It's definitely an interesting dress, but I feel like it looks better in the pictures on the site, than on me. I should have gotten a 4, because it was too big, but I decided to wear the 6 anyway since I had it. It bunches around the waist and hips, and I just didn't think it was very flattering. Wouldn't rent again.

I am usually a true size 4, but this dress was too big. The thick fabric looked awkward wrinkling out in the areas where the dress was loose. The seam or fabric in the armpit was also noticeably itchy, although I would have toughed it out and worn it anyway had it fit correctly.

Beautiful dress. The fabric is thicker so it's very forgiving. I wore it at a conference and dinner and it was comfortable for 15 hours straight!

I loved the look. It's unique and different than normal dresses.

Thick fabric, can we sweaty if you're indoors. Here's a pic of the hem, you can't see from far away but it's unfinished and not the greatest. Still 5 stars from me but worth noting the hem as that bothered me a little

This dress is made out of heavy scuba material. The long sleeves keep it warm for winter here in Chicago. Even the zipper feels like a scuba suit. Overall it fit true to size, and was appropriate for work with a touch of sexiness.

This dress does a great job of hiding imperfections. Will rent again!

The dress definitely runs large and even though the size 4 fitted me, it was still a little bit large on the hips. I absolutely love the color pattern. Received many many compliments at work. The fabric is very warm and thick so it was perfect for my cold office. The length is also very appropriate for my corporate office. It was a little itchy on the seams but didn't bother me too much.

Love this dress - fabric is thick, similar to La Petite Robe Chiari Boni. Perfect for my 6'0 frame and comfortable all day

LOVE the fit, the material is like wearing a scuba suit. It's weird at first but it sort of works like you have a shaper all over your body. I wore for work which is television and just loved it.

Great fit! Perfect for work as a lawyer! The only con was that the some reason the seams of the sleeves are really, really itchy. Otherwise gorgeous color, great fit. Excuse the terrible photo. Taken before makeup by my 6 year old but the dress is beautiful!

This dress is beautiful. It has a very thick material that is forgiving. It was one of the first dresses I rented for work once I got on the unlimited plan.

This was great for a fall day at work. The fabric is very thick and the color was nice and rich. Great fit, nice cut and length for the office.

This was the perfect "on-air" dress for work! Long sleeves AND solid/bright colors are so hard to find! The dress is very thick - so perfect for cold studios or offices! I use my arms a lot when moving on the green screen, so my only con is that it rides up a bit, especially if you have a smaller waist!

This was a very interesting dress. I don't think I have ever worn anything made out of this material besides a scuba suit. I have an hourglass shape and normally dresses like this hug all my curves, this one was very baggy at the waist. Also, the sleeves were very itchy, took me a few hours to get use to it. The color is vibrant and the dress was very comfortable and nice and warm for a chilly day. I am always very nervous when I rent a dress, I am worried I am going to spill something on it. Well, it happened with this dress. I was walking out the door and someone bumped into me and spilled my soda down the front. I figured that the spill ruined the dress and I was probably going to have to purchase it. I got into my car, grabbed a couple of cloths and wiped the spots (some were large). I was shocked! Nothing soaked into the dress. It was cleaned up and dried in less than 5 minutes! It never absorbed any of it! Thank Goodness!

Very comfortable, stretch material. Color was great and waist up looked great! I don't know if it was the cut, the pattern (or lack thereof), or just me, but the it was definitely NOT slimming on the the lower half. It seemed to actually accentuate my hips. Also, a trusted friend said that the back wasn't a great fit. Wouldn't rent again but it was nice for a work day/meetings.

It fit comfortably in my normal size, but if I ordered this dress again, I might size up. It felt very tight, but that is the style!

Seriously, this dress is awesome. It definitely won't work on every body type, though. I'm usually a size 6 (5'5", 140 lbs) so I ordered the 6 and the 4 as backup. I'm SO glad I ordered the 4 and I even wish I had ordered the 2. The hips on this dress are very strange and while the 4 definitely fit my bust, I think the 2 would have fit better through the hips. You can see a little bit of the bunching at the hip in the picture but it definitely wasn't bad enough for me to not wear the dress. And I got compliments all night long! As other reviewers have said, the material reminds me of a wetsuit but definitely not in a bad way. If anything, it meant that I didn't have to wear a jacket over it. I would definitely wear again!

