This is a fabulous dress. Unfortunately the only real picture I have is from the waist up. The side/bottom/back is what really makes it. The other two pictures were me trying the dress on when it came to the house, so not ready for the event. I wanted to show it from the side and back. The lace is beautiful. I had a NYE meltdown where my original dress did not look right on me and RTR sent me 2 dresses, overnight, including this one. I wore the other for NYE b/c I knew everyone would be in black (the other was red) but rented this again one week later for my company party. I'm just under 5'6 and wore 3 1/2 inch heels. The side pleat hit just above the ground. It's classy and sexy, without being over the top. It reminds me of a salsa or flamenco dress.

I'm a size 12 and I ordered the 12. The fit was true to size. It felt a bit snug at mid section but if you wear spandex, you will be more than comfortable! Most definitely wear strapless bra, trust me I'm size 38c and the bra didn't move or fall down, the dress held it in place. Recommend not too long of a chandelier earrings to avoid getting caught by the lace. Closed toe pumps with a pop color was definitely the way to go to enhance the beauty of the dress. For hair, I was inspired by the model in the renttherunway picture. I was very impressed with the overall fit from neck to knee and I received so many compliments especially with the side lace which was perfect for dancing movements :) Most definitely will rent again from rent the runway. Great fit overall. You definitely need to wear a strapless bra. I was a little worried about the bra peeking through the lace but the dress is cut perfectly to avoid this. It nips in at the waist to create a new hourglass silhouette. I wore nylons but left the spanx at home since the fabric did a nice job smoothing everything out. My one complaint was the odd seam on the hip opposite the drape. Not a huge con given the overall beauty of the dress.

The fit is true to size. The has stretch and is very comfortable. I love the side pleats. This dress does not have hanger appeal, but when it is put on it is very flattering and slimming! If you are shorter than 5'2", I would not recommend because the side pleats are a bit long and will drag on the floor if you do not wear ultra high heels.

I would say this dress runs only slightly large, because I am not usually a size 2. It is very fitted through the natural waist but still comfortable for me. It is very well made and the lace detail is beautiful- I would rent it again.

The dress was a little snug around my tummy area, but didn't looked tight. The bust area had plenty of room, this is typically a challenging fit area for me.

Great dress - not sure how an average height lady could wear this. I am 5'11" and the long part hit me similar to the model shown. Really long. I found the dress to run large - especially for Milly sizing. I am almost always an 8 and had more than enough room to spare. I was glad I ordered the 6 as my backup size. My measurements for reference are 34-28-37.

The dress fit very nice and comfortable.

This is a very beautiful and classy dress. I rented it for a formal event and was very happy with my choice. The second size choice which was smaller, would not have worked, so I was fine after the fact, that I didn't have a back-up. This is well and truly, true to size. I am quite broad in the shoulders, so I needed help with zipping it up. Once I was in, I was good to go. It moved well, the lace wasn't stiff, the sleeves were not tight, it had a very smooth silhouette. Thanks Spanx! I had no issues with the side lace while just walking, although you definitely want to hold it when going up stairs and getting in and out of a vehicle. I wore a heel comparable to what the model in the pic is wearing. I made a good choice. I can't wait for the next event to get another dress from RTR!

A bit tight on bust area but overall stunning

The pleating gives this dress a very unique look. Very glamorous. Perfect for a black-tie optional event. Runs large.

There are no cons to this dress at all. First of all, this is my first time renting from this site and what a great experience... I had been looking for a dress for a special party for weeks. I had bought and tried on a million (it seemed like) dresses and this was my final option. The dress came the day before the party so I had no choice but either wear it (good or bad) or find something blah in my closet. I have dresses from this designer and I was extremely concerned that it would be cut too small. I have an ample chest and hips and knew this dress had no stretch to help me if I needed it. I DIDN'T NEED IT. This dress fit like a glove. It was comfortable, eye catching, original, and sexy. I got sooooooo many compliments on this dress you wouldn't even believe. I was even told several times that evening from different ladies that if they could take the dress off me and wear it they would. I couldn't be happier with Rent the Runway. I couldn't be happier with the dress. I love it so much I may try to find a place where I can buy it. What are you waiting for RENT IT TODAY!!!!

goit this as backup so did not actually wear it out. as for fit, it was a ten and i can usually wear an 8 now so maybe it runs a little small. but it felt good and looks good. my main issue was that the long lacey drape was too long. i do a lot of ballroom dancing. i am 5'6 and generally go with 2 in heels and this lace would have been stepped on me and an/or anyone dancing near me unless i pinned it up.

The lace was course and a little stiff. The piece on the side was longer than I expected, if I hadn't packed heals, it would have been problematic, and I have long legs.

Beautiful dress and great fit! Perfect for a formal wedding.
