I instantly loved the way the jeans fit and look on. They are high waisted so it worked great with a cropped sweater (also RTR). I am only 5'3" so the cropped length worked perfectly for me to wear slip-on shoes, boots, or tennis shoes. Excellent weight and moveability of the denim. I wish I could buy these new but they don't have any in stock at Madewell. May end up buying these from RTR but the cost is as high as new! That's because they'll never wear out!

Absolutely loved these trendy jeans. Very big in the waste though so I dont know if sizing down would be helpful or getting the curvy option would be better. So comfy tho!

These are so comfy, a little loose, great for running errands. The knees were a little baggy but I guess that’s the look now. A big difference from my old skinny jeans! Much more comfy to button lol they may not have been the most elongating jeans but whatevs I love them.

I loved these jeans so much I had to get them for my permanent collection! They are comfortable, full coverage, amazing to dress up or dress down.

I wore these several times, but I'm not sure I would buy them as they were a bit bulky and I don't think sizing down would work due to my waist size. The style is not the most flattering fit for my frame, but they are still fun and worth the rent.

I wore a 29 and they fit perfectly at first and then stretched to be kinda big so I’d size down if I wanted to rent again. I’m 5’8” 145 lbs.

Since the pandemic started, I’ve been living in elastic waistband pants. I gained some pandemic weight and suddenly my skinny jeans didn’t feel as comfy anymore. And at some point skinny jeans also became outdated?? Anyway, I found these jeans and they made me feel SO CUTE and comfy!!! I love how I was able to wear them with a cute top or more casual with a sweatshirt. I will definitely be renting these again!!!

When I first wore the jeans, I fit right in and really liked how it was a high rise and the length. But soon it stretched out and got big. If you are between sizes, I would recommend choosing the smaller size. I'd like to rent again but a smaller size.

Not much stretch but they felt better around the hips after a few wears. (I usually wear the curvy size in Madewell Jeans)

I really love these jeans, but rented a size too big. I am typically a 27/28 but wanted to go up a size, because I am self conscious about crop tops. I went too big! I am excited to try the right size!

Very comfortable. Fit a bit big in my opinion, I ended up buying a 25. The material is heavier than expected, but not uncomfortable at all. Loved them!

Loved these so much I bought them in a size down. They get looser with wear so definitely recommend sizing down for folks between sizes.

I always wear madewell jeans so I knew what size to pick and was familiar with how they'd fit and feel. As usual I went one size down (normally a solid 26). Slight stretch.

Absolutely loved these jeans and turned to them often during the rental period. They are a little large and definitely stretched over the course of a few wears but were very comfortable. Length was perfect to wear with heeled booties.

best Madewell fit I've found

I didn't hate them, I didn't love them. Problem is, if you're short legged, they don't hit at the ankle like they do for the model. But rather just brush the top of your shoes...like you're wearing jeans that aren't long enough. I found them too wide at the bottom to "cuff"...so they were just awkward. Comfy and roomy, didn't stretch out too much after wearing. It's me, not the jeans.

I wore these about twice a week when working from home and just to do errands in. They were great basic casual jean.

Can never find jeans that fit my smaller waist to bigger hips ratio. These fit great!

Nothing special but great everyday wear jean

I was able to wear these one day on a "jeans day" at the office but they fit very snug. They didn't have any give to them even after a full day of wear. I drove home with them unbuttoned.

These pants were awesome. I wore them multiple times. The only downside was the hit right at the bottom of the ankle, so looked weird with tennis shoes. I think this is because I am on the shorter size, a petite or cropped size would have given these 5 stars.

Really glad I got a chance to rent these jeans. I love the style and color for an everyday jean. They are classic denim, so not much stretch but they still feel really nice. My only complaint is that they gap at the waist. Definitely not a curly fit. I'm going to try the next size down to see if they fit better without being too tight on my hips/thighs. I would absolutely purchase these in a curvy fit

Fits as expected. Flattering cut.

Measurements: 32in waist, 43in hips, 25-26in upper thighs. These jeans were the perfect ankle length for me and I loved the medium weight of the denim, the casual light wash, and the relaxed cut on my legs while hugging my hips. These run large which seems to be standard for Madewell. I usually wear a 30-31 and would almost never order a 30 in non-stretchy denim, but these have very little stretch and they were still too big at the waist. As per usual, jeans with little stretch in a non-curvy cut just don't work quite right for me fit-wise. They did fit my hips great and my thighs pretty well too. I probably wouldn't size down for fear of painfully tight thighs in a smaller size because I could definitely tell it would dig in there when sitting if they were smaller. They didn't bag out even after 4+ wears though! I really wish RTR would get more of the curvy cut jeans from Madewell or other brands as they fit me so much better.
