I was disappointed because I was hoping for the perfect everyday shorts, but the look was average and the fit was off. These shorts are uncomfortably tight in the crotch area while sitting and ride up while walking, causing the denim material to create an odd pointy bunch between my butt cheeks. I am between sizes and rented a 26. Maybe I should have sized up but I think the waist would have been too loose on the 27.

They're cute, they're high waisted, they're perfect for summer! Fit/look exactly like expected

High waisted but not too high. Still able to wear under shirts and also do the half tuck.

I'm 5'6" 135lbs (on a good day) and these fit great. The high waist is very comfy and helps keep the extra extras under control. Very flattering.

Loved these shorts and ended up finding them in sale at madewell and bought them in a 25 waist (I'm usually a 26 at madewell, but waist was huge on these). Really flattering, well made shorts. Love the super high waist. There's stretch, but not too much.

These shorts run big, but that was kind of the relaxed beachy look I was going for. I liked them and would rent them again.

I ordered a 30, which is my usual Madewell short size. These felt tighter than my other Madewell shorts. I still wore them and just sucked in :)

I probably should have ordered one size larger. They were too tight.
