Fantastic dress
Comfortable and timeless, though I did think the dress ran large. Love it! All Marni pieces are so well made!

Comfortable and quirky cute. Not super flattering.
Heavier weight fabric so I wouldn't have worn it sleeveless. Wore a shirt under it. Cute but not sexy.

Perfect fall dress.
I picked this up in store and it was the only size left on the rack. I would rent again in a larger size for a more work appropriate fit but wore this with a jacket to work and to dinner and loved it. Excellent print and the material is thick - almost sweater material.

I love this one!
Great print and fit. Only downside is the hem doesn't totally lay flat at the side slits.

Fun pattern, great material!
Fun pattern, great material. Nice fall dress for work -- sleeveless but thicker material (I wore it with black tights and boots and took a cardigan just in case). It does seem to run a bit big - especially in the top. I could have probably sized down.

Fun mod dress
Great for fall, thicker knit, well made of course. Marni sizes are sometimes difficult for me but I managed to pick the right one here. Knee or slightly longer than knee length on my frame. Cool dress that got a lot of compliments. Would also like to try it with a white button up underneath.

Cute pattern, not cute cut
I liked the pattern and material but not the cut. Felt a bit like wearinf a potato sack. Good for when you're looking to hide your curves, I suppose!

Beautifully made but runs large/boxy
Love the mod design and heavy knit. But the dress was bulky in the midsection and didn't really do much for my figure. I'd say size down and accessorize with a belt.

This dress was super comfy and got some nice compliments!
This dress is mostly pros! The fabric is high quality and comfortable. The design is appealing but not over bearing. Keep in mind this is not a 'body con' style; there was definitely some unnecessary room left in the abdominal area for me. I'd rent this again. :)

Versatile, high-quality, comfortable, great-fitting dress
I wore this dress to an important day-long meeting in NYC. Then the following week I wore it to a contract negotiation, boat tour and dinner in Shanghai. Both times I styled it with a black blazer, black tights and tall grey suede boots. I looked and felt amazing the whole time and it was super comfortable.

Perfect fit for hourglass figure
If you have an hourglass figure, this dress shows off your shape well without having to use a belt. I wore it with a black turtleneck underneath during cold weather. Colors are on point and the fabric is heavy/warm.

Fab perky plaid!
Sleek but not fitted fit with cute medium-length side slits. Ever so slightly mod. Looks great with boots and awesome for holiday. Work appropriate. The line around the crew neck is cream colored, not white.

Sophisticated youthful professional look
This is a great piece - very Marni. The look is a bit like an English girl's jumper so it has an androgynous smock-like quality but it's also preppy-professional in a high-fashion sort of way. It's the dress version of a heavy-frame pair of glasses. Construction and materials are excellent like all Marni dresses - it's almost like a sweater dress (warm, soft, with some stretch) but it's not too stretchy and it's a little thicker so it drapes more like a structured A-line shift. It's definitely a little forgiving but not clingy, and I think if you rent it to your true size it fits a bit more straight and A-line, while if you are between sizes and size down it could be slightly more curve-fitting and body conscious. It's warm but sleeveless so it would be a good choice for a transitional month, although it also works well over a longsleeved shirt (I wore it over a thin black uniqlo warming shirt for winter in NYC), and I'm sure it would look fantastic with a jacket. A note about the color: I was really torn as to whether the third color was black or navy, because it looks navy in the pictures but I determined it was a soft black.

Fun work attire
I am surprised that the length works for me! However, the arm openings are too big. I had to wear a fitted black t-shirt underneath.

Nice Dress - But Best for Those Without Large Hips
Nice dress - skits up the side were a little high, but appropriate for work with tights. I found the fit to be pretty true to size overall - I found it to be a little tight on the hips and loose in the waist for me though, and so others with larger hips / narrower waists may have a similar issue. Nothing so bad I couldn't wear the dress - but not a "perfect fit".

Mod pattern, clean lines, well made.
Elegant yet mod and simple, very well made dress. Slits on the side keep it from being too conservative, though the fit is a little long and boxy.

Not for short women
Lovely, quality dress, designed for taller women. Length was laughable; armholes were huge. It's making me rethink every Marni dress on my list.

I wanted to love this...
It's such a cool winter dress. Cozy, thick, warm fabric, rad collar and cool pattern. It runs a little large but it's forgivable if you're into the look. It's just not made for curvy hips and butts. This made me look like Kim Kardashian, which isn't really my thing (though clearly there's a market for it!!), but it'll look very chic on a straight figure.

This style was a dud on my body. The colors were also unflattering against my olive skin. Would be better on a taller frame.
