The dress was so gorgeous but nothing beat having pockets! I wore it for a red carpet awards show where I would be on my feet for a few hours running around, but then would need it for an after party. I was able to wear comfortable flats during the day then change to heels after. Basically the dress is incredibly versatile. It was a little tight for me in my upper torso-right below the bust. I would typically have worn a 6 but this was a 4. I think a 6 would have been too big because I'm short. It was nice for me because I didn't need to wear a bra and it was really comfortable.

I had a great experience. Rental, delivery, and return went smoothly. I will definitely be renting again. FYI I rented a 4&6 4 was too tight in the bust so I ended up wearing a 6. The pockets were a great touch of surprise.

I loved this dress for many reasons, but was sold because IT HAS POCKETS!!! I was worried that it was going to be wrinkled when I got it, but it was perfect. I wore the 36 (4) and I am typically a 4. I am flat-chested so had to wear a bra with it (I hoped it was tight enough not to, but if I didn't I got that fake nipple look from the seam of the fabric). I was also worried about length but with 4 inch heels it just dusted the floor - perfect. The straps were a tad tight so get two sizes just in case. This was my first rental experience and it was a thrill! I got tons of compliments on the dress and its flowed very very nicely. Overall I'm really pleased!

A bit tight across the bust- I don't suggest sizing up though. Pockets were great which made the gown super casual! The fit suggests wearing a strapless bra but I was able to wear a standard bra with it.

I rented this dress for a September wedding and loved it. I was able to go to the NYC showroom and try on my normal size (6) to realize it does run a bit small through the bust. I have a 36 C and the size 8 ended up working better for me. I ended up not wearing a bra and it worked out perfectly, very fitted around the bodice, but would warn anyone with a larger chest to maybe move up a size or 2. Overall, I loved the dress - I wore a 2 1/2 inch wedge and the dress just hit the top of my shoe. I loved the pockets and felt that while it looked dramatic, it was not over the top for this low key country wedding. I think you could easily dress it up or down. Most importantly, I got tons of compliments and felt totally comfortable the whole night - even while breaking it down on the dance floor.

Loved this dress. Very dressy without feeling overdressed. Someone had done a slap-dash hem job on it at some point so it was shorter than I would have liked. Wish that this would have been fixed when the dress was returned by the previous renter because then it would have been perfect. As it was, I loved the dress and got a ton of compliments.

This material of this dress is beautiful. It flows perfect and it was long enough for me to wear 4 inch heels. I received many compliments and I felt wonderful in this dress. It complimented my body and suited my hourglass figure.

I wore this to an inauguration and loved it. most people were in all black and the yellow made it stand out! It was also so flattering and fit to the skinniest part of my waist, I didn't wear a bra and it looked fine. It runs true to size - I wore a size 6. I'm 5'8'' and wore 3 inch heels which were perfect.

Overall a great fit! The most snug around the rib cage just under the bust- definitely the limiting factor. Otherwise great!

Wore this to a black tie wedding and it really worked out since most people didn't follow protocol. I danced all night and didn't get sweaty- the fabric was perfect and didn't even notice there was no bra! The cut was great and it was worth every penny. The length was perfect too although it I noticed that RTR hemmed the dress (and poorly) and the stitching kept getting caught on my heel. I would recommend this dress to everyone. Exceeded all my expectations.

It was tight where is needed to be a loose where it needed to be. This is a dress I looked good in, but wasn't excited to wear. It was comfortable. I the length might have been too long, but it wasn't a huge issue.

I rented this dress and decided to read the reviews before and go with the largest size available; 44. I have no idea how some women fit in this dress with over a B cup. I have small B's and the bodice was super tight. If you are self conscience about a dress showing any bulge in the waist and under the bust THIS DRESS IS NOT FOR YOU. It fits so very tight at top.

