The pattern and quality of the dress are great! It's not the best shape for a hourglass or curvy figure. I added a belt which helped a lot. On the short side so be careful if you are tall.

Another great Marni dress - classic and well-cut, and the print and color are really beautiful. One of my favorites. A great option for work because of the modest, comfortable longish shortsleeve, crew neck, and slightly above the knee length. It has a very typical shape for the designer with an especially straight cut. I often choose a 36 in Marni but 38 is also usually fine and in this one I’m glad the 38 is what was in stock because it’s slightly snug through the hips (I’m a bit of a pear) and there isn't much give. I’d say it is generally true to size as opposed to being true to size for Marni since their dresses usually run a bit large and this one kind of doesn't - your standard dress size would be fine or maybe size to the larger if you are between. The fabric is not really stretchy, it’s the heavier canvas-like but smooth fabric typical of this designer. It hangs very straight, it does not curve in at the waist at all, and some people will find it unflattering because of this. Probably will be most flattering and fit best/truest to size for straighter body types.

This is a extremely well made dress. Beautiful colors. Wore to work with black tights and booties. Perfect for the office. A little on the longer side. I loved it!

Easy to wear for work

Fit A-line, not too short for work, appropriate. Great colors, really liked it alot, lots of compliments through the day.

Always looking for dresses with sleeves to wear to work. Pop of color was nice. Fabric is somewhat structured. Unfortunately, size was way too big - ordered size 46/L and usually wear 8 in tops and 10 in dresses. I will try the next size down...maybe 2 sizes.

The fabric is phenomenal, however the overall cut is large and boxy. If you are tall and thin it might work. At 5'3, it hung like a tent past my knees. It looked silly.

This dress is gorgeous. Super solid construction and beautiful print. The fit and stiffness of fabric made it feel way to boxy. No flow and made me feel like i had a potato sack on. Everyone just kept commenting on the pretty pattern (vs saying they like it). Also, wish RTR would enable autocorrect on iphone keyboard!

Great color. Material is stiff so the dress hangs off the body and can look boxy.

The material is very thick and wrinkles easily. I did not wear it as it is very boxy and not flattering at all.

This was the most restrictive fit of any item I've ever tried on in my life.
