I LOVE THIS COAT! I almost bought it but I live in a warm climate and don't really need more winter coats. I rented it for vacation in Maine. It was so comfy and kept me warm! It was really stylish and easy to dress up or down.

I will rent again in smaller size! I wore it for an October vacation in Europe. I experienced all seasons, down to 34 degrees and this coat was a staple. It worked well for day and night. I’m a 12, consistently wear a L in jcrew but will size down next time I rent this. Your reg size will be too big unless wearing bulky sweaters-- the lining of the sleeves stuck out of the cuffs so I had to constantly fix it (if I had been wearing bulky sweater it would have prevented the sleeves from pulling)

I didn't get a better pic than this but ended up loving and almost buying this coat. It looks boxy in the pic but didn't appear so for me as I wore it and the pockets and high neck were perfect. I wore in 20ish degrees and was okay- though needed a hat!

Love this coat and am considering purchasing! It's so versatile. The one downside is the lining peaks through the sleeve openings frequently.

I rented this in the fall and kept it through April. I absolutely loved the way it looked with work and casual attires and it was so warm!! I got so many compliments on it and I also loved the big pockets.

Wore many times to work, dinner, walking the dog. Loved weight for early spring. Typical Madewell sizing (runs big). Loved!

I got many wears out of this in early spring- not lined, so this is definitely not a full on winter coat. Pretty color, nice fabric and good cut- fit and slight flare. Flattering. Cute.

This coat fits all occasions. The fabric is soft, its thick enough to offer lots of warmth and I got a lot of compliments.

I rented this coat for a bachelorette trip in Breckinridge, CO. It was super warm and super cute. I would have kept it if I lived somewhere colder!

It fits between and straight and a-line cut. The sleeves were a perfect fit. It looked nice enough to wear out to dinner, but also great for everyday.

The jacket was definitely warm and looked good. Like the other reviews said the lining from from sleeves pokes out a lot. Not a huge deal but would recommend renting something else.

Warm and great for the season, only issue was the arms are short and small. Not great to wear a chunky sweater under.

Beautiful coat, but it's huge! I'm 5'7 and 144 pounds and the coat is way too baggy. So disappointed!

While the jacket fit, the wool wasn’t great quality, the sleeves were short with the lining peaking out/not sized correctly to the wool outer jacket. The fit was also boxy in an unflattering way.

The sleeves were super short and the body of the jacket was massive. Not cute. Wouldn't recommend.

I've been wearing this jacket for a few weeks now and have received a bunch of compliments. It's a little boxy as most Madewell things are but a good weight for 50s temperatures and perfect for everyday casual wear.

This goes well with casual and work outfits, the gray color is very modern and as pictured. The pockets have no flaps making for easy access.

Was hoping it would be a bit heavier, warmer but it was on the light side. Great deep pockets, overall style was cute. The lining in the sleeves would stick out at bottom of sleeves regardless what top I wore. Wouldn't rent again.