I wore this for a work conference. I sized up from what I normally would get due to availability. Sleeves were a bit short for my liking and it was a little baggy but otherwise I liked it.

I rented this dress for an interview for a broadcast reporter position. I was pleased overall, particularly because I landed the job, but I have a few comments regarding this dress. 1. Many other reviews encouraged renters to size down. However, I disagree. I would suggest ordering the size you usually wear and then sizing up for your backup. This dress is very form fitting and can hug unflattering areas, especially if you carry your weight in the mid section. 2. Like other reviews state, the fabric is strange. "Wet suit" material is the perfect way to describe it. The weight of the fabric was fine for a cold March day, but I have sensitive skin and it was a bit irritating. 3. Loved the length, but maybe not for someone under 5'5. This hit right below the knee on me and looked super sleek with some pointy toe nude heels. I'm 5'7 though, and could see this dress not being a great option for shorter women. 4. I rented this dress with the sole intention of having it look good on camera. The vibrant royal blue and minimalist color block pattern are perfect for this. 5. There was some pulling of the seams and loose threads. Hopefully RTR has caught these defects! Overall, I liked the style and color of the dress. With some Spanx on, I felt confident and even received compliments in the news room. I guess this rent paid off!

After reading the reviews, I decided to rent a size smaller, which was probably the right decision. The material is thick (read other people's comments on wet suit material) and will definitely keep you warm in the winter! My only gripe with the dress was that the sleeves were super tight and made my Fitbit and watch feel uncomfortable. Gave it 3 stars because the dress fit (in the smaller size), it looked good, I liked it, but I wasn't in love with it. Still haven't decided if I will rent again. Did get compliments on it.

I rented this dress for an evening party with my work. I was really surprised at how stretchy this dress was, but it was so "forgiving" that both sizes that I ordered (4 and 6) were bunchy and had way too much extra material all over the place for me. Other reviews were spot-on about the odd "wet-suit" material that is super-thick and, in my opinion, adds too much bulk to an otherwise cool design. Don't get me wrong, there's a ton of room in the bust, the rear, etc., but I didn't feel like the dress clung and hung to my body the right way. I wasn't able to wear the dress to my event, so I went with a backup dress that I had brought with me.

The fabric was not what I expected. It feels like a wetsuit. The seams are a little scratchy on the inside. When it's smoothed out, it creates a very pleasing sillhouette, but it stretched out a little by the end of the day in my experience.

The dress runs big. The fabric reminds me of a wetsuit- it's very warm and stretchy. The blue pops and the chevron design is flattering. I gave it three stars because the fit wasn't perfect.

In theory this dress is great. But it is literally made out of wetsuit material (literally) and has a wetsuit zippier. It is so extremely uncomfortable, very hot, and because it runs large, left weird stretchy gaps on my stomach area and hips. I don't be fooled by the pictures this dress sucks.

I really, really liked this dress, which is very comfortable and very sharp with black boots. It's form fitting, which I like. The fabric is unusual, a bit outdoorsy and technical feeling, but looks fine.

Dress fit fine. I was disappointed to see that the dress isn't hemmed on the bottom. It looks like someone took a pair of kiddie scissors to it and cut it off. Really weird. The sleeves are hemmed. I don't get it.

This is my second time renting this dress, absolutely love. This time however I noticed a small rip/tear on the inner part of one of the sleeves; hopefully it gets fixed so I could rent again! I got even more compliments this second time. A lady said "I need to shop where you shop," lol!

I loved that the fabric felt sturdier but still had give to it. The bold blue is eye catching. The cut of the black strip around the bust line is very specific and I would need to adjust occasionally so it didn't look like it was cutting off my bust. I wore it to work, but it would be a great choice for an interview, office party or after work drinks. Great!

The material of this dress is neoprene-ish so it's very warm. The fabric is stretchy and hugs your body, but doesn't ride up when you walk which is a huge plus. It did run large (I sized down and it was perfect fit). The arms are nice and long which is hard to find in long sleeved dresses sometimes, especially for us tall girls. Highly recommend for a work or social function!

I wore this to an induction ceremony during a cold day in January and it was very well receipted.The color and style was just right and it was very comfortable. I wore the 0 because the 2 was a bit loose in the waist . The length hit above the knee but was not too short. I would recommend this dress and would rent it again.
