So cute So easy to wear!
This is one of the most fun dresses I've rented from RTR! The colors are bright, the pattern is bold and it slips easily over your head and tightens up with the ties on the back! As you can see from the pic there are slits on the side that do go fairly high (both sides) but the dress is so well made they stay together well. I'm going to shed a tear when I send this back

Unusual and chic
It’s true that this dress does not offer sufficient coverage when you sit down - but it’s also very easy to wear a black slip or skirt underneath to create a sophisticated layered look. I think also for a summer party where you would mostly be standing the slits are high but not unmanageable. I wore it to work with a stretch pencil skirt underneath and it was great for a hot day.

Honestly? Do not rent
The Marni dresses RTR has are a light fabric perfect for hot summer days almost like percale sheets. The pattern and color in this were gorg. However as other reviewers noted the dress does but button fully down the sides. I truly do not know where you would wear this. Similar to other Marni dresses I have rented, it runs at least a size or two large - the straps on this helped address the large gaps under the arm. With the new program, don't bother wasting a space on this.

Apron with thigh-high slits
Somehow, this apron-gone-wrong manages to be both matronly AND too revealing. I have no idea what's going on here. The fabric was only sewn together down to the hip and then it's *completely open* down both legs. Arrow in the photo shows the top of the slit. As soon as I took a step it was just my whole leg exposed. And the rest of it isn't particularly flattering! I wish I could send it back right away, but I'm on the new plan, so I'm stuck for awhile. Maybe I'll wear it to bake some cookies?

Didn't wear but soooo cute
I didn't wear this- I decided to exchange for something else but the dress was very sexy. The slits showed lots of skin so for the right occasion it would be great, I just didn't have anywhere to wear it.

Super cute.
This was too big for me, maybe even two sizes, but it's what was available, but I knew that when I ordered it. Took off one star because the side slit extends rather far up. On me, ir reached about two inches below the leg opening of my underwear. Because it was too big, the straps kept falling down, too. LOVE the ties detail. Cheerful colors and all-around winner. But get your size, or it won't work.

Odd cut
Echoing others that the side-button on this was a little bit odd. I liked it fine and could wear it but wouldn't rent again.

Unfinished apron
I had high hopes for this dress, but I don't have the right body type to pull it off. I felt wide in the hips. And my boyfriend said it looked like an unfinished apron. I don't mind the print and the raw hem -- it's part of the edginess -- but I didn't feel confident. Didn't wear it.

What is HAPPENING with the sides of this dress?!
Okay, great fabric, print, silhouette, a little loose and waistless but that was okay. Unfinished seams and back ties were cute and fun as well. But holy moly the side slits and buttons! So both sides from underarm to butt cheek is all buttons, with a lot of gappage when you sit. On top of that the buttons stop and the side slit is sooooo high! With the stiff material and zero stretch, it was basically vulgar while sitting, and I'm not too modest. It would be a 5-star w/o the side issue!

Not a Dress - What is this thing?
This is the most confusing thing I've ever tried on and it's unwearable. This is a flap of thin cotton fabric with white shoelaces to close up the sides on the upper portion of this dress. There's a button at the hip, and then the dress is open on the sides below that. It's not a high slit - this is open at my underwear line and flopping open to show my groin and bottom. The fabric is very thin and folding around at the sides. I'd say this could be a swimsuit cover-up but it would be very difficult to put on and re-lace. I wish I had seen other reviews before placing this in my subscription -- another reviewer accurately describes this as a revealing but matronly apron.

What is happening?!
The colour is gorgeous! And that's where the positive ends. The fabric reminds me of a quality bed sheet and the side slits are inappropriately high even for a tall, long-legged woman like myself. This is the first time EVER I can't wait to send this dress back to RTR. Such a waste of a valuable summer spot :(

Listen to other reviews
Don't waste your time renting. Like others mentioned the slits on the sides make it unwearable. Also the buttons on the side open up and leave you totally exposed. Maybe would work as a beach cover up but wasn't worth it for me, I returned it.

Smock-like fit
The pattern was ADORABLE but it was too unflattering to wear. It's loose, but stiff (maybe if it was more flowy it would work better) and the fabric doesn't move with your shape, just is a box around you.
