I rented this necklace for my wedding (with some trepidation, as I felt it might overwhelm my look or make "too much" of a statement). Friends I consulted also were politely unoptimistic when I showed them the photo. But the minute it arrived and i put it on, i knew that it was absolutely perfect - as another reviewer commented, it is more dainty than it appears in the photos and is the perfect length. I received compliments on it all evening and definitely felt that it pulled together the elegant wedding look I was going for. I did not experience any allergic or other side effects as the other reviewer noted --- just many gasps of "WHERE did you get that necklace??"
