fit feels a little weird at first (extra fabric around stomach area), but with a belt it looks great. also looks amazing on zoom calls and perfect for work in person with a tailored blazer

Perfect weekend dress to do kids activities. Love the print and comfy except a little tight around the neck when fully zipped.

Marni is probably my favorite designer that RTR carries, and this dress did not disappoint. The fabric is a thin, crinkly cotton, a bit stiff. The shape of the dress is a true A-line, so it does not cinch in at the waist. The shape is probably most flattering on a frame with narrow shoulders and wider hips which the A-shaped flare will accentuate. The dress was plenty big on me, I would say it runs typical for Marni which is slightly large – if you are between sizes you can go with your smaller size, although I wouldn’t size down from a usual size. The length was modest, coming to the top of my knee. The only place that was tight was the neck – it is quite high in the neck and is cut rather straight across at the throat, but this didn’t really bother me. If you are doing something very active, it might pull more and be annoying. I do wish the zipper I loved the print, the fit, and the style, and all in all is one of my favorite rentals.

Very little shape and hangs like a hospital gown, but cool pattern and nice fabric. The neck is weirdly tight, which was my least favorite part - everytime I sat down I had to sort of pull the neck forward to keep it from choking me. Fit is a little big in general so you can size down if your primary size is out, I am a 6 and the 42 was fine.

Wore this dress several times, both belted as well as without a belt. It's pretty comfortable and does not wrinkle whatsoever. Great for hot weather.

This dress was fine, but given the retail and buy it now prices, I was expecting more. It was just Ok. As other reviewers have said, the neck is extremely tiny; I felt like I was being checked every time I sat down and I have a very long thin neck. Pattern and cut were cute, and it looked good with a denim jacket on a cool evening. It also lacked pockets, ugh. It would have been so easy for the designer to have added them.

This has a strange drop-waist that perhaps would look good on someone very tall or with a very long mid-section. But it was not flattering at all. It hung with what seemed like a lot of extra fabric around the mid-section. The print was lovely and it was a professional-looking dress. The neck is VERY tight. I found it to be an ok dress but definitely not one I would rent again.

This dress has incredible fabric - the color and print are to die for. But the fit is so off! It's tight around the neck (which I don't mind) but very baggy everywhere else. Might work well if I was 5 months pregnant but otherwise not flattering at all. I still wore it to work but felt self-conscious. Would hesitate to try a Marni dress again.

I have rented many Marni dresses and this was definitely my least favorite. Pros: Color was very pretty and eye catching. Appropriate length for work . I am 5'9" and it hit just above the knee. Cons: Material was thin and bunched up in the front when walking - was pulling it down all day. Very tight at the neck / collarbone, but that is typical of Marni dresses.

The reviews weren't wrong about the tight neck!! This dress was a cute print but thin, not very flattering and rides up a bit with tights. Wouldn't rent again.

Runs big and didn't quite fit

Ran a bit long for me; if it were mine, I'd have it shortened by an inch or so. No matter though. It was darling. High round neck with great seams to dress it up. I saw in other reviews references to hospital gowns, and it's not too far off, but Marni's tailoring keeps it cool, not house dress.

It's a summer ONLY dress. Didn't get to wear it but I did try it on. Super cute and great fit!

It does not have lining around the waist, so I used a belt to make it better fit.

fits a little large. and then looks shapeless and when I added a belt, it was too short for me. I might try another time in the smaller size.

The neck was slightly tight and the neck area leading to the bust did not lay flat. I have an athletic build, so the extra puffing in that area did not really flatter my figure. However, I threw on a long cardigan and that helped even out the proportions. I love the fabric and the overall idea of the dress.

Adorable but tight in the neck. It's fine when you are not sitting but you have to adjust it frequently.

I rented because I love Marni prints but the fabric of this felt very summery... almost like a men's bathing suit. Didn't feel right for december even though it would have looked cute with tights. I'll consider re-renting in the spring.

Lovely fabric, even prettier in person and loved the style of the dress. Unfortunately I felt like the proportions of the dress made it fit strangely. Like some users have mentioned, I found the neck to be really tight (but not to the point it was unwearable).

Rented for work, ended up wearing it for casual Friday because of the fabric. Looked a bit like a medical smock? Cute pattern, weird dress.

I love a good A-line dress and always expect it to run a little large. However, this dress fit very strangely, the neck was so tight I couldn't zip it all the way up and I am not known for having a large neck. Overall I like the pattern but the fit was just kind of off. Totally thought I would love this dress more than I did, bummer.

I was really excited about this one. The colors and shape reminded me of my grandma's old house dresses. Unfortunately, the neck is tight, and it isn't a proper A-line. I love a good weird dress but this one isn't it.

Probably great for straight and narrow ladies. Felt like wearing a bag on someone hourglass. Did not wear it for more than 5 seconds. Zipper was also kind of awkward and only about 6 inches long, just so you can get your head through.

I love the print on this dress and didn't mine the shape so I was really looking forward to wearing this. However, the size ran pretty large and it was much longer than I expected. I wish I had gone down a size. I don't think a belt and the right shoes are going to save this one.

When I saw this dress retails for a thousand dollars, I had to check it out. If I hadn't known that, I wouldn't have guessed. This appeared in the app as "new" this winter, so there were no reviews. The material is lightweight and the dress is not lined. I sent it back without wearing because it was too cold to wear. I'd give the designer another try with something that already had reviews.

I am a solid 8 in RTR dresses, so I got this in a 44. I was swimming in it- it was so shapeless and baggy. I tried a belt to help, but because there is a seam at the waist on the dress that didn't sit where the belt was, it looked odd. I loved the fabric and print and really wanted to wear it. I may try again in a smaller size

Beautiful pattern. Unfortunately the dress was overall too large for me. With an althletic build, I would recommend a size down. Would like to try with a smaller size.
