Wore this coat in Cleveland and Chicago in December. It was warm and so, so cute. Lots of compliments. Can easily be dressed up or down.

This Madewell coat is amazing. Warm and a great length if you're petite. I sized down the one and it's perfect. Fit a bulky sweater underneath.

It definitely runs a little big, but I didn't mind since I rented this in the middle of a New England winter and could layer thick sweaters underneath (also I'm pretty busty and could use the extra space lol). It's very boxy in shape, but that's totally my jam - I love long straight lines and I think it gives it a cool/edgy look which pairs really well with boots. It's surprisingly warm, and it's nice and long - I'm 5'6" and it hit just above the knee. It's also pretty unisex - I had my boyfriend try it out and I thought it looked amazing on him. (Couldn't find a photo of myself wearing it, so here's one of an athletic/bodybuilder guy wearing it). Would rent again, and honestly, I might end up buying it.

Loved this coat and wore it as my everyday coat. Matches with everything! It does run large though. I am usually a 14-16 and probably could've sized down to a L.

This coat is PERFECT! Even one of the Deans at my law school noticed my coat and asked what it was and how could he find it for his wife! ha! I am obsessed with the warmth, the look, and the feel of the sherpa material and once I put it on I told my husband I was never taking it off!

I love this coat! It kept me warm up in the mountains and was a nice change from my ski jacket for dinners or walks around town. Fits true to size and that is also factoring in having a sweater on underneath. I wanted to keep this coat and got so many compliments while wearing it!

I liked this coat! It was stylish when worn open and still warm-ish. However, the weather by me turned cold and buttoning the jacket makes it look kind of frumpy so I didnt wear it as much as I wanted.

This is very cozy and kind of cute. My husband laughed at me when i wore it (in a nice way) because he just doesn't get the sherpa look. I felt it was a little frumpy to keep but it satiated my teddy bear jacket desire for now.

It was fine. Maybe I'm being unfair because ultimately it wasn't really my style.

Surprisingly unflattering. It ran big, perhaps that's why it looked bad? I'm shorter, maybe that's why it looked bad? Either way, not a fan. No shape and just big overall.

Thought I would love it more - was a straight cut, size up or skip if you're curvy on bottom
