This dress is a dream. Soft and cut to flatter. It runs pretty big, though. I'm normally a 20, but rented an 18 and it still fit a bit loose.

I have to admit this dress DOES make me want to go wade down in the water a bit, but it's just such a well-constructed piece that I think the details saved it. The tie at the waist is very flattering and I love the balloon sleeves. Would definitely recommend!

I love this dress and want to wear it everyday! Fits like a dream- no need to even unzip: just pop over, tie and go! I wore this for a weekend trip and loved it so much I toned it up a notch for work on a 90degree day. Love it.

I never thought I could feel so great wearing an all white dress. The cut of it it is so versatile and it has great pockets. The neckline is a nice v neck. The tie can be tied in front or back. It's kind of see through so I put on nude foundation pieces. Love this dress soo much !!!

In terms of size, this runs large-ish and is forgiving - I do usually wear a zero or a 2 (the latter if it’s tight in the hips, which this is not) but although there is no stretch, with the ties untied there is a ton of extra space, and then you can tie it in front as shown, or in back if you prefer to whatever snugness you want. I liked it in front as I found it too plain without the front bow. It’s a great, basic dress, covers you up but is cool - perfect for a spring vacation in a city which is what I got it for. Very flattering because the tie can be made snug to show off the waist - my bag is rumpling the dress on the side in my picture making it look lumpy but it is super flattering. Roomy pockets are a plus. Fabric is not super light, but the cut feels breezy and somewhat seasonless.

Mara Hoffman is here to stay in my wardrobe. This dress was so breathable and I got plenty of compliments. Although the model wears it with the straps tied in the front, I'm petite and ties it in the back to cinch my waist a little.

I brought this dress with me as a backup option on a trip to Palm Springs and I ended up wearing it three nights in a row! It was perfect for the evening when the desert was just starting to cool off. The tie detail at the waist was flattering, and at 5'6" the hem hit me at the perfect midi length.

Mara Hoffman does it again! I loved this dress. Definitely oversized, the sleeves are long and wide, and it was full length on me. But the pockets and tie detail are so fun.

I did really like this dress, but it made me think of Mormon undergarments. I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. It's just very plain. It fits as expected and the material is great for a baptism.

Yep - that is what my husband called me so I had to do the hair, too. As far as the dress it is pretty but a bit sister wife. It is comfortable and pretty good for hot weather. It seems like this is something you would wear if you needed to be modestly dressed.

Very comfortable but made me look large. The fabric is great but the shape of the dress is not very flattering.

I loved this dress. I wore it for a work event luncheon type of thing and got a ton of compliments on it. I ordered a size 6 bc it was the only one available but I think I could've worn a 4 but because of the tie in the front, the 6 wasn't an issue for me at all. I think the tie lets it be flexible in sizing if they're out of your size. I paired it with pink kitten heels and it worked perfectly. It was effortlessly chic and very comfortable. It's very flattering and a great length. It doesn't look quite right in flats but heels look fabulous with it. It also isn't sheer either which was a relief. The sleeves are a little tight where they cuff but that's my only complaint. It was a great dress and I'd totally wear it again.

I love this dress! This is my second Mara Hoffman dress and I'm in love. It's long and flowy and cool to beat the NYC heat. I'm usually between a 4/6 but only the 6 was available and is definitely big. I can cinch it at the waist so it's still fitting, but next time I'll get a 4. RTR - buy more Mara Hoffman things please!

Super cute but came completely wrinkled!!! Looked like it had been sitting on the floor for awhile.

This fit really nicely and was very comfortable. My only complaint was that it was a little too low cut in the front even though I am quite large chested.

This fit well and at 20 weeks pregnant I took my pre-pregnancy size. The tie sits nicely above the bump! Can be worn for casual days or summer nights.

I love this feminie dress by Mara Hoffman. Running true to size with no stretch, I recommend wearing your true size for your primary size and going down for your back-up. This style is fitted throughout the midsection with comfortable room at the hips. It works great for all cup sizes. You are not able to wear a standard bra with this dress so you should wear a NuBra or strapless bra since it has a low neckline. At 4’8”, the length hit floor length on me and was sadly too long for me. I really wanted to love this dress, however, I found the bell sleeves to be overwhelming for my petite frame. The material is somewhat sheer so I highly recommend wearing a nude slip underneath. Overall this is a great summer look! Pair with wedges and a layered necklace to complete your outfit.

I absolutely LOVE this dress! I rented it for a warm weather vacation. It is extremely well-made and very flattering because of the tie in the back. I have a large chest (34F) and it wasn't too low-cut. I am normally a 6-8 and normally find that Mara Hoffman runs small, but this dress actually runs a touch large - the 6 fit me with a little room to spare. As other reviewers have noted, it is somewhat sheer, but that doesn't bother me because I will be wearing it over a swimsuit. Love this dress!

loved the pockets, the deep neckline and the belt to tighten the waist.

I sized up, because I adored the way this dress looked and wanted to try it (wasn't available in my size). Sizing up wasn't smart, it looked voluminous! It's fairly long, but really fun to style. The neckline is lovely, makes all the difference

Super cute for summer/spring. Only complaint was that it wasn't the most flattering. Kinda made my lower half look large.

Very stylish, but definitely requires either a slip or another layer underneath if you aren't keen on your underwear showing through this dress.

I was super excited to take this on vacation. The pics and reviews online looked great. I, however, looked like a pilgrim in this dress; it was frumpy and unflattering. I should have sized down, but I'm not sure that would have solved all.

I could have worn it but it was just a lot of white fabric. Looked too cultish and not flattering. Also it arrived really wrinkled and it seamed like Way to much work to iron/steam for a dress I wasn't excited about. Fits true to size though!

My husband thought I looked like a Laura Ingalls Wilder cosplayer, but I loved the fit and the style. Unfortunately it's pretty sheer (outline of the pocket and undies and the bra and or the slip sheer), and the V hit a little too low for my current slip. I loved it but didn't love it enough to buy a whole new slip just to wear it out of the house.

I didn't like the fit of this dress. I'm 5'4" so maybe I was too short since it hit me below tea length and not ankle length. I also didn't think it was very flattering.

I'm a petite (5'2), so it looks like a maxi dress on me. Also the balloon sleeve looks a bit exagerrated. 3 star for the nice fabric

Great fit and dress, rented for everyday wear and it was a bit sheer. If I were going on holiday I would totally rent again and pair with a beautiful swimsuit!

Dress had ill fitting collar, it was see through and the fabric was very stuffy.
