit perfectly. the bow was a great detail and looked very similar to the picture. definitely longer on me then it was in the picture, but still looks great. only complaint is that the dress did look like it had been cleaned/worn a few times, the fabric started to look a little worn out with some threads pulling. would definitely use rent the runway again!

This dress is beautiful! Like many of the other comments mentioned it's a gorgeous deep blue color, NOT black, but I think it works with black shoes. It's a great cut- well made and very comfortable. I really liked the length of the dress, but it might be awkwardly long on a shorter girl. I'm only an inch shorter than the model and the dress was a couple of inches longer on me than it appears in the photo. The only other issue I had is that the dress looked VERY straight on me from the back (although you couldn't tell from the front). So I guess if you're a smaller size and have narrow hips, just be aware it doesn't really do anything to give you curves.

Dress is DARK BLUE- not black! But very flattering on a pear shape. I wore it to a holiday party in December and it fit nicely and really was flattering (hiding any extra holiday weight).

This is a great dress. Unfortunately, I rented it thinking it was black. But it's quite comfortable, and a nice material although I would say it's not as silky as it looks in the picture. Still a great rental!

Liked this dress a lot. Great color - almost makes people (myself included) do a double take - is that blue or black? It is a very deep blue in case you're confused by the picture. It's very pretty and unique. I would recommend this dress.

The dress was a lot longer than I initially thought it would be, even though I ordered a 0. The sides of the dress came down to about my knees and the slit was a little bit above that. I would recommend that if you're short, you should order the smaller sizes and make sure you're okay with it being long. Other than that, I had no problems with this dress! The dress stayed closed in front (even with the slit) and I got compliments on how nice I looked all night!

This dress was alright, nothing out of this world. The bust as a little tight for me but the rest fit fine. I liked the color a lot - a deep navy blue. Overall it didn't' stand out, but it served its purposed and it looked good.
