This whole outfit were pieces from Rent The Runway. The skirt was adorable and I received so many compliments on it. The tropical pront was subtle but I felt it represented my Filipino background a bit. This skirt is forgiving and you can actually eat in it. The skirt rides higher and above the waist so it feels very regal. I would rent this again. Absolutely.

I normally wear between a 0 and 2 and this skirt was perfect in the size 0! I paired it with a simple black crop top I had and it was an elegant look for a Miami wedding. It was perfectly colorful and I absolutely loved it!

Let me tell you--this dress is the absolute best rental I've ever had from RTR to date. The fit was perfect, the print was to die for, and the style is edgy and cute and sexy at the same time. It was perfect for a 24/7 shindig: conference during the day, cocktail party in the afternoon, and the bar at night. I got sooooo many compliments on this dress. I wore the skirt a second time on my vacation with a different brightly colored crop top and it worked amazing.

This two piece set was such fun to wear. I'm short but liked the length on me. I went smaller for the skirt and larger for the top so that the skirt wouldn't shift from the smallest part of my waist. The combo meant no skin was showing at my mid-drift at all. This is exactly what I'd hoped, as we were at a garden party in honor of our upcoming wedding with lots of older adult present. I do feel the colors in the fabric had dulled a bit, but that was fine for our event. I wore a nubra underneath.

Such a fun skirt and ran true to size. It's a little long for my height but it still looked great. Will definitely rent again.

Loved how vibrant this pattern is! I wore a size four and found it robbed true to size. It's a simple shape with an awesome pattern. The length was his right and I loved the pockets.

I rented this for a Progressive Dinner Party on a hot summer night, it was perfect!! The fabric is weighty, but not heavy or hot. The skirt sits high on your waist, so the top falls in the right place and is not too revealing. I wore a 4 in both top and skirt and each fit great. The top was not loose and I was able to wear it without a bra, and still feel comfortable and tucked in. The pockets on the skirt are always an added bonus. Overall, one of my favorite rentals so far. Super unique, I had a million compliments, par for all my best RTR's!!!

I had to size up because in my normal (8) there was a bit too much pinch and my skin spilled over. Wore this to an outdoor concert… So new that I would be standing up all night, posture is everything in this crop top! Loved the look.

Loved this skirt- i wanted to wear something different than just another dress to another wedding. This was a really special event for me, this skirt was perfect- i paired it with a black crop top- high neck, open back. it was the perfect amount of playful yet sophisticated. The skirt it pretty thick, so it was a little warm, but was the perfect length to dance all night, didn't get caught in it once! So awesome. I got compliments the entire night that I was, "Best Dressed"

This outfit was so cute and comfortable! Like the other reviews say, you will most likely need to size up in the skirt. Could have worn my regular size but it was more comfortable sized up. The top was my normal size.

I am in love with this top/skirt combo. I ordered a 4 in the skirt because I have a smaller waist and it fit perfectly. The fabric is very heavy, so I was extremely hot during a hot outdoor summer wedding. Overall, I really loved the outfit & wish I could have kept it. I received so many compliments all night for how unique and fun the outfit was. Love!

The skirt was amazing! It was perfect for the benefit event at the zoo I went to. I read the reviews that it ran small, so I ordered up. I usually wear an 8/10 in a dress, but I ended up wearing the 12 to be more comfortable. I loved the top and skirt together! Overall, I got so many compliments and felt comfortable in the outfit. I cannot say enough how much I loved wearing this. If I could live in it, I would. I rented this for my boyfriend's brother's rehearsal dinner and got so many compliments I couldn't even count them if I'd tried. This skirt runs very true to size. I fit in the size 2 as well since it sits high on the waist but found that since the fabric has no stretch, the 4 was a little more comfortable. I'm obsessed with the length, I think it's very fresh and the print makes it a quirky 50s throwback with a modern touch. Plus, it has pockets. Enough said. Will definitely be renting again for whatever events I can get my hands on it for.

I rented this set for my bridal brunch. It was perfect for the event. I got so many complements all day from friends and strangers alike! The best part was how comfortable the set is. The brunch was late morning and we ended up day drinking afterward. I wore the dress all day and loved every minute. I would but this set if RTR would let me. I recommend this outfit for any occasion. I usually wear a size 2, sometimes a 4. I tried on the 2 first and it fit perfect so I never tried the 4.

Beautiful skirt, pleats lay nicely after pressed. Pockets a plus! Beautiful pattern with pop of color. Flattering if heavier on bottom/pear shape. One of my favorite rentals this far! Second time to rent!

I'm short (5'3) and curvy, especially my hips so I usually stay away from long skirts but this parrot print was calling my name. So glad I went for this Milly combo, it was fun and garnered compliments all night. I wore the size 12 skirt and it fit perfectly giving just a peak of skin with the crop top. The length was much much longer on me than is shown on the model so tall wedges were a must.

I rented this (and had it shipped to a hotel) for a weeklong work conference. We had meetings all day then went out for dinner - this was perfect. Super comfortable, and easy to dress up and down. The top is a crop, I just kept it pulled to the base of the skirt to keep it appropriate. To dress down I swapped the blazer w/ a jean jacket & threw on black booties. You'll love this rental!

