Haven't worn shorts I've liked this much in a while!! Cute, versatile, fit very well, comfortable, loved them.

They fit well on my curvy figure - enough room for thighs but not too big in waist. The length is modest and covers the cheeks but isn't so long that it's frumpy. I wore these about 8 times.

High rise but very short. Perfect for vacay. Love them!

These shorts fit great. I fluctuate between 24-25 depending on the brand and the 24 fit perfectly, no gapping in the waistband. Very soft denim and very comfortable. Only minor complaint was that they are a tad short.

The length was great -- not too short but short enough for the Texas heat. The high rise hit at the right spot.

These shorts fit really well, true to size, short enough to not feel like grandma shorts, but not too revealing. Loved these and would have purchased if I’d rented at the beginning of the summer.

Fit really well, great length

I am self conscious in shorts and feel very comfortable in these. They’re shorter than I usually wear but seem a bit longer in the back which is nice. I ordered a 31 which is usually my “biggest” size and the fit is very nice.

Soft and comfortable.

I love the fold up on the legs and the high waist, makes the short leg feel not so short. These are a great basic and I may rent again just to buy them!

I've always had a large backend and struggle finding jeans and shorts that fit well and cover me up even when sitting. These shorts fit perfectly, were really cute, I loved the high waist, my cell phone fit the back pocket and didn't poke out of the top. I will be buying these shorts.

Comfortable, classic fit. They did ride up a little bit through the day. Not a lot of stretch.

Wore these SO much- usually hate jean shorts for the gradual rise up when walking, but didn't have that problem with these. Loved wearing with cropped tops.

I have no complaints over these shorts! They fit amazingly. I almost always have to wear a belt with jean shorts because of gapping at the back. I do not with these. I actually just found them on sale to purchase on the Madewell website!

These are rather short, but worked well for vacation. I did wear them hiking once and they rode up a lot really uncomfortably. I've recently gained weight and am having a hard time finding things that fit and determining my new sizing, so I appreciated these are true to size.

It fits as expected. The crotch is a little long but I'm still going to buy them because the fabric has give and I like the high waist!

Loved the fabric, super soft and not too tight. Perfect length in the front, however couldn't end up wearing because my cheeks were totally hanging out of the back!!

I am 26/27 in most jeans - these are not great if you have an hourglass shape or athletic hips/thighs/behind. I’d have to go up at least one, maybe two sizes.

Legs fit true to size like other madewell jeans. The waist was extremely stretched out to the point that they were nearly unwearable. I wore with a long float shirt to conceal how poorly fitting the waist was.
