Chic dress. Not for curvy women.
Really gorgeous pattern and high-quality material. Drapes beautifully but not if you're overly curvy. Could probably use a belt.

So unique but not very flattering
This dress fit perfectly and was super comfortable all night, the only bummer is that it isn't very flattering in photos. In person it was lovely!

Fab print but needs a belt
Work this for a work offsite - runs a bit large especially in the bust/underarm area. On my frame, this tended to only look good belted, but had to find a perfect skinny belt (otherwise sort of frumpy - and the wider belts overwhelmed the silhouette). I also had to tuck in the sleeves a bit, otherwise they look a sloppy because they are crazy long. I loved the print and length and would recommend wearing with tights and heeled ankle boots!

Professional fit, beautiful print - best for taller figures
Not my very favorite Marni dress but I love this brand and as usual the beautiful print and quality details (zipper with hook AND snap, hem on the sleeves was especially nice). In general, the fit is very conservative and probably ideal for those who are tall, as the length and proportion will be large on anyone even if average height. The hem falls long, the cut is straight and generous, and the sleeves are also very long - I have really long arms and also love a sleeve that pulls down over my hand instead of hiking up my wrist. Overall with a heel, I found it to be a super elegant work look - very feminine while being neither juvenile nor sexy which imo is a pretty valid and hard-to find niche.

Very Odd
Gorgeous print and fabric and very comfortable but I wouldn't recommend the fit. It was extremely roomy, which made it comfy and forgiving around my hips and waist, but it was completely shapeless. I wore it belted first which was a little cuter but still awkward. I probably could have gone down another size. I have the worlds longest arms and these sleeves were still almost to my fingertips. Overall it was wearable and I actually got a lot of compliments but I wouldn't seek this one out unless you're very straight and very very tall and size down.

WAY too big
I rented this for a work trip & I was not able to wear it at all. It ran WAY too big, it could have just been ignorance on my side with the EURO sizing but it was unfortunately way too large to make work. It was a pretty baggy fit to begin with as well.

Awesome look and quality
I styled up for a fun look: net tights, sleeveless vest, and color sneakers. Worn to work and got lots of compliments.

Not great for pear shape.
Sleeves were long, but I can understand that you can style them to work. The hip area was too tight for me. Also the separate black slip was to short and did n'y help with the fit of the dress. Fabric pattern was beautiful.

Easy to wear, can throw it on and go to the office! Got compliments every time I wore it.
Best with no belt and a pair of heels. Sleeves a bit long but you can tuck them up and it looks great.

Fantastic dress! Very versatile
I rented this dress for a casual dinner party in wine country. It was so comfortable and I got so many compliments on it that I ended up taking it with me to my husband's business school reunion on the East Coast. It was perfect for the Saturday afternoon lunch, and again I got many compliments on it. It hangs beautifully and travels really well.

Nice dress but REALLY needs a belt
This dress worked for me with strings of pearls, a black leather belt, and my usual black tights and boots. The pattern is great and it hangs nicely with a belt. But it REALLY needs a belt -- it is huge, and long, otherwise. And as there are no belt loops, I found I had to be vigilant about keeping it from escaping from my own belt, especially when I was walking.

For tall people
I loved this beautiful big sack. It is really going to be best on someone 5'11" or over, however. There are things you can do with shoes and a belt to help the proportions, but I really feel like the best way to style this is to be runway-model tall. I wasn't really tall enough at 5'7", even with heels, but I enjoyed wearing it anyway.

Great print
This was the perfect sack dress to wear to my tech office. The sleeves were bizarrely long, but I easily folded them up. Great print - I felt very professional.

Easy autumn office dress.
This is up my alley tho I see what other reviewers were saying about it being mousey. It hit me slightly above mid calf. It doesn't hug the body at all but still has a bit of shape. Great with ankle boots. The arms are ridiculously long...I have long arms and I folded about 5 inches up.

Gorgeous but long
I would've loved to wear this but at 5'3", it was a little too long for me (length and in the sleeves). It would be an amazing work to evening transition dress.

Much longer than pictures
Very pretty dress, lightweight fabric with stretch, unfortunately on my 5'4 frame it hit me mid calf. I opted to not wear this dress because i felt very mousey in it and it just didnt look good for work in the winter with boots for me. I think i wojld have liked in the spring with some strappy heels. Also i would have worn it belted. It looked great minus the length, tall girls out there will enjoy!

Long all over
Petite women beware - this one is a real miss. The sleeves were almost to my finger tips. I'm really short, so I'm used to dresses being longer on me than in photos, but this was a shapeless ankle-length sack - it wasn't cut in a way that I could get away with the extra length. Would only recommend for about 5'7" and up.
