Perfect length, perfect fit. Stylish and classic shorts. Highly recommend.

I've been on the hunt for the perfect denim short for summer. I am looking for something a little longer because these still ride up when I sit down, but I gave them 5 stars anyway. I wore them probably 10 times, but I am looking for a pair to purchase and these aren't the ones for me. So hard to find denim shorts--these check most of the boxes!! Loved where the waistline hit me.

good basic shorts, quality denim and comfy. pretty narrow through the hips — though the waist was actually a little too big on me, the shorts were tight in my hips which caused the shorts to ride up. i’d say these are TTS because i don’t think sizing up or down would help these issues. would be better on a straight and narrow body type but still did the job so i was happy!

Fit just right and comfy enough for everyday but still look elevated. Had to purchase them after this rental!

This is pretty typical for me with hips and a small waist.

These jean shorts are so comfortable and TTS. They fit great, are not too short, and are comfortable. Might end up buying these...definitely keeping for another shipment.

I loved these shorts so much. They were a tad shorter than the shorts I usually wear, but I ended up wearing them a ton and they didn't look inappropriate.

Can't go wrong with Madewell denim. They fit true to size (or at least consistent with all my Madewell jeans). Love them - it's going to be hard to return them!! Summer staple.

The wash is perfect and the quality is nice, but I am always a size 0 in every brand for denim shorts...I'm also not that tall. These were so short that my bottom was hanging out and I felt too embarrassed to wear them in front of my partner's family. They didn't look that way on the model in the picture.

I got a size 25 given that I’m usually a 24 or 25 in madewell jeans and these were so tight. There is no stretch. Couldn’t even zip them up

I think you have to size down two sizes in Madewell denim shorts. These stretched out so badly after only a few min. wearing, I sent them back right away.

rode up a bit but overall very cute