I wore size 10 in the top and size 12 in the skirt. Because of how I sized it (both slightly sized up), you could barely tell it was a crop top-style outfit - that's what I wanted since I was attending a friend's wedding in Texas. I had so much fun wearing this outfit!!

I loved this combo! The skirt and top fit beautifully (maybe a little tight for a 6 on the skirt, but still worked) with just a sliver of skin. I wore the combo to a Catholic Church wedding with a cardigan with just the top button done, then lost the cardigan for the reception, and when we went bar hopping at the end of the night wore just the skirt with the cardigan tucked in. I got so many compliments and felt sufficiently formal but unique. These are two pieces I would love to own.

Loved this skirt! I wore it with a black body suit as opposed to renting the matching top and it worked out really well. I am a bit short waisted, so the waistband actually sat on my lower ribcage and was a bit tight. If you're between sizes, or have a generous midsection, I'd recommend sizing up. Also - pockets!

So cute! But as it is a high waisted skirt and the fabric has no give be warned that it has to fit you just right to be comfortable! So many compliments and I absolutely loved pairing it with both colored and neutral tops!

This fit me really well! The top was a little weird but you just have to be comfortable not wearing a bra with it. I would maybe try sticky cups. The straps also dug in a little, but overall the skirt and top were comfortable.!

This skirt is gorgeous. I am very short (5'1 on a GOOD day) and so I was worried about wearing a long skirt, but the cut and design of the skirt looks great even on shorties. The matching top wasn't available the day I wanted it, so i paired it with a black tank top (and the next day, a white tank-top -- yes, I wore it two days in a row) but I think it didn't look quite as good as it would have with the matching crop-top. If I did it again, I would have worn it with a different crop top rather than a full top. People STILL came up to me telling me they loved the skirt though. It is so well made, with quality fabric and lining, and just so eye-catching. It was hard to return!

This outfit was the best thing I've rented, and easily the best outfit I've ever worn to a wedding! It got a ton of compliments, was totally unique, was so festive and easy to wear! The skirt fits flatteringly at the waist and flows away from the body creating a delightful swish. Major pro: POCKETS! Highly recommend! Wish I could wear it a thousand times!

I ordered the 8 because the 6 was unavailable. I think the 6 would have been perfect because the 8 gapped slightly at the waist. I think if they had had the 6, the skirt would have sat higher on my waist, reducing the amount of tummy exposed. Especially at the end of the night after dancing, it loosened up a good bit. However, it was too adorable to not wear it! Loved everything about this look. The quality was great, and the skirt had pockets which were so convenient! Love love love!! Best RTR moment so far!

this outfit was by far my favorite rental to date! the fabric felt expensive while still being light enough to be worn in the summertime. the pattern was so fun, i got endless amounts of compliments all night. the skirt was easy to dance in and the pockets added a casual touch. i paired the skirt and the matching crop top and was so happy with the look. the top fit a bit looser and i wish o had sized down but was still happy with the overall look. would definitely rent again. needs no shapewear, a strapless bra or no bra and minimal jewelry to create a fabulously fashion forward look. would rent again... or buy!!

Top fits well, wore with a lightly padded strapless bra (if are small chested and want to go braless would probably size down). Skirt was true to size and hit right above belly button. Has pockets (that fit my iPhone 6 in a slim case). I am 5'8.5" and the skirt came to about mid-shin. Super comfortable, cotton fabric, easy to iron/steam. Skirt is lined and quite thick, but was ok in heat/humidity. Highly recommend. Top would also be super cute with a bright, solid color skirt and vice versa.

This skirt is beautiful! Great for dancing and there are pockets! This skirt was slightly tight, I may have felt more comfortable in a 12, but overall pretty true to size.

I absolutely love this skirt with the matching crop top. You can't go wrong with Milly. I rented this as one of my unlimited items. I did not want to send it back. It pairs nice with a plain tank top and looks amazing with the Milly top too. The pockets are great. I truly believe all dresses and skirts should come with them! It was a perfect fit! I want to own this outfit. It's fun, sexy, tropical and super stylish!

The fashion of the skirt itself is fantastic. Cons: The -star is that it was pressed and hung wrong and and it looks like it has been worn A LOT. The lining is starting to pill and the color is fading. The white looks dingy. Pros: The pattern is beautiful, there are pockets and it perfectly shows a small waist. If you have a big waist, size up. I have wide hips/thighs and there was no issue there. For reference, I have a 27" waist and this fit perfectly. I wanted a couple other items for vacation so I paired it with a turquoise tank tucked in and a dark teal cardi. The colors complemented the skirt perfectly. I also wore this for work when I got back. It is very versatile. I would seriously consider renting this again with the matching crop, especially if for a tropical/tiki themed cocktail party.

The skirt fits high so you only see a sliver of skin, making it totally appropriate for a more formal event - mine was a friends rehearsal dinner. I like how the print and cut are a little funky, so I played that up by pairing with black and white lace up heels. Highly recommend, got compliments all night long!
