I freaking love this. So different and pretty. I needed a petite size because regular was way too long (I'm 5'2)

I wore this dress several times - out to dinner, on vacation, to a birthday party . . . I couldn't get enough! I styled with the to button both clasped and open and liked it both ways.

Ahhh freedom!! That is how I felt in this high quality jumpsuit with the adjustable wrap ties. A little heavy on the weight of the fabric added to my impression of the overall quality. The length was perfect with gold sneakers, and it moved like a chic evening dress. I wore it to a party honoring a special Democrat in my community and felt funky yet supportive. I see others have worn it for July 4- Perfect!!

I love love LOVED this dress! The print is beautiful and the fit it great, and slightly adjustable with the way the bust area ties, which is great. I was just starting to show at 14 weeks pregnant when I wore this and I could have definitely gone up one size to have a little more room in the belly area but it fit great nonetheless, I just had to watch the buttons carefully so one didn't come open. Overall this is an amazing maxi dress. Newly pregnant or not, this is a great rental!

This dress is absolutely gorgeous! The material is heavier than it looks in pictures, but I was still able to comfortably wear it to an outdoor wedding in Palm Springs (temp = 105 degrees). The bust and arms have a loose fit, but the rib cage area has zero give whatsoever. I couldn't get the top button buttoned to save my life, even though the dress fit perfectly everywhere else. I ended up tucking the top button back into itself on each side to create a little triangle cut out of skin, which was super cute. I actually liked that look better! If you don't want to end up going that route, I'd suggest sizing up, although I think if I had sized up the bust would have been way too big. I didn't need to wear a bra or nipple covers with this dress. I ordered a regular length so that I could wear it with flat sandals and the material just grazed the ground. If I had wanted to wear heels, I would have needed more length. I'm 5'6 with an athletic build.

I love this dress!!! I was concerned the pattern was too busy but it's really nice in person. Has some navy and mauve colors that are hard to see in pictures. Love the fit, I wanna buy it!

I had to wear a belt so I could "hem" it st the waist. I am 5ft so was crazy long but outside of that, loved it! The tie in center is a wrap so can play with how much if any of your stomach shows. Is low cut but you could wear a bra.

This is a great dress. I wore it to a bridal shower and it was so comfortable! Very flattering as well. My one complaint would be that one of the buttons tends to keep unbuttoning which may be in result of multi-use (the button-hole is stretched out). Other than this, great rental!

BEAUTIFUL! It's looks exactly like the picture except you can unbottom the bottom to show a little leg. The only tip I have is to size up. there is NO give in the rib cage, and yet, if you need to tighten it, you can do so with the ties. It is heavy fabric, which I LOVED and there is so much chest and leg showing that you don't feel hot.

True to size and very flattering. Definitely needed an adhesive bra, and was rather long, but other than that it was perfect. Wore it for a couple of shows, was easy to move around in and both dressy and casual enough to pull off on stage with a group of guys!

I rented this dress for a girls trip to Vegas. I'm 20 weeks pregnant and my normal size is a 6 and the 8 fit. Not very much stretch and a bit wrinkly but I loved the way it looked on! If you're expecting I suggest sizing up. I did not wear a bra but you can wear a sticky bra if you like. The buttons are great because you can choose how much leg you want to show.

I have never till now found a maxi length dress I loved. This dress fit perfect. Made me look like I had a bigger chest than I do and hid the stomach. I liked the cut out in front. I didn't get to wear it out as it was a bit dressier than what I was looking for for the night but will definitely be renting it again. The one thing I worried about was the few buttons I had to do on top seemed not quite secure in staying closed, so wondering if they would have held if I wore it all night. Oh and I'm 5'10" and the length still made it to my ankles.

Amazing dress, great fit, no complaints!

I wore this for the 4th of July, and thought the pattern went really well with the theme. The middle even has a reddish tint. I liked the fit and style and the tie top made it easily fit. The only issue I had was that some of the middle buttons would come undone pretty easily without me noticing right away.

My friend and I rented this dress for the Fourth of July! We were definitely the hit of the party :) The dress does fit tight around the rib cage (as past reviews has said) but you can always size up and wrap the tie part around as many time as you need to. The fabric is on the heavy side - something to be aware of. But it was perfect for when the sun went down. Love it!

I loved this dress. I wore it to a casual birthday dinner with my family and got a ton of compliments! There isn't much stretch to the fabric in the torso area, but the top part of the dress is very roomy. I'm 5'7 and wore it with flats and it was the perfect length.

This dress is beautiful. The size 4 was a little big on me but with the tie around the middle made it adjustable. The neckline was sexy but not too low. I was able to wear a regular bra. I wore 4 inch heels and the length was perfect. The fabric was slightly heavy but it had a nice flow. I got so many compliments and I will definitely rent this one again.

I'm not the red white and blue bikini type of girl on holidays but this dress for the 4th was a perfect way to be festive and not over the top! I wore it for work and a BBQ to kick off the holiday weekend and got compliments all day. It really elongates your body and is slimming. It is also very comfortable and you can always loosen the tie if you eat a little too much! The dress is very different and would be great for many types of events, not just the Summer holidays! The buttons up the front make it versatile giving you the option to show a little leg at a party or be buttoned all the way up for work!

fit true to size. length good with small or higher heel. can be made more casual with tank underneath or worn without item underneath for some deep V and some skin. I wore it for daytime and out at night without a tank underneath. A lot of material and can be a bit heavy- but definitely a unique and beautiful dress

Fit was great, low cut but I'm smaller chested.

the super low plunge in the front is sexy, but not too much. I was still able to wear it to work with a very low plunge bra. The fabric is fast and it is very tight at the waist so everyone kept telling me how flattering the fit of this dress was. Fits pretty true to size

Cuts low. Wore with and without something underneath depending on mood. Edges dragged a bit on ground bc I wore flats. Overall fun weekend dress. Size 4 just fits someone with a size 34 cup.

