This dress wasn’t my favorite, but it’s very high quality - the cut is perfect. It’s very comfortable because it has a bit of stretch, but it fits like a tailored dress rather than a typical stretchy dress. As such it’s not skin tight but I wouldn’t say it runs large, although it is on the long side (sort of a short tea length) so it might feel dowdy on a petite frame.

As with other Marni dresses I have rented, this one was slightly too small through the shoulders and under the arms, even though it fit perfectly everyplace else. The waist of the dress isn't very defined, so I definitely needed a belt. The fabric is think and warm, even though it's not wool. I liked the pattern fine, although I did feel like a bit of an 80s throwback with the blue-black combination, geometric print, and wide belt.

I struggle with Euro sizing. I'm usu a 10-12 and 48 was too big. May try again this winter. Dress is well constructed and fabric is a nice heavy weight. MIDI length a little challenging on me even at 5'9".

This has a bit of an a-line, which I think is great. Not sure if it is stretched out or if I was wrong about size, but fears I had about it being too body skimming were set aside. I even found it little bit large. Got multiple compliments on the pattern. It is on the warm side.

You might pass by this dress as you're choosing your selections and go 'ehh, whatever' but it's terrific. Very flattering, can be dressed up or down. I have a buddy who was a buyer for Armani for years and she stopped me and went, 'Nice dress. You need to go out in that dress!' It's clearly well made and nicely constructed. Subtle shifts in the colors add to the dimension. Seriously love this dress. Stealth Wealth, etc. Total keeper.
