Very warm and heavy (in a good way). The corduroy texture is nice, I don’t see that often. Since it’s a cream color, I was extra cautious about getting it dirty.

I’ve had a hit or miss experience with renting winter coats. This was one of the best coats I’ve rented so far. The fabric was much better quality than what I perceived from the photo. The material is soft, but ribbed the coat looked brand new. It was very warm, but not boxy or too much volume. It checked all the boxes, hood, good protection from the cold and very comfortable. Loved the cream color.

Felt really warm. I ordered a small and it was definitely oversized. I’m between a small and a medium in almost everything.

I love this jacket. It is very soft and very warm (lined). I rented it to go to cold weather and it did not disappoint. It is cushy, with a big hood, big pockets, and an easy zipper. One downside is that it is not waterproof. I love this jacket so much that I want to buy it, but since I live in the bay area, I do not have much occasion to wear it.

Great coat! All the coats I have are black so it was nice to have a change. I’m short and felt like the overall size made me look like a marshmallow but I wasn’t too concerned because it kept me so warm.

I wore it to the Rose Parade and Yosemite and it kept me super warm. I really liked it, I was thinking about purchasing it but it's not a "need" at the moment.

I needed a white but warm jacket for my Bach trip. Absolutely loved this one. I am very cold natured and wore this in 40 degree weather and was so warm. I almost kept it but there was some wear on the zipper and a little pilling (and it's almost summer). But would def rent again!

size down two sizes!! I’m 5’7” and usually wear a medium - I ordered a small and it was way too big. I should have ordered a XS

I love everything from Madewell, but unless this coat were to come in an xxs and truly be a massively different fit, then this one was a bust. It was huge on me. Looked like great quality and in excellent condition so please consider my sizes, etc. when making your own choice, but this fit seemed off for Madewell.

I guess when I go to the description I see “off white corduroy” but that’s not what I was expecting based on the pictures…. This jacket is entirely different than what I was expecting. Regardless of the pictures, 3 stars because it’s overall not that comfortable and not that cute. Very thick and puffy. Very warm like a winter coat.

As another reviewer mentioned, the color is not as shown in the pictures. And it does run large, I imagine even the XS would have felt too big.

wore this is new york and it definitely kept me warm! i rented a small and even with layers underneath, it was really big on me, so I'd recommend sizing down.

Fit to size and the hood is great. Kept me warm on a Chicago El platform in 15 degree weather.

I am usually a medium - sometimes small and I definitely needed a small in this coat. Very warm and comfortable.

I loved this cozy winter jacket, however it is nearly two sizes too big for me. A medium or even a small might have fit better. I loved the texture (almost corduroy) and the coziness, just needed a better fit.
