I love the ease and versatility of a slip dress. The color is what I was drawn to. I wore this several times in different combinations. In the picture I belted it and wore it with a blazer. This was true to size, if anything maybe a bit oversized. Loved it!

First time trying a slip dress and I don't understand the obsession. Fit was boxy and not flattering. I liked the side slits that made it a little more interesting and the adjustable straps. The material said silk, but was not shiny at all, wrinkled very easily, had lots of loose threads, and showed every sign of sweat. Wore a strapless bra easily, dressed up for the wedding with cute wedges and down after for a more casual night out. Comfortable, good color, but overall meh.

Wore this for a winery tour on a recent girls trip. It was super light weight and comfortable, but also really cute and flattering. Perfect item to dress up or down. It did wrinkle a bit after sitting for a while, but to be expected with any silky material.

Comfortable, stylish and versatile. A little bit sexy, a little bit classy. I loved it so much that, now that I have to return it to RTR, I decided to buy it from Madewell. During my rental I wore it dressed up with ankle boots and nice jewelry to an art museum and dinner, then dressed it down with high top converse and a denim jacket to go to a friend's party. I have long legs but a short torso, so I particularly love that the shoulder straps are adjustable! It has a bit of a shelf liner (non-elasticized) so you could get away with no bra.

Effortless, comfortable, and didn't wrinkle too bad. Beautiful deep red wine / brighter maroon color. Dress did not have too much stretch, has adjustable straps, and zipper on back. I paired it with a jean jacket for work and without for happy hour/dinner.

This was my back up size and it was just really big on me. Unfortunately the size I ordered was not sent. If it had been, I probably would have worn this dress.

Loved the color, but didn't love the fit in me. it was loose above the waist and tight across my hips. I was able to belt it and that helped it appear to fit better. I only wore once.

Was really hoping this would fit. The top and back were very loose while the bottom fit my hips.

It was great to wear for after formal I dressed it up with booties and a jean jacket and got a lot of compliments!

Pros: This is a very season-less dress, easy to layer with tights and turtleneck in winter but could also look great with a jacket in spring or even by itself in warm weather. As a petite person I appreciated the adjustable straps. The fit is flowy but not too flowy, and the garnet color is beautiful. Cons: The silk material is extremely delicate and shows every single wrinkle, crease, drop of water, etc., so it likely would have to be cleaned and steamed often. I was seriously thinking about buying this but then not sure I want to deal with the dry cleaning bill (or environmental damage). Still a great rental though.

I really liked this dress - I wore one size smaller than my usually size because I'm smaller on top, and it still fit the lower part of my pear/athletic body. It came below my knees and I'm pretty tall, so it might be too long for shorter ladies. My only complaint is I thought it would be more satiny/shiny, but it's more of a matte red color. It was perfect for the casual party I went to with a cardigan and booties!

The fit was true to size. Would look extremely cute dressed up with heels or if you want to wear it with white tennis shoes.

The strap was hanging on my a thread so I wound up not wearing it, but it wasn't so flattering either. Fabric is kind of see through and it's just meh.
