Rented this dress for work and sized down due to other reviews. The smaller size fit well but was pretty short so I wore with flats to work. Cute print, was fun with a chunky necklace. Fabric is fairly stiff which I liked- makes the dress seem nicer (which it should be, since it's Marni and $$$ to buy).

I am a big fan of the Marni designs and this dress was no exception! The fabric is substantial and is fully lined. It is so easy to wear and does not wrinkle. The shift shape hides anything trouble areas in belly or bottom. If anything this dress runs a bit big so maybe size down for backup. Would definitely rent again!

Enough room for big lunch belly. I like that fitting.

This Marni dress is true to size/ slightly large. The fabric feels almost like a light cotton canvas. It is a bit boxy but in a chic way. I love that it is very stylish and not typical (aka very Marni) and is completely appropriate for work and dinners out. My husband, who usually does not remark on such things, said that he thought the dress looked really nice and fit well. I love this dress!

This style is so versatile- easy to dress up or down depending on your event! Runs true to size but was a little tight on my 34DD bust area. Would be great for any body type!

This dress is spacious and definitely not form fitting. Excellent for work environment as it is conservative. Try it

This was a beautiful print and I received lots of compliments on it. However, it does wrinkle pretty easily. It also has a very boxy fit which is not the most figure flattering for a thinner person without a lot of curves.

I'd say this actually runs a bit small - it's quite fitted at the neck and under the arms so I found it got uncomfortable after awhile. Very stiff fabric with no give.

I loved the color and pattern of this dress but it was just a little too long for me. I'm only 5'4 but it came down to my knees! It seemed a little bit more like a smock than a shift...?

The arms fit true to size, the rest is slightly oversized, which is great.

This dress fit well and was work appropriate when paired with a long hunter green blazer, tights and pumps for work. FYI, there is no stretch in the fabric, so it does come up quite a bit when you raise your arms if you're worried about length.

Other people have said that this runs big, but I found it true to size. It's a shift dress, lined, with almost canvas-y material that is not at all stiff but holds its shape. I got complimented on it twice. It's a good cut for me. Might be short on someone taller, but was work appropriate for me. The color is very pretty, but dress is starting to be faded.

i actually wore this over cropped black flare jeans, with a suede vest over it, since i was going to the movies and didn't want to be chilly in the theater. it would still be cute on its own though. it's a thick cotton fabric. i would recommend this for work, or a date perhaps, it's not super fancy. i loved the pattern. when you sit down it will ride up quite a bit, fyi.

When I opened this up, I was a little "eh" but I absolutely loved wearing it. It is so well made, the lining feels like pajamas. It was the perfect wear to work dress for August. A bold and fun pattern, super comfortable, plenty conservative for work and something more fun than the standard dress.

I got a ton of compliments in this dress. It works well for the office and drinks afterwards.

Great dress but very boxy so if you want something to show off more of your figure, don't go with this one. But overall a perfect dinner dress. Wore it for Christmas Day dinner and received many compliments!

While this dress doesn't do anything for your shape, it is so easy to just throw on and go. The print is really fun and it is very comfortable. The fabric is structured and lays really nicely.

The dress was pretty with a true to size fit. Unfortunately, the fabric was pretty washed out. Should probably be retired.

Fit well. Can be a bit short when sitting, but just depends on the environment you're in and personal style. One thing I thought was annoying was that the neck would almost choke me when I'd sit down, so I was constantly tugging at it. It wasn't *too* bad, just a bit annoying. Otherwise a totally cute dress I paired with some dark blue wedges and jewelry. Perfect for Spring!

I may have ordered the wrong size when I went with the 36, so it fit very snug in the shoulders and chest. Size 36 is probably more like a true size 0 and I need 2 with room in the chest. Just beware it has zero stretch. The print and color is beautiful, fabric is thick and lined so definitely work appropriate, which is where I wore it.

My shoulders aren't crazy broad, but this dress was tight across the chest. This caused the crew neck to dig into my neck a little, which was uncomfortable. Otherwise the fit was true and the length was fine for work, even for us tall ladies.

Others thought this dress ran large, however, when I sized down the fit was totally wrong. Tight in the hips and refused to lay properly. So I would recommend getting your correct size! The dress is supposed to be a baggier shift and looks better that way I imagine.

I did end up wearing the dress but the material is very stiff and the dress is boxy so it was not very complimenting on my body type (pear). Also, it is quite short so I would plan to wear flats or small heel.

Definitely runs big. I liked the print and the shape a lot but it was an awkward, sort of dowdy length on me. I wore it with white sneakers and it looked cool but definitely not the most flattering look.

I rented this dress for a work event. The material is thick and the dress appears to be well made but it had absolutely no shape.

I generally wear a size 10. The 44 was much too large and boxy. Looked like a potato sack. Overall the dress was pretty, nice weight of material and would have been a great casual dress to run around in.
