I wasn't sure how this dress would fit because of the Italian sizing, but I ordered the 46R based on the conversions that were listed. It was comfortable and fit perfectly, even in the bust (I'm a 34DDD). The only thing was that the dress was a little long on me, more of a tea length dress because I'm 5'2". You can wear a regular bra with the thick straps and there is room for your hips, so you can dance and twirl all night in this dress! Loved it! I highly recommend this dress!

The dress fit well- it was a little snug around the ribs because there's no stretch, but otherwise it was perfect. The fabric is good quality and heavy(in a good way). I wore this to my best friends rehearsal dinner!

I really liked this dress and ended up wearing it for an outdoor BBQ and it was perfect. The fabric is a soft, thick cotton and the colors are a bit more muted then pictured but I loved it and would recommend it for sure!

I wore this to take pictures for work as well as for a friend's graduation. It was perfect for both. The skirt has A LOT of material. It comes quite wrinkly to prepare yourself for quite a bit of ironing but it's worth it. I noticed that the black of the material was more matte/faded than it is in the pictures of the model. So if you are looking for a crisp black, this isn't for you. It did photograph darker though which was nice. The 42 fit but I went with the 44 as it was more flattering across in the chest and in the armpit fat region. haha

I got a 46R and a 44R and the smaller size fit better than I would have imagined. It's VERY flattering! The gold zipper in the back is delightful. And I'm a sucker for any dress with pockets. I got a lot of compliments, and it was a perfect dress for a June wedding in Seattle!

I wore this dress to a wedding which stretched over the entire day with a ceremony in the morning, and a reception in the late afternoon until 10:30 pm. I was comfortable in this dress all day long! It fit well-- I am either a Size 2 or 4 when it comes to dresses, and for this one the 4 fit a little bit better. The color is not a dark black, but almost more like a navy or gray. For reference, in the photo my husband is wearing navy blue pants. This was my first RTR experience, and it was so simple and reasonable (thanks for the 1st timer coupon!) that I will definitely look to use this service again.

Paired this with pink patten leather heels. Dressy but still casual. Shoulders were kinda big but no one probably noticed. Cute and comfortable dress! And I inspired someone to order it for a wedding they had the following weekend! Overall loved this dress.

The dress does run a bit small. I'm currently between a size 4 and size 6 in dress size. I ordered a 6 and 8 based on previous reviewers comments that the dress ran small. I could wear both the 6 and 8, but would not have fit a size 4. So, I'd recommend sizing up. I ended up wearing the size 8 since it allowed me to breathe comfortably. I knew I'd be outdoors for an extended period, so I wanted to be as comfortable as possible. The dress didn't look big or have excess fabric when I sized up-so that was great! The black is not quite as bold as the picture, but it's a lovely dress all the same. The fabric was not what I expected ( a little heavy) but didn't give me issue in 85 degree weather. The length is nice and makes the dress a bit more classy. It was great in heels but also nice with sandals, which I ended up wearing for comfort. I think it could work well for both a day/night event.

I loved this dress!! It fit perfectly, and true to size, and I got a ton of compliments on it all night (wore it to a wedding in the Carolinas). I am a 4 and typically wear smaller sizes on top, larger on the bottom. I'd recommend the dress for a similar body type as the top was fitted and the waist line hit just right, but the bottom allowed for more space and a flowy feel. It fit very well and the fabric was the perfect weight to give the look a bit of gravity. The flowers really pop! Would rent and wear again if it weren't so memorable! I also rented the clutch (Kate Spade).

The bodice was actually too tight but I wore a corset underneath so it fit. Dress was very pretty and I got so many compliments. I usually wear a size 8 and after reading the other reviews I knew I was taking a chance with the size 44 but it worked out

This dress was super cute and comfortable. The fabric was a little faded, but I still found it beautiful. It was a bit long...would have been cuter/younger if it was shorter. I loved it though and it was super fun to dance in (lots of twirls).

The dress is gorgeous. I was a little thrown off that the black color of the dress was a bit muted when I got it. However, based on the picture that seems to be the way the dress actually looks. The dress was a touch tight but still fit. I loved the dress, it was such a fun dress for a wedding. I received many compliments on it!

I was nervous about renting a dress, especially last minute, but it was a winner! The fit was perfect, when dresses with a fitted bodice usually are snug on my ribs. The black is slightly faded, which made it more appropriate for a garden wedding than for a black tie affair. I wish it was lined, but the pockets made up for it! I got lots of compliments and felt comfortable all night long.

I wore this to a fundraising awards event. This dress was so perfect. It was casual but yet super chic. The print and soft black color made it great for a spring event. I rented a 38R and a 40R. I usually wear a 0 in every RTR order I get but the 38R was too small and the 40R was perfect. There is no stretch in the dress at all. The bottom is really flowy but the middle has a band around it which was pretty tight on my waist. That's why I went up to the bigger size because I couldn't even zip the smaller size over the band on the waist and I have a fairly small waist. I'm also pretty flat chested so if you have more up top, I wouldn't definitely go for a bigger size because there wasn't much room to work with for me. But I loved the dress. I got so many compliments. My favorite being from a little 5 year old girl who randomly came up and said she loved my dress so much. I wore nude heels and a nude clutch with a gold watch and small gold earrings that both matched the gold zipper on back of the dress. Would definitely rent again.

True fit for my figure- I usually wear an 8 dress. Loved the movement of the skirt. Wore to dinner one night and thn to work later that week with a simple cardigan.

I usually wear a US 4 (IT 42) but the US 6 (IT 44) fit best. HUGE difference between the 42 and 44 - the 42 was not even remotely close to zipping, the 44 fit perfectly! Definitely size up! The overall length was a little longer than "tea length" on my short-legged self, but a tall set of stilettos balanced it out nicely. Dress bonus: no special undergarments required. Who doesn't love a dress that you can wear a regular bra under?? Only negative is the color; my bf nor I could determine whether the dress was black or navy. The cotton material appears to be faded, but I believe it is intended to be that way. Easy way to work around this color question - nude shoes. Overall, this dress was beautiful and comfortable. Both my boyfriend and my father loved it. I would highly recommend!

I loved this dress!! It's very vintage and definitely what I wanted. Very comfortable to wear all day. However it's more navy than black. I'm 5'9 and about 140lbs. I generally wear a size 4 in dresses.

Beautiful print on lovely fabric. Unfortunately, the fit was tight. It wouldn't have been comfortable to wear if I was planning on having a meal, and this was the case. I could zip it up, but I definitely had to suck it all in. It was particularly tight in the bust area, which was surprising since I'm fairly small up there. I'd definitely try renting it again one size up!

This dress was fine. Not my favorite rental but it was cute. The cotton fabric makes it seem more casual, and it was pretty long on my short frame. Was nice and cool for graduation and very well made, but didn't absolutely wow me the way other rentals had.

Loved the floral print! It was perfect for a garden wedding. The material was light so I stayed cool even on a hot day. Usually I wear a 0, so I ordered a 38R and 40R. The 40R was perfect. Really comfortable to wear and great for dancing!

This was a backup to a backup dress - and thus they only sent one size. I really love the dress but it is much too small. As others have pointed out, it runs small - but as a true size 4 and not being able to zip it up at all, it's worse than was even described. Maybe I'll try again for a future event!

I loved it, but found it was not as dressy as I thought it would be. It also looked a little worn from being worn and cleaned so much.
