The fit is so good! I love the length and the diagonal buttons. The slit might have been a little high for my work environment. Easily dress up or down.

This skirt is adorable. I couldn’t decide what size to get because I’m between a 30 and 31. I opted for a 31 but it was a little too big. I think the 30 would have fit perfect. Will definitely rent again!

I didn't think I would like this skirt, but ended up loving it and debating keeping it. I normally am a 27 waist, but in Madewell I'm a 26. I decided to be cautious and order a 27, but should have gone with a 26 because it was a little looser, but very comfortable and still flattering. I found myself putting this on rather than my usual denim shorts to elevate my casual outfits. I got a lot of compliments and would consider renting again or even buying.

I loved this skirt and would consider buying it too. Love the asymmetric opening which helped to cover my upper legs while sitting. The waist was a bit on the tight side. Should have gone up to 27 but was fine with the 26.

I think this runs true to size, I just got a size or two too big so it was a bit bulky. The denim is thick - even though the slit goes fairly high, I felt comfortable wearing in a casual office. Would have worn a few more times if I had the right size.

Maybe I needed to size down? It fit awkwardly in hips and waist. I made it work and wore to school function with tucked in tshirt. Cute but only wore once.

Felt like it bunched a little more than I would have liked at the top, would have bought it otherwise, just felt like it didn't lay in a flattering way and photos proved that was true.

Only issue is it would bunch where the layers overlapped. I would have to straighten the skirt out each time I stood.

I got a lot of compliments and it didn't flap weirdly like how some other jean skirts do. I think the layered effect helps this
