Loved these! Wore them like 6x with lots of different outfits. Flattering and not too high waisted.

The cropped fit is perfect for me - to hit right at foot since I'm 5'1". Rigid but still soft denim.

Madewell runs large but these don't have a lot of give. Looked great the first day then grew baggy which I dislike about most other brands of jeans but doesn't happen in a lot of madewell jeans. I love the idea of this fit but just don't think it is that flattering on short girls like me. Trying to embrace it all the same.

I have been looking for the jeans for so long! So comfortable, look great, I only wish they were available in other washes.

Can't go wrong with these jeans: high-ish waist, classic style, and just a little roomy without being frumpy. They look really cute with the hems rolled up too. Perfect for spring when it's not quite warm enough for shorts. I'd rent them again—in fact, I probably will!

Love these jeans! I agree they are a bit snug/inflexible at first but to be honest I prefer my jeans that way; they wear better long term. These jeans were perfect and true to size. I needed some new jeans so they fit the bill!

As someone who was unsure about non-skinny jeans I was so pleasantly surprised with these that I ordered them from Madewell in a size smaller. Since there's very little (no?) spandex in these they stretch out as you wear them, but that makes them all the more comfortable. Going to try starting with a smaller size to see if I can get a few more wears before washing. Also Madewell offers a curvy cut which may be better for my body type--though the "straight" size was fine on my thicker thighs and round butt.

I loved these so much I ended up going to Madewell and buying a pair. I didn't think the light wash mom jean look was for me, but I'm actually loving it! These were super comfy. I usually wear a size 6 or 28, but went with a 6/29 according to the RTR site and they worked perfectly. A little snug on first wear, but stretch into the perfect relaxed fit jean after a bit.

I love Madewell clothes and these jeans don't disappoint. I found that they ran true to size, maybe a little tight at first when sitting down (as are most high-waisted jeans) but after the first 10 min sitting they felt completely comfortable. Debating keeping these... Jeans are usually jeans and don't stand out, but I got compliments on these!

These were cute and comfy, I like where they hit on the waist.

I do like the style of these jeans a lot, but I did feel that the sizing was a little off for me personally—it felt like it hung well in some places but was too big in others. I would definitely try a different size in these ones though!

These jeans start off quite stiff but loosen up a lot with a couple of wears - I needed a belt after that. I like the color and thought they were comfortable enough for warm days with the looser cut and rolled cuffs. I'm not sure if I would buy them, but I would definitely rent again next summer.

I ordered the size I ALWAYS wear in Madewell but unfortunately the hips on these were VERY narrow. I loved the look of them and I'm hoping I can size up and try again. They looked great but couldn't get them over my curves.

I liked the look of these jeans but they have zero stretch and are not comfortable.

I wanted to like this pair of jeans but found its fit very awkward - flat in the bottom, baggy in the legs and short in the torso region. I think sizing down would have made the waist region too tight (and for reference I wear a zero in most pant sizes)

These jeans are crazy narrow. Not good for girls with hips or for petites. If I sized up it would have been to baggy in the legs area.

Waist is way too tight as it rides really high up. very unflattering on the pelvis and just uncomfortable all around. Super restrictive when sitting. Would not recommend

Very cute style but didn’t fit well. Even if they did fit, the denim is extremely stiff. I think they would be very uncomfortable.

Normally a size 26-27 but I could have worn a 25. Don't even know if that would have helped, these were just so awkward looking! Never worn.

These jeans were a little big on me but holy cow were they also unflattering! Something I would've cried after my mom tried to put me into for school in the 90s.

Maybe Madewell is made well for hourglass figures? I'm straight, so my usual 27 waist couldn't fit these jeans.

I have a closet full of Madewell jeans, all in size 27. This seemed like a no brainer and I was ready to purchase them when they arrived with the tag still on but for whatever reason this style is SO small. I could barely button them closed
