Runs big in the waist and tons of stretch. I typically have to size down in Madewell and these were no different. I wear a 12 or 31 typically, I rented these in a 30 and could have sized down to a 29. Paired well with a crop top for a night out and I also wore them running errands. A great staple, will rent again!

I really loved these jeggings, except they were too big in the waist. I would have sized down if they had my size available. The fit in the legs was perfect and they were flattering. I may try them again some time in a smaller size.

First of all these are not jeans. These are jeggings. If you're into that, then rent. Order 2 sizes down because they run large. I was excited about these. I hoped they were true jeans that were cut for women with a bigger bottom. I was completely wrong. Don't get me wrong they are cute but just not for me.

I went with the suggested size, but definitely needed a smaller one. The waist on these is huge. It's not unusual for jeans to fit looser in the waist than the hips for me, but these were ridiculous. The fabric was super comfortable and stretchy, and if I hadn't been pulling them up all day, I think I would love them. May try again, and I'm tempted to go down two sizes because of how huge these were.

I am hourglass shaped and I was so excited when these jeans slid over my thighs and butt. Sadly though, they were ridiculously large in the waist. My picture doesn't do the gap justice. If you are hourglass, size DOWN. I actually just ordered these jeans again two sizes smaller hoping that they will stretch enough.

I rented these for our newborn photo shoot, 3 weeks postpartum. I'm a Madewell denim enthusiast and wear a pre-pregnancy size 27 (for reference). I tried these and the vintage straight leg jeans, which I couldn't get over my hips! But these have an excellent amount of stretch and the curvy cut definitely flattered my PP body. The size 28 fit me perfectly! If you're not sure of your Madewell size, def size down they do run a little big, but comfy and nice high waist cinches! :)

Very pleased with these. They fit well and they have some stretch to them, which makes jeans feel less constricted to me.

These were not for me. They were baggy in the crotch/ front. Looked funny. But I gave it five stars because it just could be because I'm short.. 5-2 Normally I swear by Madewell brand. There's plenty of stretch and they would be great jeans for someone else.

Love the quality of the jean, but ran super large. I'm usually between size in a 8 or a 10. Rented the 30 and it was super large in the waist. Will rent again in a size smaller or maybe 2 size smaller. With Madewell, it's always a hit or a miss with me in sizing.

I almost bought these, but they run a bit too large

Super cute and fits great - for the first five minutes. These stretch an insane amount - I originally ordered a 29 (I'm a 30 waist) and they were huge. I'm now trying a size 27. Super cute just size way down.

Nice pair of jeans

These were just not flattering on me. They are very high-waisted (which I was looking for) but the fit wasn't great on me. They run a little large and I had LOTS of extra fabric in the waist. They also sort of would slouch down in an unflattering way in the crotch. I felt like I was constantly having to pull them up. It's possible that a 31 would have fit me better.

Very high waisted with a stretchy fit that gives a lot of room in the waist. The downside, is that the top has so much stretch that it doesn't have a lot of control, so if you have a kangaroo pouch or a little extra around the hips, it shows everything, unless you pair it with a longer shirt. I liked how they were very comfortable but they weren't super flattering.

The jeans l fit alright but the waist was a lil large and made the jeans fall / sag throughout the day.