I have rented this dress twice. It is easy to wear and can be worn with no bra or a plain old black strapless. No need for anything special in the underwear department. It is NOT dressy enough for a very formal affair but other than that could fit the bill for a lot of occasions as it can be dressed up or down easily. Looks great with the Kate Spade earrings in yellow. Would rent it a third time even!

This dress was sent to me when my original dress didn't fit. The dress is beautiful in person. The fit was great and the length was perfect with a pair of 3 inch heels. The pockets were a fun surprise and a great place to stash my phone and lip gloss for the night. I would definitely rent this one again and would recommend RTR to everyone.

This dress fit me perfectly except that it was a little long in length. It has a very pretty neckline. Simple elegance.

I rented a size 36R and 38R. I fit into the smaller size but I probably would have been a little bit more comfortable if there was a size between the two. I wore 4" heels with this dress since I'm short. Overall, loved it!

Loved the flow of the fabric.. It is very simply but dressed it up with a bunch of bangles and jewelry and it completed my look for a formal affair.

I received this dress for free thanks to a Rent the Runway promotion, and I loved it! It runs smalls; the 12 was a bit snug on me. The simplicity and elegance of the design was great and I received many compliments.

This dress is so beautiful in person. The material is a nice light silk, and the cut is very simple, it really looked a lot like the model even on me. Warning though, it runs very small; I usually wear a 4-6 depending on the brand and the 38R (US 6?) was quite tight, so I ended up going with the 40R. It's also VERY long. Even with 4 inch heels I was tripping on the hem, so maybe better for taller girls.

I was so sad! If you are shaped like an hourglass, size up and get this dress. It's so amazing in person! Sadly, I'm a little more pear-shaped and this dress is small in the waist. I'm going to lose 10 lbs and rent it again.

I did love this dress but i really wish I'd just gotten my normal size.i did chat with a stylist who said the dress runs small so decided to size up. I wore the 40(8) and the straps slipped down frequently and there was a bit of a gap at the neckline. It worked out ok and I still felt pretty Greta, but I think a six would have been perfect.

The dress fit perfectly but I could see a problem in the chest for many as the bodice is very fitted and the material is not forgiving. There are darts that are placed in such a way that if the dress is even a bit too big, will look like "headlights." A bra was a must. Otherwise, it was lovely, the cut of the bodice is what made the dress and it did not look like the same dress everyone else was wearing.

I ordered a size 8 I believe (size 40?) and it ran really small in the waist. It just wasn't flattering. that being said, the material was incredible and I loved it so hope to order a bigger size and wear it for something else some day

The dress and material are even more beautiful than the pictures. I loved this dress + obsessed with the pockets, but it runs VERY small in the bust. I ordered 2 sizes and even the larger size was too small. It took 2 people to hold the zipper to get me in, which they did and I made it work but I was spilling over the top.

I rented this for a day of wine tasting in Sonoma. We had a car service and were going around to some of the more boutique more intimate and fancy places for private tastings, so I though a gorgeous maxi dress would be fun. It was a truly beautiful dress, but unfortunately it was just too small in the bodice for me. I'm usually a 2, but I have a big rib cage and wear a 34c and although very pretty I opted for breathing space instead.

I am not pregnant, and when I zipped this up the way it fit me and how it was tight at the top and then bloused out at my waist made me look 4 or 5 months pregnant! Obviously, I couldn't wear it... even with spanx. I loved this dress, and wish it fit right. I guess you need to have a very flat stomach to wear it as well as the model!

This dress was lovely, however I was not even able to zip it up. The top fits like a corset, and is not meant for anyone over a B cup size. I usually wear a size 2 but sometimes wear a 4.

I was hoping to wear it for the wedding, but the size did not work out. The yellow is very vibrant and stands out beautifully against the black. Would definitely look better on a petite girl rather than a curvy girl (like me)

Honestly my favorite dress I've rented from RTR - elegant, comfortable, but also something really really special. It runs a *little* large. I wear a D cup, and the dress skimmed my body rather than clinging to my bust like most dresses I wear do, but I enjoyed the relaxed fit. Highly recommended.
