I probably should've paired it with a different set of shoes. Something about it felt awkward. It was incredibly comfortable and I loved the color as well. I am wondering if I actually should have sized down. That might have made the difference for me.

I'd keep if it wasn't still so $$ even though it's been around for more than a season. I'm 5'2 and barefoot as pictured - while long, it's elegant and slimming when paired w an oversized blazer. The armpits are a little big as others mentioned but given the fabric I can't really imagine wearing this except in fall/winter. Would wear to work, too.

I love (almost) everything about this dress. It feels and looks very posh. I brought it with me to France and wore it twice, once for daytime once for night, and I think it worked either way. Paired it with a denim jacket and mules for the chillier night. The only negatives, as other reviewers have said, is that the arm holes are very large so wearing a normal bra can be tricky. I also found the length to be just slightly odd, but it didn't bother me too much. I'm shorter (5'3") so would be more normal on a taller person.

From the other reviews, I was worried about the large armholes (so I ordered a size down as backup) and that the dress would be missing a belt. The size down was perfect- no bra showing whatsoever with my multi-way crossed back straps. And not only did the dress come with a belt, but RTR sent an extra one with it as well!

Stretches out a bit, and the belt can look sloppy, but I would love to own this one. Great winter white. Not really warm, but beautiful.

Wore this to my bridal shower, felt so comfortable and got a ton of compliments. This dress is well made, structured, classic but also unique. Highly recommend!

Fit was a little loose but I ordered up. Very flattering. The only thing that bugged me about this dress was the sides are cut really narrow so whatever bra you are wearing is going to show.

A friend said I had "Diane Keaton vibes in the best way". Another said it was "tres chic". This dress was so comfortable, and I felt so glam in it. I wore it 3X, including to a photo shoot for a local magazine profile. Rented in the midst of 16° NYC weather and wore it with heat tech leggings underneath, you couldn't even tell I was warm AND chic! Thanks RTR!

I wore this dress for Christmas Day. Very high quality, heavy sweater material that makes it appropriate for colder weather despite being sleeveless. I was thrilled to be able to wear this longer dress dress despite being very short -- note I did wear high boots to make it do-able though. Endless compliments!

Rented this just because but took it on vacation. Enjoyed the mod belt detail and overall flattering cut. Not for warm weather though...hence, pictured here by the ice machine.

This is a great dress. It's a sweater dress but skims the body nicely. Great turtleneck and the armholes are not too low and hide bra straps. The dress did NOT come with the pictures belt but I wore it with a vintage Pringle cashmere beaded sweater and my own belt. The length and fit and feel of this dress are lush, elegant and it has pockets! Swoon! Top 5 rentals so far.

Loved this dress! Looked great and was perfect to dress up or dress down. My only issue is that it came without the belt that the model is wearing so I had to scramble to make that work.

For starters, this stress is definitely more cream-colored then it appears in the photo...I would even go as far is it to say it's Oatmeal colored. I will admit the dress was a touch risky for the workplace due to the wide armholes and slightly high slit in the center, but the length and overall nature of the dress is conservative so I went for it and it paid off (with compliments)! The weight of the knit is very flattering and gives the body a very smooth line. Like others have mentioned, the belt was missing from my dress so pack an extra if you are traveling.

Comfortable and super easy to wear! Because it's winter, I paired it with a black thin turtleneck underneath which also helped with the very slightly large arm holes. I chose black stockings and sock booties, but easily could've done my black cowboy boots for a little extra! They didn't send me a belt so I wore my own and loved the look!

Very cute for the holidays but was expecting a bit more from this dress. The XS was not as tight as I expected.

Looked very sharp and wasn't too long with heels (I'm 5'5). Agree with other reviews that the arm holes were a bit large, but wore with a cute bra and it was fine. A Small likely would have been better but sadly wasn't available. For context, I'm typically a Small in tops (4-6) and Medium in bottoms (6-8).

Favorite rental to date, and will absolutely rent again!! Wore 3 times: once to work, once to a conference, once to a family event. Felt like a fall/winter goddess each and every time. Paired with my own black Gucci belt (instead of provided cream fabric belt), black over thigh suede boots (perfect for knee length front slit), black spandex slip underneath (smooth everything out & provide coverage at Large arm openings), and gold vintage Chanel jewelry. Can't wait to rent again!!

Beautiful beautiful dress! I switched out the belt it came with for a brown leather belt, but is gorgeous regardless. Runs long - had to wear with pumps - but I think that's what makes it so stunning. Definitely not for shorter ladies.

Flattering dress that wears like a jumpsuit. Easy to wear and will be a great transitional outfit from summer to fall. Even on a 100 degree day, this outfit did not feel too heavy or warm. Felt very chic. The one negative is the armholes are large so I wore a camisole underneath. Next time I rent, I will go down a size.

This is a nice cotton knit dress with great styling belt and awesome slit. I thought it was a jumpsuit, but the slit long skirt makes it even better.

The dress fits great. It is very comfortable. The only thing to be careful about is the arm holes are a little large, so I could not wear a regular bra with it. I switched to a strapless, which was much better, but still showed a little bit. I did wear a cardigan with it so it was fine! Loved this dress!

Wore this around Boston. I was physically stopped by several people commenting on how good I looked and got a number of other comments through the day. I wore it with flats as a casual outfit. One drawback was that the arm holes are too large for me. If they were my size or I thought it was an easy fix I would have bought this dress.

Got a ton of compliments on this one. Didn't love the placement of the slit (kind of awkward), but overall a good dress. The fabric stretches so you can bank on it fitting well (enough) for whatever event you've got.

I would say the dress runs large, but I mistakenly ordered the large when i'm a medium. Aside from being a bit big (my bad) it totally comfortable. Will prob order again.

A little bit big toward bottom

Ordered the wrong size. Should have rented either the LR or M. XLR was way too big in the arm holes and even with a belt couldn't be made to look like it fit. The material is heavy sweater material and stretches down with the weight of gravity as you wear it.

Loved this dress. Great fabric and fun cut, but the size I got was way too big. Hoping I can still rent it in a smaller size some time.

The arm holes were pretty large and revealed too much side boob for me to wear without a jacket. Cute fit- did not accentuate big hips as many woven/knit dresses can. Wore with a leather jacket.

The dress is cute and style as expected. Note it's a bit darker than the photos from RTR, not ivory but more like an oatmeal. It seemed a little used, but still wearable.
