Fit as expected! Really didn't want to return this one

I road tripped for two weeks between TX/NM/CO/UT/AZ and wore this almost every single day. Color was great with my hair and eyes. Plenty warm, but not too hot for in/out of the car in light snow.

I was in the market for a coat that I could throw over any outfit and be ready to go. This coat fit the bill perfectly! The color and quilted look made it the perfect fall transitional piece, while the boxier fit made it easy for layering. Paired with some heeled lug sole boots? *chef's kiss*

Great color, for right perfect for fall

Obsessed with this jacket. It was perfect for transitioning from Winter to Spring in Wisconsin and can be worn as outerwear and indoors. It is meant to be oversized, so be prepared for a slightly larger fit. It has good structure (but very very comfy!), a warm, rich color and a lovely texture. I love pieces that I can wear with all black or a more neutral earthy color pallet and this jacket fits the bill! Will be keeping this one for a while longer. One of my favorite rentals so far!

Super comfy and my favorite color, will be buying or renting again.

I got this for my girlfriend to wear and its wayyyy too big and boxy. She’s normally a large of medium for stars and we got a small in this and it still was too big and boxy. Wouldn’t recommend. It’s hard finding non feminine jackets on RTR that aren’t boxy!

Rented when weather was a little to warm for this jacket. Much heavier than expected! would be perfect for fall.

Even though it's orange it seems to go with everything. Great fall piece.

Large and boxy but perfect over the several layers this Texan had on to survive a 40 something degree Texas game. Got tons of compliments. No pic bc we lost. Booo.

I received many compliments in this coat. The color and cut are beautiful and it has been great for 60 degree fall weather. I'm trading it in for something warmer as I transition to a Northern California winter though...

I love this, but I guess my arms were just a little small for it. May be good to size down. But I love how it looked with jeans and it was perfect for layering!

Cozy coat that was perfect for Fall in NYC! I wore a size small and it was roomy but not too big- 5'5" 135 lbs.

I rented this to wear on a trip to Tahoe. It was the perfect weight - could be worn with sweaters, scarves, etc. to be warmer, or just a light shirt for cool but not cold weather.

I can't recommended this coat enough! I kept it for two months of my membership which I've never done before. I found it to be the absolute PERFECT coat to transition between cold morning weather, chilly workspaces, and warm afternoons in the late winter/early spring time of year. You can easily layer it with scarves, sweaters, cardigans, whatever, without it feeling too bulky and restrictive. I wore it almost every day for several weeks as my main coat and it was tough to send it back!!!

Great casual coat for early spring in the PNW. Was able to layer a sweater under snugly and that was fine. The fit was good and I usually do a Small or Medium in coats, so I would say this runs ever so slightly big. Loved the pockets and it is in good shape...should last a few seasons plus.

Madewell always seem to have such a boxy and awkward fit ... super cute jacket and I love the material but made my shoulders look super rounded. Was ok for just bringing to work

Great jacket for errands, pop of fall color. Not the most flattering shape-wise, very boxy. But very true to photos and sizing.

Loved this coat, felt on trend and perfect for the fall (or more mild winter weather, depending on where you are at!). I sized down based on other reviews, but I wished I had stuck with my typical medium - I think it's supposed to be a bit oversized.
