Wore SO Many Times
This dress is so versatile. I wore it to work a few times, and for a train ride through the mountains with my toddler. Pairs well with any shoe. It is a bit tight around the arms.

Very Chic and versatile!
Dress is high quality and the pattern is a fun retro-feeling design - received lots of complements! I'm a consistent size 6 and the 40 (rented based on availability) was uncomfortably snug in the shoulders/chest. Was still able to wear the dress for brunch then straight home but would have preferred a 42!

Wonderful fit and pattern
Perfect for work meetings on a slightly chilly SoCal day (wore with opaque black tights but would be cute bare-legged!). Fabric is on the thicker side due to the high-quality lining which also makes this fairly flattering. Pattern is really easy on the eyes.

With Unlimited, try a different fit
I am used to fitted sheaths but took a gamble on this boxy look with exquisite fabric and detailing and ended up loving it. Why not try something new.

Perfect for a 60s themed party
Fun dress for a 60s themed party, not sure I would have rented it for anything else. Shoulders/arms were a little snug besides that it was true to size.

Good!
Fairly basic but designer dress to make you feel dressed on an ordinary work day! I Citi bike to work; glad I had bike shorts; the dress rides up!

Cute look but tight!
I always forget how much I hate wearing shift dresses to work!! I loved the look of this dress and the length when I put it on although it was tight in the neck. As a classic shift it rides up when you lift your arms up or sit. Sitting was so uncomfortable and that's what I do all day. I also wore with heels. If I rented again I'd size up and go with flats. This is perfect for work event or someone who doesn't sit all day at work.

Nice professional look
Loved this dress, a typical Marni silhouette that is great for work, in a geometric print that is more typical for a professional look than the Marni’s usual florals. I liked the color palette a lot (the light blue and sort of cool peach give dimension to the basic black and white), and there is nice white contrast-stitching at the chest and hems that add structure. Fit is true to size and typical for this style for Marni: rather slim through the shoulders and bust, with a straight shift shape through the body so not fitted at the waist and possibly a little tight in the hips if you (like me) are pear-shaped. I go with a 2 instead of a 0 in these dresses because of this. The length is slightly shorter than some of the other Marni dresses, which may be a plus for petites who find the proportions too conservative – on me the length was ok although I would have preferred it slightly longer especially for sitting at the office, and if you are tall you may find this too short when sitting.

Cute design but very boxy
I was really excited about this dress, as it's quite different than the other work dresses in my closet. However it was really boxy and not very flattering. The lining adds some volume as well. It almost feels likes it's slightly padded. I've never worn a Marni dress before. Maybe this is typical? I wore it anyway...

Definitely for a more narrow body shape
This dress is much thicker than I'd imagined it would be, and it was a small fit. Make sure to size up if you're curvy.

Cute dress but tight in shoulders
This is a very cute and well made shift dress. Loved the pattern and length. It fit through the body but was so tight in the shoulders and arms that I couldn't wear it. Sizing up wouldn't have helped because it would have been too large through the body. Definitely not for gals with broad shoulders!

Weird dress
It has the potential to be cute, but it's just not. I loved the longer sleeves on the dress. The dress overall fit fine, however, there was so much fabric and bunching in the chest/neck area. Also, I hated the material. It has a houndstooth look so it would have been so much better in a tweed.

Quintessential shift dress
Wore this to work with gray slip on sneakers for a more casual look. Like other reviewers mentioned, the shoulders are a bit restricting, as can be typically with shift dresses, but I didn't mind because it's super cute.

This is a fun dress.
This is made of very expensive material. It lays nice and looks nice. It is actually black with a baby blue and peach color. I thought it was navy from the picture. Either way it looked great on and is perfect for work.

I am 5'0 112 pounds and it was very small. My chest is a 32 C and it would barley zip.. very strange. Cute dress though and would love to rent in a size up.

Mod - just the way I like it
Good sheath dress. Covers all the flaws in the middle. Wore multiple times. Versatile for all seasons (maybe not when too hot - the lining may be too thick/heavy). Probably not for anyone with wide shoulders...or size up.

Easy, cute dress for work.
i liked this a lot, but definitely size up, especially if you are big chested like me. Even though i sized up it was still tight/a little bunchy in the chest. You can't tell on the model, but def long enough for work.

Cute and classic
I have never worn Marni before so was excited to try it out. Dress was very cute, simple, and professional. It definitely showed signs of wear. I felt the arms and butt were a TAD snug so I may have to size up next time and compare. Overall, happy with this rental.

Quirky conservative
This dress was a great work dress if you have a professional attire dress code. Pro: excellent rich fabric, colors much nicer and vibrant in person, great architectural structure/shape Con: you have to be into a progressive architectural shape for this to be a winner. This is advanced fashion I styled it with a vintage black and white a-line Rain trench, black suede and mesh pumps, a salmon suede clutch and silver jewelry. Perfection on a Monday.

Classic Marni.
Classic Marni: great stitching, nice fabric, expensive look. If I were purchasing, would have gone down a size but the shift style worked well for for a comfortable day at the office. Received a lot of compliments on this despite feeling like dress was a bit of a tent. Recommend sizing down given the boxy shift style. Colors are brighter than they appear in the picture - definitely a noteworthy and eye catching component of this dress.
