I wore this dress to Barristers' Ball, and I absolutely loved it. It's one of the most comfortable dresses I've ever worn, hands down. That back of the dress is what made is a showstopper, and if you want to show off your back, this is the dress for you. The one complaint I have is that the 2R was still too long, even with 5" heels (I'm 5'3"). Throughout the night, I was constantly holding my dress up so that people wouldn't step on it. Despite my best efforts, a lot of people still stepped on it accidentally, and my date even stood on my dress a few times without realizing it. As you can see, the white portions of the bottom of the dress started to get a little dirty, which annoyed me. All in all, I'd say that this is a great dress, but had I known that its length would cause some issues, I would've likely gotten another dress. However, if you're 5'5" and above, you likely wouldn't have the same length problems as me.

I wore this dress for prom, and I loved it. I wore a 2L ( which I wouldn't have chosen for my self, thank God for my mother), and the fit was great. The dress is fitted in the middle, then it drapes down. I'm around 5'9/5'10 and I wore 4-5 inch heels and it still was dragging on the floor. I would say to get a regular fit if you don't feel like picking up your dress the whole night while dancing and such. The only reason I didn't wear my other size (4R) was due to the middle not hugging right. All in all, I loved this dress. The colours are great, and it was a show stopper.

I LOVED this dress! Not only is it striking, it's also super comfortable and the fabric is flowy and lightweight (fun to dance in!) I'm a little bigger around the hips and the cut of this dress was very flattering. I wore it with a backless bra and added some fashion tape along the sides to keep the fabric from gapping. One note: the Long length is reaaally long. I'm 5'7" and I wore 5" heels and the dress still skimmed the ground.

I wore very tall Charles David Wedges. I am almost 5'4. The dress was a tad long but 4P and 6P were not options on this dress. This was my first time using RTR and I will definitely be using this service again. Super easy and affordable.

I rent from RTR a lot... But never received so many compliments on this dress! I have a short torso, so I had to pin the straps down a bit. But other than that it was a comfortable dress. I loved that the dress had such light fabric, I twirled around all night!

We were throwing a Black and White Ball and I needed a dress that was Truman Capote style after the parties he threw at the Plaza in NYC. I wore a size 8R but needed the 6R which wasn't available. The dress material was very light and flowed beautifully when you moved. The chest area was a little big for me so I added a glittering belt at the waist to help cinch in loose material. I also used double sided stylist tape at the sides of the dress so my breasts would be covered. I didn't wear a bra or slip, there was enough layering of material that you couldn't see through the material. It was a hit!

I rented this dress for a valentines day event. I was unsure which size, so I ordered a 6L. I also ordered another dress in a 4L, and while that dress fit great, it was way too short (was the gold sequin Badgley Mischka). This dress ran a little big on me (I bet the 4L would have fit perfect!), but we safety pinned the back and I added a belt and it fit wonderful! It's very forgiving and I think would fit anyone great! I LOVED this dress! It was SO much fun to wear and even while walking, it flowed so pretty! It's very comfortable and a statement! I received so many compliments and felt beautiful! I really did not want to send it back!!! You'll love it!!!!

This dress garnered tons of comments throughout the evening, including someone approaching me to tell me it was their favorite dress at the event and even the waitstaff stopped me to tell me they loved it. First things first, was exceptionally comfortable, which is a huge bonus. The R length was great with a tall pair of heels for my 5'3" / 5'4" height. As it is open back I wore a front-only bra, which I would definitely suggest as the material is thin-ish (though not see-through). Because the dress is flowing, there was no need to worry about fit through the hips, so it would be a great dress for someone with larger hips / pear shaped ladies. I seriously can not say enough about how much I loved this dress; the next day I was saying how I need to own it instead!

This dress is business in the front, party in the back. It looks very conservative from the front but the back is totally open. I'm 5'8" and the 8L is too long for me with three inch heels on. Normally, I have to have the long just to have it come past my ankles. The fabric feels pretty and a nice quality. The long a-line skirt is very figure flattering, but the back means you have to be keeping up at the gym anyway. I have the unlimited subscription and would love to try it on a 6R but no time to send back before the event. Will wear a different dress instead.

I said that this gown runs large because, if it were my dress, I would have the top half tailored a bit (I have a tiny chest); however, with a little extra from a NuBra (you need it unless you want to go bare) any fit issues were probably only noticeable to me. That because the top has kind of a loose blouson effect. My favorite things about this dress were the beautiful gathered silk, which had beautiful movement, and the awesome open back. I wore it to an Air Force Dining Out gala and I certainly stood out; it was my favorite dress I saw there and I got plenty of compliments. This was my first time renting from this site and it was overall a great experience. It was very easy to wear and return the dress and I love that I had the option of having another style overnighted if I needed it. The price was totally worth it. The gown was not in perfect condition (there were a few threads sticking out, the strap stitching showed some wear, and on the back, a tiny bit of the lining bowed out and was visible where the straps met it) but again, these were things probably only noticeable to me, and they were totally acceptable in a $125 silk chiffon gown that arrived clean, spotless, and somehow unwrinkled. I did notice that the price of the rental was lowered after I had reserved it but had not received it yet....that was a little disappointing. Nonetheless, no deal breakers, a great experience, and I will use this site again. Thanks for making my night glamorous! The concept of RTR is great for me because it helps with some of my consumer guilt as well as my compulsive shopping : ) lol

I'm 5'4" and wore a size 2 - it was a bit long, which was special to have a bit a train behind me, but I was picking up up to go up and down the stairs. I also pinned the straps to make it a bit more snug around my back. This dress moves beautifully - felt like a little girl playing princess!