This dress was so fun! It's hard to wear a bra and definitely shows your chest so just be prepared for that. The material was a little heavier than I expected, but still comfy.

I'm 5 1/2 months pregnant so the fit was a little snug on me around the waist, but if I didn't have my bump the fit would be perfect. Roomy boob area, but even if you don't fill it out it lays nicely. Overall I really loved this dress! It made me feel glam but still appropriate for work. My husband really loved it too, which made it even better! Btw, I wore flat sandals and the length was only a touch too long. Got away wearing it without stepping on it, and I'm not very tall!

This dress is snug, but it has to be to lay properly at the bottom. Very unique and well made. It's hard to tell in the pictures and descriptions, but the dress is fully lined. Would definitely rent again.

This dress was perfect for an outdoor event in the spring. I was covered enough to avoid a draft, but the material was light enough that I wasn't sweating (70 degrees). I had to wear 5in wedges in order to keep the dress from dragging (I'm 5'5") and it was small in the bodice (size up), but as long as you're fine with heels and going up a size, it's awesome. I received many compliments and enjoyed the fun print.

Such a cute dress ! I definitely needed a size 6... I ordered the 4 thinking it would be loose up top but it actually buttons snugly all the way up to the bust. The top two buttons were pulling on me but I could get away with it because I had the bow tied right in front of them.

I've been trying to rent this dress for two years and finally lucked out that it was available! After careful review of so many of your helpful reviews, thank you! I am 5'2 and rented a 4R and it was the absolute perfect length. You could tell it has been very well loved, but nothing that made it undesirable. As others have mentioned, the first button is super tight around the rib cage, the buttons can open randomly (so keep an eye on them!) and the bust is large. I am a 32 DD and it fit great, but I still didn't feel comfortable showing them off so wore a bralette. Also, the belt kept coming untied and I almost tripped over it like 10 x's! Lol! Super cute and lots of compliments at my sons 7th Gaming Party!

I wore this with a pair of ankle wrap flats. At 5'8" it was easy to walk around in this in flats, but I lifted for stairs etc. The material is pretty light and relatively breathable so I was very comfortable and had so much fun dancing in this dress. I'm much smaller in my waist than my hips...tend to wear a 6-8 in jeans, 2-4 in fit and flare dresses like this, and 4 for tops/jackets/blazers. I'm a 34D and didn't feel busty in this at all. There was enough flexibility with the ties under the bust that I didn't have any visible skin where others may have styled this dress for more of a cut out effect. Only reason it's 4 not 5 stars: was a bit thread bare in some spots and buttons came undone as I walked a couple of times.

Pretty cute dress but the top of it is like a wrap dress creating a little hole where it meets the skirt part. Also the buttons on the top were a bit tight. Not a favorite.

The neckline is pretty low and the straps tie around the waist in an odd way. I wore with tall wedges & the length was great. I would've been tripping over it if I was in flats though. Thick material, but flowy.

There are so many things I loved about this dress! The way it flowed, the low neckline, the print, and the way you can choose the amount of leg showing based on how many buttons you leave undone. As other reviews stated, it does run long if you want to wear with flats. I'm 5'6 and ordered the 4R. It dragged with sandals so I wish I would have gone with the 4S/P. Also, be careful when carrying children in it. When I sat my 4 year old I was carrying down I noticed 3 buttons had popped open and my underwear was exposed. Luckily it happened in our hotel room and not at dinner!

This dress was amazing. So unique and a fun design. I rented it for a party and it was easy to make it dressy casual with gladiator sandals and open buttons. It could definitely be dressed up with high shoes, fun earrings and buttoned up. I'm usually a size 4/small in Mara Hoffman but after reading reviews I went with a 6p since readers said it was tight in the ribcage. The 6p worked well on my 5'4 frame but it was very tight around the top few buttons. I was tempted to order an 8p but was worried that more fabric might overwhelm my frame. I would have given it five plus stars if it wasn't for the fit!

I liked this dress but it was a bit worn out and also ripped at the seems. I had to sew it before I wore it. But it's a cute dress and was great for a Saturday party.

Summery maxi with cute front tie. Per reviews I ordered a 4R (usually an xs-s/0-2) and it fit well. Loose fitted top (it's supposed to fall like this) but tighter waist (sizing up is perfect). Quality material and very flattering. I tied the dress once in the front and wrapped it around my waist like the model. Looks better in person than in photos!

I took a chance and ordered the 4 when the 6 became unavailable. While I did get it on, I could not wear it. The rib cage and hips were too tight. I would have popped buttons. I need a 6 or even 8.

This dress RUNS SMALL. As in they didn't label them properly. Consider one if not two sizes up. Thankfully the other reviewers tipped me off and I was able to size up and it worked. I am big busted so I prepared with a layered camisole look for underneath which worked. Would not have worked otherwise as Mara Hoffman dresses are most often, in my experience, designed for smaller chested gals.

I love the fun pattern and the blue is very pretty. The dress was not available in 2 petite which probably would have worked a little better. I am a size 5.4 1/2 and it was very long. The dress also fits very, very snugly in the waist. I am usually a size two and sometimes a zero depending on the dress. Unless you have a very slim waist I would go for a size up. Dress is beautiful and I fully enjoyed wearing it! I did wear a black camisole underneath.

This dress is amazing! Based on other reviews, I went up a size and the 6 was prefect. It was snug in the waist and baggy in the chest, but the overall look was unbeatable! The print is beautiful, and the full skirt is so flattering. I was able to wear a regular front-hook bra and it didn't show at all. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because this dress was a bit more "worn" looking than anything else I've received from RTR. Got compliments all night!
