I rented this to wear for a night out in Savannah on a bachelorette trip on Cinco de Mayo and it couldn't have been more perfect. People complimented me all night and it was SO comfortable. It done run a tad big, so I would suggest sizing down as a backup. It also is a little sheer, so with the one shoulder you have to mindful of the bra you wear. But 10/10 would recommend!!

So comfortable. It's big up top tho so I had to pin it so my bra didn't show. Think I might buy this as a summer staple!

Rented this for a vacation in Mexico. I loved the color and concept of this dress but it wasn’t particularly flattering on my petite frame. The material was also heavier than expected making it a little hot. Overall I am glad I rented as a fun dinner dress but wouldn’t recommend this as a SOLO rental for petites.

Weird to say, but I felt like a chic monk in this dress. The color is great for Spring/Summer and the button details on the side make this oversized fit feel cool & sophisticated. I paired it with a black leather jacket and it looked great! Also, you can eat as much as you want in this dress. Always a win. ;)

I had to rent the 10R since the 8R was not available. It was a tad roomy but still worked. I wore with gold flat sandals to a casual end of summer wedding. It was so comfy but I still felt dressy. I have 36DDD bust and felt comfortable in a strapless bra. Def recommend!!

this dress was a showstopper at a wine country wedding! Fits true to Mara Hoffman sizing. Make sure undergarments are nude because it is a bit sheer. Would rent again in a heartbeat!

I loved this dress and definitely would of kept it in my collection if I could. I wore it out to an engagement celebration dinner of friends my last night in Aruba. The yellow was vibrant, fabric was light, and the one shoulder with side buttons gave it a little edge. Please note it runs large though. I wore high heels and a signature necklace turned to the back to balance all of this look.

for a summer backyard wedding, this dress has everything I wanted: comfy breathable fabric, loose airy fit, bright pop of color. I loved it so much I wore it again for dinner the next night. The 0 fit well with a bit of room to spare on me. length was like a maxi dress. a few minor issues: fabric is naturally crinkly and wrinkled a bit, and by the time I rented this, some of the top buttons were starting to get loose. nonetheless, a really great rental!

I have never worn this color before, and I will seek it out now. The textile was soft, forgiving, breathable on a humid 85 degree day, and when I pulled it out of the bag it needed next to no steaming- Which would make it perfect for packing in a suitcase for vacation. I am 5'3ish and about 125lbs, the 4R came to a little lower than mid shin so it is a little longer than it looks on the model (which i liked). I wish I could buy it.

Gorgeous, loose fitting dress. It is supposed to be loose fitting around your midsection, so I thought it might be in the "man-repeller" category, but to my surprise my husband absolutely loved it. Easy to accessorize with black heels and jewelry. Even though it is loose fitting, don't size down too much because it gets tighter around your legs and you won't be able to walk as easily. Also, great for tall girls like me, but may be an awkward length if you are shorter.

So cute! Bags put a little through the day, so a size down is ideal! Love it, dreamy.

I adored this dress. Mara Hoffman is one of my favorite designers and this worked great for a bridal luncheon. Great gauzy fabric. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it was a bit tight through the hips--I'm pretty hourglass shaped.

Such a unique piece, I had to buy it. My girlfriends loved it also. It's more of a baggy loose fit.

Normally I wear a 12 but got the dress in a 10. It did gather a bit in my hips but I was able to pull it off . I love the option the dress gave me to either be casual or dress it up.

This dress actually surprised me! At first glance I wasn't sure if I would be a major fan but this edgy, bright dress by Mara Hoffman definitely grabs all of the attention. The dress is overall a little large so I would definitely advise sizing down for back up but your primary size should do the trick! The dress is pretty loose all around and works best for all cup sizes. Due to the one shoulder, I would advise wearing a strapless, nubra or no bra overall. At 5'6 and a half it hits right at my ankles. Since the dress does so much on its own, I would definitely recommend pairing with a bracelet or small accessory to dress it up or some sandals to dress it down for a more casual, everyday look!

I made the mistake of renting this when it was way too cold out. This dress is meant to be worn with sandals and not much else, but there I was trying to make it warmer with tights and ankle boots. Fail. Plus my black strapless bra showed through the sheer fabric and if I didn't wear a bra, it was very obvious (as you can prob see in my pic). I didn't wear it out but maybe I'd try this dress again in the summer with lighter undergarments. It also wasn't very flattering though (for my 5'4 height or for my tummy).

this is definitely not appropriate for a cocktail event. the fabric is gauzy/cotton and is very casual as is the fit. I thought i could dress it up, but it just wouldnt work for me. the color is beautiful and it is of course wonderful quality with a very subtle, embossed sort of pattern in the fabric. i would have liked a 0, but the 2 was ok for a more casual look. I ended up wearing it the next day for breakfast. lovely dress but not easily dressed up.

At my height it was a little above the ankles. My stride was restricted but I'm sure if you unbutton a button at the bottom it'll be better to walk in. The dress is textured like crepe material but thicker. It is very yellow . I did not like the length on me or the shape on my athletic body - will work for others, just not for me - so I wore it to school lol

Rented this dress for a Mexican vacation and loved it for a night out. Long enough for some nice coverage and light enough for the warm weather. I did size up while 20 weeks pregnant and though it was slightly tight in the bust (where I've grown the most outside the baby bump), it fir great. Love the bright color.

I absolutely loved this dress for a beach vacation! It was super comfortable and breezy. The color was just as bright and beautiful in person and I got a ton of compliments.

Rented for a beach vacation. It's sort of a sack-like look but because it fit well up top (meaning there wasn't gaping around neck or sleeve) it feels fashion v sloppy. It's super wrinkly but could probably work for cocktail event too.

Wish I snapped a photo - it's effortless and chic, the sleeve is super billowy so you have to be ok in a statement piece. A little bit see through but fine with the right undergarments including a strapless bra. Loved this!

I usually teeter between a 10-12, but based off the reviews saying it got tight in the middle (which is my problem area) I went with my larger size. This was PERFECT for the beach. I belted it and made it billowy on top but still gave me shape. I got tons of compliments when I paired this with turquoise drop earrings. Will definitely rent again. Mara Hoffman is the ultimate vacation brand!

Great day to night item that can be worn with flat sandals or wedges. Buttons can be undone on sides to show as much leg as you want.
