I rented a size up due to mine not being in stock. They did fit loose, but a belt helped and elevated the fit. They are not only cute, but very comfortable. I received numerous compliments on them. Including from a few teens! I will be purchasing these!

May buy but go down 1 size due to them being 100% cotton and stretching a little.

Cool pants but yeah wish they were just a bit longer. Super comfy and this is my smaller size 25 and they were not tight, so go with your smaller jean size.

Love these! I ordered a size up because I’m 15 weeks pregnant and should’ve taken my normal size! So I’d say they run a little large!

Big on me but passable to wear. Nice to not be tight on the waist but they did look a little funny being so big. Also weird length was feeling short on me and I'm 5'5".

Don't think barrel shape is for me

I was hoping that the darting would provide some shape to the paints, but they were just over-sized and did not hug anything. I'm a true size 29 but I would have needed a 28 or smaller, and possibly that would not have helped provide any shaping.

These jeans are huge, RTR recommended 31 and could not wear, they are super cute so ordered from Madewell, ordered a 30 and still too big, returned for a 29 and that was perfect, have used them a ton.

I’m 5’4 130lbs and I sized down per reviews and these fit me so awkwardly. Even if I sized up to my usual they would still look weird.

The cut is not a barrel Jean. I don't know what it is but it's not that. Ran large on me and sat at a weird place on my hips. Not high waisted or mid-rise. With the front pockets it kind of looked like I was wearing oversized toddler pants.
