I have wanted to rent this dress since it first appeared on RTR- it was finally available! I thought this dress fit me perfectly with a minor long strap situation. And the pleats, so well done! I often think pleats add width to the stomach area but not with this dress! Perfection! If it were less expensive I would totally buy it!

Nice quality dress. My only regret is not getting a size smaller. It was loose in the shoulder straps (so they would fall down and you see my bra) and a little large in the stomach. It isn't the most flattering dress but the pattern makes it interesting.

This dress is so comfortable to wear. The fitting was perfect for my body type. I love how thick the material is so on windy days, I don't have to worry about exposure. The print is fun! It's a perfect summer outfit.

Beautiful material on the dress, cute cut and fit perfectly. Usually wear a size 6 in dresses. Flowy and crisp material, great for relaxing at home during quarantine.

Flattering fit although the straps may be too long for shorter gals. At 5'7" they were sliding off my shoulders. So many compliments that I will definitely rent again! Loved it!

Like the dress it is great for the office. The pleating on the skirt creates great movement and the fabric is super soft.

Wore this on vacation and also to my daughter's college graduation, I didn't want to give it back! This dress is super comfortable and retro, reminded me of the '50s. The skirt is very full, the fabric is light and soft. It's such a fun dress to wear! I would have bought it if it wasn't so expensive. You can wear a regular bra with it. The straps did fall off my shoulders at times, they're a little long. I wore ballet flats with it for practical purposes, but is is absolutely banging with heels! I loved the pockets, they're deep enough that I was able to keep my I-phone, lipstick, and glasses in them (and didn't need to carry a handbag). This dress looks much better in person than it does in this photograph, extremely flattering and makes your waist look tiny. Works well with a larger bust (36D) hourglass shape, and the length was perfect (I'm 5'8). The colors are great! I'm going to miss this one.

Fit really well around the middle! I loved the material and it felt really sophisticated. Would rent again. Usually wear a 4/6 and the 40R was perfect.

I am in love with the material of this dress. The skirt was very full but the material was lovely and very breathable. It was comfortable on a hot day! I wasn't sure about the full skirt but I found the dress overall to be very slimming! The colors were not something I would normally pick for myself but I am so glad I tried this dress out. Only con: it was slightly large in the chest, which is a problem I generally do not have. I fixed this by wearing a cardigan but even without you couldn't really tell unless you were looking down from above me. Overall, great find!

LOVED THIS DRESS! Got so many compliments. Super comfy, only problem i ran into was that even with the zipper fully unzipped, it was hard to pull up over the butt, so over the head is a better way to take it on and off lol

Very 50s silhouette - something especially about the seam under the bust kind of lifts and shapes in a contrived form, even for a very flat-chested gal like me. Full circle skirt, high square neckline, wide straps all very conservative generally but fit is flattering. Material is thin and light (sort of crinkly/papery in its crispness) so it’s voluminous but not too heavy. Has pockets, oversized loop hardware on back zip is very hip and high-end looking but also practical (makes it super easy to zip).

I rented this stunner with my unlimited membership for work and also ended up wearing for play! Cotton frock has no stretch in fabric, although construction at back is highly elastic. Pros: loved the print and colors, bright yellow is my absolute favorite thing right now! The silhouette was very mad men/1950/1960s which was flattering if a bit much. Pull ring on zipper was clutch. Cons: mine came damaged with a safety pin situation that had been missed in cleaning - that always makes me wonder what's up with quality control. Shoulder straps were a little loose on me AND for a dress of this quality I was surprised the designer did not build in bra carriers. I styled for work with black suede and mesh pumps, a black bolero when it got chilly from AC and giant yellow rented earrings; for play I swapped pumps for sneakers and lost the sweater.

The idea of the dress was great but the fit was not flattering on my shape. There was a lot of extra fabric around the waist and my breasts couldn't fit in the tiny top part they were supposed to..sad.

Fit well in the chest (36E) and overall comfy to wear all day. The dress was a bit heavy because there was so much fabric. The zipper was hard to get up and down. Beautiful dress.

If you waist and bust are close in size then this is the dress for you. I an very hourglass and could not zip it past my waist. My friend that is a size smaller and a Apple shape the bust fit but the waist was to big. Loved the detail of the skirt.

Like the other reviews, I experienced the same problem from the first couple minutes of wearing the dress. Maybe you’re supposed to have a really long torso or broad shoulders, but they kept slipping off constantly and it drove me crazy. Comfortable material and nice pattern otherwise.

Absolutely gigantic on top

Gorgeous dress...the top ran really big, though, which is usually not my problem. The fabric is amazing, and it hides lots of flaws. I received lots of compliments on this dress.

I loved wearing this dress. You can tell it is very well made. The fabric is very good quality. The fabric feels heavy and has some structure. It is beautiful but also comfortable. I loved the pockets. I am very petite and it was probably a little longer on me than it should be, but I like long dresses. It has a 50s classic vibe. The back has stretchy ruching so I feel like it would fit a variety of sizes. It's overall a very pretty dress. I really enjoyed wearing it.

I love this dress. I think the pattern is very retro cool but not crazy. I found it very comfortable and flattering. I felt very thin because the bottom skirt is full so it makes your waist appear smaller. Great day dress or work or date I guess too...

I wore this beautiful dress for Thanksgiving dinner in Florida. It is a gorgeous weight, has pockets, and garnered a ton of compliments. The only thing that didn't work for me very well was that I am pretty short in the torso, so the top of the dress was a bit floppy and I had to pull the straps up all the time. If I owned it, I would have to have it tailored. Otherwise, it was possibly the most wonderful dress I have ever worn for a family holiday!

If you're big busted and need a dress with thick straps to cover your bra straps, this is it. The material is lovely. I wore a short sweater with it to transition to fall and that worked well.

As a tall and super skinny girl it is always hard to find something that fits absolutely perfect in every way. I have no complaints about this dress. It was very waist flattering and the length was perfect for the Concert I was attending. Overall, would definitely rent again sometime soon!

Beautiful, flattering, light fabric. Gapped a little at the neckline, which kept it from being a home run. It also runs fairly large (things are not usually loose on me in the bodice, but this was).

Must have a waistline for proper fit. Or try sizing up Its not a size issue, just a cut/style thing
