Want to keep forever
Sending this one back is really hard. Wishing I had the lifestyle to be able to buy it and own it. It was a little big in my waist so I chose to belt it. Such an incredible and unique piece.

This one was hard to let go! Perfect body hugging...but not too tight. Bootilicious!! Its sheer, so I rocked leggings and a bodysuit under. :)

It's a YES!
Rocked this at 32 weeks pregnant! Was so comfy and I loved the retro vibe! I think this works with a bump or without! Would totally wear either way! Needs a slip under it- not liner and doesn't have one built in. So make sure you have one on hand. I wore a black one - but would probably prefer flesh, Burgundy, or the cognac color for next time. Very warm too. Will definitely rent post pregnancy! If you're not afraid of a statement piece than this is the one for you!!!

Absolutely stunning.. but see-through!
I am obsessed with this rental! It fits like a glove. Just beware that the purple squares are definitely made with see-through knit. I ended up wearing the dress with a nude tank top and nude slip, which worked perfectly for me!

Just a peak of skin
Love the alternating translucent and solid rectangles. The peak of skin, with a nice long length for a midi, made me feel sexy but covered up. Does not come w an under dress, I have a black spaghetti strap body con that worked perfect, and I prefer supplying my one instead of being stuck w whatever length and tightness it could have come with if the underdress had been sewn in. Wore w snake skin boots but almost wore w cheetah print flats.

This dress is really nice and attention getting. But you definitely need a nice slip you don't mind people seeing. This dress is almost completely sheer.

Taking a chance dress.
Was in the mood to take a chance so I did with the dress and it did not disappoint. I wore black spanx and a bra under it (the netting was rather see- through) but with the right tight to the body under garments this is a really fun and unique dress.

A fashion wow!
Best for fall given the colors but wore in early spring. Medium weight, very comfortable and sexy. I felt very on point. Paired with nude sharp wear and it was perfect.

MARNI MARNI MARNI
Guys I LOVED wearing this dress! I will say it took a while for me to fall in love with it once I tried it on, (I was immediately obsessed when I saw it on the site...and then IRL, so that initial touch of disappointment was a bummer...I've adored Marni from afar for yearsss). Turns out I just had to figure out how to style it. Tried it first with a pinky nude bodysuit, but I didn't like all that pale showing through the ruby panels. It made the dress seem like the color scheme was ruby, rust, and white. (Not for me.) Didn't love it, even though I was expecting to play up the sheer factor from the get go. Tried it with a rust body...then the panels at my legs and arms and butt where glaring white. Nope. Wearing a long sleeved black body, thick black tights, and knee-high vintage Fryes from the 60s SEALED THE DEAL. Great day to night piece, went shopping, to brunch, and then late night cocktails and felt fab the whole day. Far more covered up than my normal going out look, I still felt sexy and super confident in this. Got complimented as well, which I'll always take! Will 100% rent again. I wish this was in my closet permanently!

The ultimate casual-cool, statement dress
I wore this to a very windy music festival. It's perfect for 65-75 degrees weather, given the thick fabric, and coverage. Big holes make it very breathable. I wore it with a burnt orange body suit and white sneakers. Received many compliments!

Unique dress- fun to wear
I ordered this dress in a larger than normal size, because I didn't want it to be too tight. I could have worn the smaller size and been fine. I ended up belting it so that it wouldn't look baggy. I was also worried about it being partially sheer, but that wasn't a big deal either. I wore a black slip dress under it.

Retro and fabulous
Sorry for the blurry photo. This dress is totally amazing and also comfortable. Not sure I really have the curves to do it justice, but nonetheless it looked great on. It's on the longer side so looks best with a heeled boot, and the red squares are totally sheer so for a work-appropriate look you will want a full slip or some other kind of undergarment, and it will need to be black if you want to wear black tights and/or boots - I wore a thin black stretchy pencil skirt and a uniqlo longsleeve warming shirt and it was perfect. For more of a casual/party look, tights or leggings (or even just shorts) and a bra would be ok, although you will be able to see your belly button through the fabric. It's VERY cute with a puffy coat that is waist or hip length so that's another solution that can cover the sheerness. The fit is forgiving as it's really stretchy but I would say it was true to size. Sleeves are nice and long (not cropped) and the wrists are snug but the turtleneck at least on the dress I received was loose rather than being a tight high neck - not sure if this is the design or if it was stretched out, but it looked fine as it was.

Unique and pretty
I loved this dress! I am 5'3, 125lbs and the 42r worked well for me, I could have sized down as well. The length was a little awkward on me as i am short but I really loved the style and fit. As others have noted, you need a slip!

I loved this dress. I am short but the length was short enough. It is see-through so i had to wear a slip under but it was ideal for a night that was between warm and chilly.

Love
Fit was spot on! This dress is not super tight fitting and very comfortable. It definitely has a dressy feel with the "see through" aspect so I wore it for Christmas then returned it knowing i wouldn't wear it for everyday attire. I wore a bronze colored slip and thought it looked great!

Birthday rental didn't disappoint
This dress is beautiful, however, you must wear a slip or bodysuit underneath because it's see-through but don't let that stop you. It's true to size but the fabric leaves some space without being overly baggy.

Unexpected
I wanted to try something different and the layers of unexpectedness definitely delivered. The dress has no slip or lining so the mesh squares are completely see through. Depending on your risk tolerance, putting on a slip or body suit with thick tights may be necessary. I wore this with a tank body suit, black tights and knee high boots to achieve my desired comfort level. Received tons of compliments.

This dress fit true to size, has stretch and hit my legs below mid calf. As the other reviews said, it is see-through so will need some sort of slip or something to cover whatever you want covered :)

Paired with belt bag and brogues for a sexy, but effortless look!
There was some extra fabric at the waist, so I choose to add a belt to accentuate what I'm working with! The burgundy knit is sheer, so I wore a bra underneath. This dress definitely got lots of attention!

Makes me somehow look even older than my old self! Belting made it worse...I think. Anyway it's not the dress' fault, just a frump-fest on me. Cute for curvy cute ladies!

It's was a fun style but not the right fit
Cozy looking dress, fun texture, cool colors The dress is sheer so you need to figure out what goes underneath (if you care!) The material doesn't give and the bulky knit made me look very large. It didn't sit right on me and wasn't comfortable.

Funky, but not necessarily flattering
I liked how unique this dress was, but between the check pattern and the construction of the dress it's not super flattering. That said I still got many compliments on it and thought it was really fun to wear. I wore with black tights and a black top underneath, and brown booties.

The Red Parts are SHEER!
Like many reviewers have mentioned the red parts are see-through. Plan on opaque tights or a slip. I found I could REALLY feel the cold in this dress. Might be better for warmer temps. Overall beautiful dress!

Beautifully made
This dress is really gorgeous but unfortunately I ended up not wearing it. The knit material is really nice up front, but from far away I just found the pattern and color combo to be kind of unappealing, or at least, not something I would normally wear. Having to buy a slip to wear underneath was a big turn-off too, so I just ended up returning it without wearing.

Awesome but less warm than youd think!!
This dress is deeply cool, checkered mesh and knit turtleneck midi dress. Note that the magenta panels are essentially transparent and have very wide holes. I wore black tights and a tank under it. It was still a little chilly on a crisp SF night-- dont plan to be toasty in it...
