Wore this to the office and then to the airport. It came with a slip, which didn't feel necessary but was nice; however, when I lifted my arms even just slightly, the slip would show at the bottom. It's a comfy travel dress and could probably be cute dressed up with nicer shoes but worked with some sneaks!

I rented this dress for a weekend away in the Hamptons through Unlimited. To be honest I didn't love it from looking at it online, but when I saw it in person, the light weight fabric and the pattern won me over! The dress is so comfortable and light weight. It can be dressed up a little or just worn as a casual day dress. The modest cut also makes this dress versatile. The slip underneath is true to size, but this shift dress is pretty loose, so size down for back up. I'm 5'5, 120 typically a size 0-2, and the size 0 in this had lot's of room to spare. This dress was so great for my weekend getaway, and a day at the office. I highly recommend this summer dress!

This dress is so great. The print is bold and fun but somehow subtle and easy. The fit is comfortable and loose but the slip fits closer to your body, so it feels appropriate. I wore this to a client meeting and the length was great for the office.

I wore this dress to a casual rehearsal dinner. The fit is very loose so I sized down. I didn't want to look like I was wearing an oversized tee shirt. I got tons of compliments. It photographs nicely. The bag is also from Rent the Runway, Rebecca Minkoff. I wore it with wedges, but it would also work with flats.

Typically do not love wearing the color orange, but absolutely love this style! The cream and light orange combination is perfect for spring/summer and flatters a variety of skin tones. Running true to size, we recommend sizing up for a more oversized fit and down for less. With room in the bust and the option to wear a standard bra, this style is great for all cup sizes. There is ample room in the waist and hips, allowing for a more flowy fit. Fabric has no stretch, which allows for a more structured fit. At 5'7", the length hit about mid-thigh. Looks great with a leather satchel!

Gorgeous fabric and colors. Easy elegance. Order down one size (or possibly more if you have your own nude slip). I didn't find this dress as unflattering as other reviewers. Yes, it is tent like (especially in the back, where the pleat creates extra fabric), but because the fabric is thin and flowy, it gave the dress an easy elegance. The fabric feels and looks like expensive silk, even though it is polyester. It comes with a nude colored slip, which is not attached to the dress. The slip runs one size large, while the dress itself could be sized down multiple sizes (if you don't want the oversized look). I rented this dress in size 8 (40), which is one size smaller than my typical RTR dress size 10 (155 lbs, 5'8', 36C). This resulted in the slip fitting perfectly and the dress being generously oversized. I think that was the correct choice of size for me. I plan to rent this dress again.

Loose comfortable silk dress. Fresh unusual colors. The orange is like a sherbet. Love the back drape of this dress. I went down a size which seemed to work well to lessen the bag effect. Don't lift your arms up though or else slip is exposed. Tight hole to get head through. No zip or button.

Very breezy dress - perfect for hot weather. Didn't find it to be too sheer (wore with the nude "slip" it came with). Definitely a tent-like fit even when I sized down (and had I sized down farther the slip would have been too snug). Did have to steam it when it arrived so plan for that if you're renting on the go!

Totally understand this dress is supposed to be oversized but I got my usual size 2 and it was just too big. Loved the lightweight material, print and color but I couldn't wear it as I would have just looked silly.

Fits like a bag, not much for the figure. Includes a slip, but still felt see through to me. Great fun color and pattern. Small head hole, by the way. I've got an average size head and I had to squeeze through it. Still I liked the dress and so did the husband.

Loved this dress! Fit was flowly and free, dress was unbelievable comfortably and gorgeous. Wore to a party with lots of fashunable people, received many compliments and "Ooh is this vintage?" Dress was out of my normal scope and I may have to try more like it! Worked well in Honolulu where it was reminiscent of Aloha wear but not tacky.

I wore this to the beach and loved the lightweight fabric for a hot day. It's a little short to wear on anything other than a weekend or vacation. If you're going to wear makeup or earrings, put this dress on FIRST, because the head opening is SMALL and I had to squeeze through it. I loved the color and pattern and I'm considering buying this dress!

I should have sized down. I'm usually between an 8 and a 10, but I got the 42 (is that Large? Can't remember). It was like a mu-mu, so I belted it and it looked very nice. The color and pattern are gorgeous. You can really play it up or down. But I would size down next time.

The dress fall very nice, it had an undergarment slip that made it non-see thru since the fabric is very thin. The color is perfect for the summer. I wore it with turquoise accessories and it looked fabulous. Got many compliments at work.

I was 7 months pregnant so I chose this shift style dress and belted with a thin gold belt. Worked out great! There is a slip underneath this dress as it is slightly on the sheer side. The slip is not very forgiving so luckily the 38 slip fit over the bump while I wore the 36 dress. If I wasn't pregnant I would probably order a size 34 in this dress (I am usually a 2 or 4 with athletic build). This dress is not super long so you ladies with long luxurious legs (not me!) may find it a little on the short side. It hit right above my knee which was comfortable for me.

The dress size that I ordered never came. The larger backup size arrived, but it was a little too large. The print and material is beautiful.

This dress was suggested to me by RTR after my 1st choice dress was not available. I wore this dress to a daytime party with low heel sandals. I also experimented with a dressier look with a rattan belt and wedge heels but decided on a more casual look. The tangerine color is unique and the silk is beautiful. Dress was in like-new condition. I would rent this dress again!

Print is pretty and color is bright. But this dress runs super huge! I was swimming in it.

I loved this dress, can be dressed up or down. And you can add some fun colorful jewelry. Sizing - I ordered the 42 and typically wear a 12, fit well even a bit loose, no issues. The fabric is beautiful and it's a great effortless look. My only issue with the dress was the liner, it constantly popped out when i moved in the dress, you're better of wearing your own slip.

I liked but not loved this. The silk was lovely and the back had a nice cut. This color would probably look good on someone with darker skin as it washed my fair skin out a bit. I sized down to the equivalent of a 4, and it fit well. Otherwise it could look tent like, but it depends on taste.
