I have zero complaints about this dress. I wasn’t prepared for it to be so comfortable! It does run true to size with no real give in the waist, so do order according to your waist size. It was a HUGE hit with everyone all day. I felt beautifully sexy all day. Perfect dress for a perfect day.

So comfortable, chic and simple but stands out. I have a bigger back side and i am 5'4" so it doesnt fit as a straight dress, a little more form fitting but it looks great ghis way. The dress came with a tag on it so seems brand new, but unfortunately the dress came with a giant fold smudge across the lap of the dress where it was folded in the bad. Rented with unlimited i may go get it dry cleaned because i want to keep it a little longer!

Perfect fit only issue is it cut a little low.

I saw pictures of people with this off-the-shoulder as well as a few wearing it like normal sleeves and I wasn't sure how secure the sleeves are when up on the shoulders but I can confirm that they do completely stay up that way. I rented a 4 which was what was available, although I'm usually more like a 0 or 2 in dresses, and here is what I would say about that. The column shape from bust to hem is very straight and I found it actually to be quite narrow - it was a little snug in the hips so a 2 would have probably been ok but I fear a 0 would have been too snug. For wearing on the shoulders, the fit up top was fine, although it was just a little wide at the neckline - I wore a regular black bra and used a little tape on one side to keep the bra strap from showing (basically taped the dress to the strap). If I had wanted to wear it off-the-shoulder though, I would have needed a smaller size - it was not tight enough around the top of the bust to have stayed on that way. The length was long, hit a bit above the ankle on me, looked great in heels, was sort of casual/cool with white sneakers but best as a funky dressy look with a heel. Really great, unique design, bold pattern. I find linen to be a rather heavy fabric so it's a nice option for being dressed up that is a little warmer. This would be an amazing dress to own because it's so versatile - the off-shoulder look is more formal, and with the sleeves up it works for a cocktail or dressy work event.

I am very pear shaped. My shoulders are very small and narrow and my hips are pretty wide. The size 8 was way too big on top and the hips were pretty snug. Luckily, I live in San Francisco and wore this to an evening wedding that was partially outdoors, so keeping my leather jacket on was less of a choice and more of a necessity. The weather was certainly in my favor even if the dress proportions + my body shape were not. I still received many compliments and no one realized that if I took my jacket off the top half of the dress would fall off my body.

The dress is fantastic and super unique. Great for curvy women and fits like a glove. So comfortable and people were raving all night. Would love to own this dress! I did need to wear a strapless bra but otherwise, perfection.

classic black and white but so interesting with the oversized polka dots. sleeves can be worn on the shoulder or off. wore with oversized gold hoops and hair pulled back. will definitely rent this again - led it so much!

This dress was the perfect balance between dressy and casual. It was so really comfortable to wear but you have to size way down. I'm normally a 4 but have really broad shoulders, so I was afraid the 4 would be tight. Not the case, it was in fact so big that I taped the dress to my body...back, front, and arms! It held up but I'll size down next time. I'll for sure rent this again! Got compliments all night!

I LOVE THIS DRESS!! I totally didn't expect to at all but it was amazing! I found it at the rtr store in NYC for last min paris outfits and I tried it on omg STUNNA. Just fab. Sexy but classy. Risky but safe! It's just unexpectedly HOT. Take a risk and try this gem

It's soooo beautiful. I wish I could've kept this. I'm straight and narrow, so the dress worked perfectly on my tall thin frame. The sleeves were so cool. And strangers on the streets of NYC stopped me to say how cool the dress was!

I wore this dress to a black tie preferred wedding. I have never received so many compliments on a dress! It fit perfectly and was so comfortable. The print is so fun and stands out. Length was perfect. Wish I could buy to wear again!!

I love this edgy dress by Mara Hoffman! Running true to size with no stretch, I recommend wearing your true size, a size up for your primary size and going up for your back up. This style is roomy throughout the midsection and loose at the hips. It works best for all cup sizes. You are not able to wear a standard bra with this dress so you should wear a strapless bra, nubra or no bra since the dress is off the shoulder. At 5"3, the length hit right on my ankles. The pattern of this dress caught my eye and I couldn't resit. Pair with heels and simple pair of earrings to complete your outfit!

This dress is very quirky and unique- you have to be willing to take a fashion risk, but it is surprisingly flattering- hugs your curves in just the right way. I preferred it off the shoulder and styled it with a colorful earring. Definitely worth a try!

After initially receiving a more worn version of this dress, I returned it and tried again. I was luckier the second time around and enjoyed wearing this style. I tend to hate sleeves that restrict my range of motion but didn't mind these! Great for dinner since it's a little roomy in the mid section :)

I wore this to an art show opening. I received compliments on it all night. It is a really fun dress. It is not super flattering, but not unflattering either. I don't think it photographs well. Also, I met a spotted dog the same night and we looked like twins.

This dress was nothing like I've worn before and I had a great time in it. You can wear the sleeves either on your shoulder or off Iike I did in the picture. It not ideal for pear shapes like me since it's cut straight and narrow but overall I loved the fabric and it was fun to wear!

Whilst the pattern is quite on trend the cut was not very flattering. I also couldn't wear the arms off my shoulders because they drooped too much. Luckily you can wear them on your shoulders and it gives you a stylish square neck cut. It's made of a nice linen but could wrinkle if you wore all day. I just wore it to a dinner event with a jean jacket and low heeled ankle strap black pumps. I imagine I could have gone another size down and the off shoulders would've fit and there would've been less room in the dress but I fear that it would be too tight in the hips.

This dress has been my favorite in such a looooong time. Wore it several times: on a couple of dates, a concert, a birthday dinner. Super comfortable to wear, it's roomy without being loose -- the perfect fit. The sleeves were a little weird, probably from the constant wear, they wouldn't stay up -- dress looks better with the sleeves down anyway so it didn't matter at all. Would definitely try to buy this one.

Rented for a wedding. Super comfy I'm bwt a 4-6 and the 8 fit. The 6 prolly would fit better in the chest area , the sleeves kept falling down.

Can be dressed up or down - sleeves up or down. Very comfortable breathable material. Bold modern pattern draws a lot of attention

So flattering - fitted at cheat, falls loosely over hips and hits a little above the ankle. Constant compliments.

Loved it. Received a million compliments. I'd say overall runs a bit big. I'm glad I didnt size up. Arrived wrinkled and they never released but the print hides it well enough. Short girls will need heels to look proportional. If I remain with unlimited, I'll rent again.

A bit stretched out in the should area I suspect from many times being worn but it still looked good. This fabric does not press well or stay wrinkle free.

I received so many compliments on this dress! It was really striking and dressed it up with some black kitten heels. The only downside is that the material wrinkles very easily and had to steam it at least twice before the big event. Otherwise, this was a great dress for the evening - you can either wear the sleeves up or hanging down. Both are great looks!

I rented this dress because it was unique and I love to take fashion risks. I rented the 12, I read the reviews and looked at the ones that were around my size and although they all said this dress was not for someone that was more pear shaped, I thought, I'll try it. I bet it will work. Nope. The top potion of the dress was large on me and the sleeves were heavy and kept pulling the back of the dress down. The hip area was too tight and looked awkward on me. Not for someone with hips, need to be straight all the way down. Very sad, bc this dress would have been exactly what I was looking for!!

It is a very straight fit so if you have a pear shape this isn't for you. The top fit fine but the bottom was very tight. This brand overall runs very small from my experience. It is still beautiful.
