I loved this top even more than I thought I would. The fit is oversize but it also runs large, so keep that in mind when ordering. It is a bold look - between the unexpected cape-balloon silhouette and the Jack-O-Lantern colors, you have to be willing to own this if you're going to pull it off. I wore it and got compliments from people on it, and I loved the way it looked with leggings and statement heels. Work it to work, although obviously not for the more conservative workplace.

Runs true to size

You will want to be brave to wear this top – it’s shaped like an enormous puffy pumpkin, and the black and orange combo is beyond bold. I absolutely loved it. While it runs large (it literally puffs out in a giant sphere in all 4 directions, front back and sides), the openings for the arms are snug so I would be wary of sizing down – it’s not going to be a close fit no matter what. It looks fantastic over a short tight skirt, it can be worn also over a straight-cut dress, skinny jeans or pants, it even looks ok with a pair of black shorts. It’s cotton poplin, so it’s a bit prone to wrinkling, but I didn’t end up ironing before wearing. So fashionable and unusual, the perfect rental piece.

A wacky shirt that really says "I'm a confident person!"

Structured. Modest. Fun. Mine arrived slightly damaged (tiny mark and some fraying on a seam). Still sigh-inducing.

I love this top!! It's definitely on the larger side, but it somehow still is super flattering. I wore it twice -- to dinner with friends and to work -- and got tons of compliments both times. I kind of felt like a pumpkin, but in a super chic way. (Hmm: should I rent it again at Halloween?) The fabric is a bit on the starchy side but that doesn't bother me. All in all, definitely a fun top to wear especially for work!

I'd buy it if it wasn't $$$. So unique and takes the right person to wear this because you will stand out. My husband thought I looked like a pumpkin but many many others complimented me on a fun shirt. I wore with leggings and silver heels

It's super billowy and drapes beautifully. It's DRAMATIC but looks great with skinny jeans or leggings. Let's face it: It's not a figure-flattering top by any stretch of the imagination, but the drama makes it so cool.

Has a parachute quality to the piece

This shirt is really large, and it looks like a pumpkin. That said, it's cool. Another reviewer noted that, even though the fit is huge, the armholes are small, so it wouldn't necessarily help to size down unless you have very thin arms. I agree with that assessment.

very comfy

True to form, Marni really delivers with this show-stopping, architectural piece. Sadly, it's too big and the top was really overwhelming on me. I do think this one should be reserved for taller girls. The top would be too much on more petite ladies. It's genuinely gorgeous.

I was so excited about this but I just couldn't make it work for me. Is a ton of material. Also it had a big stain on front so would have had to rerent to actually wear out.

The top was very, very big, so definitively suggest renting a size down. Didn't wear it in the end.

Because if it's balloon shape, it really resembled a Halloween costume. If it was blue or any other color I think I could have pulled it off. Very comfortable and forgiving.

This was way too large for me. Looked like I was wearing a tent. If I was a little taller, I could probably have pulled it off. Definitely not for petite girls.

I was excited to order this top since it looked very modern and interesting, unfortunately I tried to make it work several different ways but I just couldn't love it. The top is very oversized and has a ton of fabric in the back. It just didn't look flattering and I feel like I looked like a huge pumpkin in it.

I absolutely loved this top, but because it has a big silhouette, if you are ordering in sizes 10 or higher, I suggest ordering one or two sizes down. Also, do not order this top in October, the orange and black has the effect of making you look like a pumpkin.
