I loved this dress! It was a little too low-cut for work, but I solved that with a safety pin.

Wore this out to dinner and then to a night before wedding drinks event. It was easy to dress down with slides, or dress up with some simple heels. The dress was comfortable, and maybe just a tad big on me. Someone had left a safety pin in the bust which made it easier for me to wear!

It was a pretty dress that fit well. But was a little showy in the chest area. Still loved it.

Loved the dress but I forgot that madewell runs slightly large. I ordered my usual size (6) but a 4 probably would have fit slightly better since it was quite loose in the waist and chest.

I really love this dress, but I do agree with others that it needs a button at the chest. I had to use a safety pin to keep it from gaping open. That's the one thing keeping this from 5 stars. Aside from that, I felt great in the dress. Flattering and comfortable, true to size/maybe runs slightly large. I wore it to work with slides and then switched to sneakers for food trucks in the park after work. I can see wearing it a variety of different ways

I wanted to love this dress but it was super loose up top. It fit perfectly around the waist (for reference, I typically wear a size 0 or 2 in bottoms) but the top half felt like it was a completely different size. I don't know my exact measurements but wear a 32C and I had to constantly pull the dress up while I was wearing it. Otherwise a super cute dress if it fit right!

Very pretty red dress. Love the flower details. The sleeves are cute and not too tight. It hit at my ankles but I'm 4"11 so would be higher up on taller people. There was some space in the waist and the top was just too large. It would maybe fit okay if I wore a tank top underneath or pinned it, but I think a smaller size would fit better.

I loved this dress so much that I ended up buying it. It’s very simple to dress up and down. I worked at a church and wore it for Easter. A great dress that looks beautiful but easy to run around and get work done. It is a little low cut, so I pinned it there.

Wore it to a casual work event. Fit me so well! I did pin the top for work and and may need to pin it a bit still for everyday use as it is pretty deep and wide cut. But pinning allows for versatility which is great. Loved this dress so much that I bought it!

Fits well! It’s very cute and true to size. I safety pinned the chest to make sure it was appropriate for work and wore a Jean jacked over it. It’s quite long - but worked well because I’m tall.

Fit really well- I wore without a bra and that was risky since I'm small chested, I could have worn a bra and it probably would have fit better in the chest. It was slightly loose around the ribcage, but I like that - I probably could have worn the size down but I liked how this fit better. Slightly restricted arm movement. Great for everyday and could be dressed up for a party.

This was a great dress for a daytime birthday party. I was comfortable the whole time. It was the perfect fit/cut and fabric.

This fits beautifully and it is comfortable. I love the color and design. I would definitely recommend but don’t wait to throw it on right before you head out the door or you might end up like me and flash your top half in public. Not ideal.

I wore this dress for a casual Sunday brunch and it looked great. The neck was a bit lower cut than I preferred, but that has tended to be an issue for me as I've had to size up to fit my pregnant belly in photos. It was great at 18 weeks pregnant and I think will be great after pregnancy as well. I found the cut of the skirt to be flattering as well. There is a button on the sleeve that can be buttoned if you have thinner arms, I definitely couldn't button it but didn't feel it was distracting.

Material is light and dreamy for summer! It is super great quality and it is lined. I always size down in Madwell, so I ordered a 2 instead of my usual 4 and it fit perfectly! The bust could potentially be revealing if you are bigger chested; the "v" is pretty low-cut ! Overall I loved this dress, and wore it multiple times! Definitely a must-rent!!

This dress was light material and perfect for summer. Arms can loosen a little too but undoing the button which was nice cuz while sitting it was a little tight on my arms

I loved everything about this dress. It fit well, was flirty but still good for a mom of 3, and the color/pattern is so pretty. And when I wore a pushup bra, I had real cleavage in this dress because of the cut of the neckline! (Small boob problems!)