Fit great, hides all flaws. I should have rented a 4 LONG. The 4R was just a little too short for my taste (I am 5'8"), as you can see my toes and I had on my smallest heels. But I was sitting most of the time so it did not matter much. I would rent long next time and get a shoe heel to accommodate the length of the dress.

Fit is true to size. I'm 5'4, about 140 lbs, athletic build. Gorgeous and flowing. I did use some fashion tape to avoid to much exposure on the sides of my chest, but it didn't stick to the chiffon well. You should be fine without it, however, since after i removed the tape, there were no problems. Lots of compliments, very easy to wear, very comfortable. You will need a backless strapless bra, if you choose to wear one. I didn't. Loved it and would wear it again!

The dress fit true to size. It's very flow and comfortable. My friend and I wore similar dresses (had a theme going). I would rent again!

Beautiful flow and drape. Lots of props from the audience. I got the dress as a backup, since I thought it'd be a risky choice: normally I would never wear something that wouldn't allow a full bra. Amazingly pulled this off confidently with a DD cup Nubra, since the front drapes so elegantly and doesn't cling. I was even able to dance. The dress worked great with heels (I'm 5'8"). I was genuinely sad to send it back.

Con: Runs very large, so I added a ribbon belt because I felt my waist was so lost.(size 6 would've been perfect if it was available). Looks way better in person than in photos. Pro: Open back!! Very elegant and effortless dress. Length was perfect with heels. I wore slim booties and looked great.

This dress runs large, I am 5'7 and slender, with fairly voluptuous booty. I typically wear a size 2 in dresses(and even sometimes a 4 when I don't like the dress to hug too tightly around my booty/thighs) I tried the 0L on in the store, and it fit perfectly. I then ordered the 0L and 2L online but a day before the event they told me they don't have the 0L and sent me 2 other back up choices. I ended up wearing the 2L in this dress and it was just as beautiful but not as fitted as the 0L would have been. The back of the dress is completely open and so you cannot wear a bra, or it takes away form the beauty. I have a pretty small chest (34B) and did not wear a bra. I think you won't have to wear one i this dress b/c the front is pretty loose fitted and it is the style. Overall gorgeous, flow and comfortable dress.

Perfect fit. Very true to size. I wore 1" wedge sandals and the dress just skimmed the ground. It was the ideal length and very elegant.

Fit wonderfully and the open back is beautiful. There was a bit of "side-boob" that I had to deal with, but nothing too over the top. It was also a little too long for me and I was wearing 4 in heels.

The wedding was outside and it wasn't very warm (~65), but the dress is like wearing a soft fluffy duvet, so it was very comfortable during the ceremony. It's a little long for my 5'4" height, even with platform heels, so I had to hold it up while dancing. I used stylist tape from Victoria Secret to secure the sides to my body (keep the girls concealed), and it worked perfectly. I wore pasties as there is no easy way to wear a strapless bra with this low back. You will need nude undergarments or a slips as the white side is transparent. The dress is gorgeous, comfortable, and glamorous.

I fell in love with this dress as soon as I saw it on RTR and knew that I had to rent it. First off, the fabric is flowy and looks beautiful in person. The dress is just not flattering on. I tried on the size 0 first, my usual size, and although I am not that tall it was very short-waisted and the waistline hit really high which is not cute. The 2 fit a little bit better but still needs more of a defined waist. Also, the blousy top just makes you look heavy. The back is gorgeous though. Not my favorite RTR dress.

This dress is true to size. I didnt wear a bra and it was very confortable.

I wore this to a formal affair in the wintertime with red lipstick and felt stunning! The material is lightweight, soft and flowy (felt very high quality) the cross straps in the back were flirty but appropriate. I am typically a size 2, but it was unavailable so i wore a size 0. I was able to make it work and it still was comfortable and flattering but i would truly recommend trying to get your true size in this dress. I have a larger chest and found that wearing a Nubra was perfect under this dress.

For a black tie event this was a showstopper. I even won the award for most elegant dress! However, even though I am 5'6" the regular length was incredibly long and I had to wear my very highest 4" strappy heels. Even then, the skirts still skimmed the floor. I think I would have been more comfortable with the petite length even if that made shoes visible. Beautiful flowing fabric and a stunning open back. A true one off gown to wear just once.
