One of my favorite ever rentals- amazing high quality silk fabric, cutout in the back is elegant and sexy. Incredible colors and patterns.

I wore this dress to a welcome party during a wedding weekend ("Casual Chic" attire), and got several compliments. I'm 5'7.5" and the size 4 was not long enough for heels, but I wore it to a casual event with sandals and it was fine. The print is lovely and vibrant!

I chose this dress months ago for my birthday weekend; true to size with a side zipper. Fabric does not stretch but it is well made, lined and lower back cut out huge body nicely. I am 5'2 with flats and was fine with the 8R. The back cut out is modest and below bra band so that's covered. Recommend !

This dress nails the work to play aesthetic. It made my little 5’4 frame look tall, and the print is FANTASTIC. Thanks to the thigh high slits, I had full range of motion to pull a wagon for our evening walk. It’s fun, comfortable, and gorgeous dress. Wearability: Work: 4/10: Modest neckline, but watch who you sit beside at the meeting table. The slits are pretty high. Also has an open back, so I wore a jacket to cover it. Kids: 6/10: I didn’t feel like I had to get changed to mom. That’s a win. Date: 7/10: Sure! Super cute and unexpected. Girl date: 8/10 The only thing that could make this dress more girl friendly is if it had pockets!

I loved the unique pattern of this dress!! Some reviews said this ran small but I found it to be true to size. The fabric has very little give so if you're between sizes, go a size up. Additionally, because the fabric has so little give, if you're large in the bust and/or hips, this may not work for you. The side vents made this easy to walk in. This could easily be dressed up, but I wore it with flats for a casual date night.

I loved this dress! It fit so comfortably and I felt amazing. I wore flat sandals with it and it was just right. I didn't need to wear a bra with the dress since it fit so snuggly. I would definitely rent this dress again!

This dress was so gorgeous and comfortable! It doesn't have any "give" but it was true to size (I typically wear a 4 and the 4 fit me perfectly). It was super comfortable and got a lot of compliments.

I could not be more obsessed! This Mara Hoffman dress is so glamorous and bold, it initially makes a statement. I personally am I size 0 or 2 depending on the style of the dress and the 2 fit me perfectly. However from reading the customer reviews below, this dress does run small as well as true to size depending on your figure. Therefore for backup, we recommend sizing up and if you’re curvier or have a fuller bust to size up for your primary size as well. It is fitted at the waist, hip and bust and with the fabric having no stretch, no bra necessarily needs to be worn. Dress it down or dress it up with black accessories for it to be worn to any event or for your everyday look!

Glamorous yet casual, complete strangers on the street were coming up to me and complimenting my dress about once an hour! I generally stay away from maxis because I think they wash out my figure, but this dress is fitted to the waist which I really liked. I followed recommendations to size up, so a 6 worked perfectly although I would usually wear a 4.

I loved this dress. I rented it for my birthday. I wanted to get a size 10 and eight because I am curvy girl but the largest size was a 8. I got the dress and if fit perfectly. I received so many compliments in person and via social media. The material was get for a nice summer day. The back has a really cute cut out as well. My only compliant is that I had to return it. I loved this dress. I would rent and purchase from this designer again.

Pretty, colorful dress. The slits made it easy to walk in, but it was freezing cold when the wind came up. Overall, the fit and length were good, and the quality was nice. I got the 4 so that I wouldn't have to worry about it being too tight in the chest, and the top ended up fitting perfectly.

Classy yet fun for a Halloween inspired wedding. Played with the geometric shapes and added some Mondrian make up. My only complaint was it didn't have much give, was a little tight/uncomfortable in the middle area.

The print and back of this dress were so much fun! I wore it to an outdoor, casual wedding and felt great. I'm typically a 6 or 8 and was glad I ordered the 8. Could've been dressed up but I wore flats and a jean jacket. Rent it!

I didn't have much planned for my birthday, since it fell on a Sunday this year, but was still able to wear this beautiful maxi dress to brunch. The pattern and colors are stunning. The length was perfect on my 5'3" frame and I simply wore sandals with no heal to them. The open back is not so open that you can't wear a strapless bra with it. I had no difficulty with the strapless bra staying hidden. You do have to put this dress on over your head and there is a size zipper that I was afraid I wouldn't be able to zip up all the way; however, I have historically had issues with my rib cage apparently being broader than average (or something). There is no give or stretch built in to this dress. The reason why this dress gets one star knocked off is because it is cut pretty narrowly around your arms, meaning I felt like at times I had a little of that armpit fat showing. All in all, great rental.

Fit was exactly to size, although I thought it was a bit less flattering on me, since I have wider hips than the model (duh). Due to the cutouts and overall shape of the dress, I was not able to wear a bra or spanx, so factor that in when you're deciding. The back cutout is too high to accommodate a strapless bra without safety pinning it in place. Be aware the dress is very easily wrinkled and may come wrinkled in the bag. A good steam/iron will clear that right up.

I ordered both the 4 and the 6 - the 4 probably could have worked, but the 6 just had a little more room for me in the hips/ mid section. I am 130lbs, 5'6, small chest. The dress was so fun for a gorgeous fall mountain wedding out West. Easy to dance in and photographs very well too! I paired it with a burnt orange pashmina for when it got colder.

Fits true to size, was a little tight at the chest for my my D+ bust but worked as the cut dosen't really allow for a bra. Perfect lenght too even though I am only 5'4 could wear with flats.

I found this dress fit true to size. I am 5'5" and wore it with flats. The pattern is beautiful, fun and unexpected. It's better in person than it appears online. There is a large cutout in the back.

Another amazing rental from Mara Hoffman. This dress has a unique pattern. It can be dressed up or down. I wore it to happy hour with a friend, and then to a sporting event with a leather jacket and flats. The fit was perfect and the dress was not too long to wear with flats.

Fit was good. I was able to wear support, even with the open back. I had to wear a wedge shoe due to length, but I prefer that.

This is really cute. I love the pattern and I just need another size. I have a big butt, so in the 2, I could zip it up, but sitting would not happen. I'm 5'5 and I would say that is the max height for this dress. I would need to wear flats.

Loved this dress - I didn't need to wear a bra, which was nice. It was comfortable and easy to wear, but the slits on each side of the dress are *very* high for my taste. When sitting they would practically be at my butt. I rented this for a concert, but also wanted to wear it to work the day of the concert to get max use of it and eliminate changing times in between... I was SUPER uncomfortable at work all day due to the slits on either side. I would recommend not renting this for work, but just for events.
