The fit was not perfect (found the arm holes a little small and the mid section not super fitted) but still found this flattering and loved the dress. Felt very trendy

This dress is SUPER short - usually I find that the proportions are really off on a dress this short, but it was actually really really cute. However, I’m only 5’6” and the dress was barely passable in my creative office in the summertime (where pretty much anything goes). The extensive thigh exposure is balanced a bit by the flared skirt and the higher neckline. I would love to try it again in the fall when I could wear it with tights and feel a little less exposed. It’s perfect for a party where you are standing as the silhouette is great and also really shows off your legs. The fabric is kind of a thick double-knit (like a sweatshirt, or almost like a scuba but not shiny) and the print is has a fantastic 70s vibe - colors are a little duller than in the pics, especially the white/beige areas. As opposed to many of Marni boxier dresses, this fits more traditionally and to size - it’s shaped more like an hourglass body.

Generous cut, I wore to work with some Tory wedges, could edge it up a bit whey boots. Very fun print and gorgeous fabric. Flattering fit, would cover any issues you might have in the midsection area. Great to mix it up with a fun dress especially if you have unlimited

It was cold the day I wore this so I put a black t on underneath. This dress was so comfortable and I loved the flirty flip of the skirt. I feel like it maybe made me look one size bigger than I am, but it seems like most Marni stuff is cut that way.

Great fabric, soft and thick enough for fall or winter. The colors were a bit more muted than in the picture, but lovely and earthy. A bit short (I'm only 5'3") but work-friendly with tights.

I am in love with this very Megan Draper dress. It's a very thick material, very forgiving, cute cut. I added a cropped turtleneck underneath, black tights, and charcoal boots. Will be sad when it's time to send it back!

The fabrication and coloration of this dress is incredible! The fit and length were perfect. I wore this to work and dinner in the park with dusty pink ballet flats. Think it is great from summer or early fall.

I loved this dress. I received so many compliments. The fabric is thick but not too thick. I wore it on an August day and was fine. It stretched just enough to slightly hug my curves. This might not be a dress for ladies with longer legs, I definitely felt a slight draft and could see it being a bit problematic for longer legs.

This dress can be worn many different ways. Received a lot of compliments at work. People thought it was a fun scuba-material skirt, then I wore it without a jacket. Beautiful colors, quality fabric, designer cut... great for work.

This dress was made of a thick, high quality fabric with an interesting print. I loved the fit of the dress. It was sort of a drop waist but the upper part of the dress was still tailored. It was a great length hitting above the knee without being too short. I was able to wear it to church and to work and received many compliments.

After my first MARNI experience w a dress too big, I decided to check their website for a size chart. Glad I did, as they converted Italian to US a little diff than RTR. That meant this size was perfect for me (they listed as a 6 equip not a 4). If I needed to rent again and this size wasn't available I am sure I could go one down, too. Dress fit great and the color pallet was just perfect w my skin and blue eyes and worked surprisingly well on a cloudy Easter Day! Lots of compliments and I really felt confident wearing this dress. Will consider renting again, the high neckline makes it great for business/professional wear.

Feel like I'm transported back to the 1970s in this trendy bold pattern. The length is great for work and the material is very comfortable as well. I am in love with the fun flare on the dress, giving it a flirty feel. Due to the neckline, you are able to wear this dress with a standard bra . For shoes, I recommend pairing this dress with a nude or black shoe.

This dress was really big and boxy. Not sure if it runs large or if I picked the wrong size. Also- the print isn't as bright as it was in the picture. Regardless of all this it is a super rad piece that I am excited to wear. PS tall girls - it's on the short side.

I loved this pattern, but not so much the fit. It's not fitted in the top section and the shoulder width is very wide. Being pear shaped, it didn't look so great. After adding a cardigan and tights, I felt much more comfortable. Received many compliments because of the print!

Rented the size 44 but it was too big on the waist but I wore it anyway.... then since i noticed the material was stretchy I rented the 40 and that fit a lot better.

This is a really cute dress...got several compliments. Marni cuts are a bit boxy. The 36 may have been more flattering. Enjoyed wearing it nonetheless.

I love this dress, very flattering and the pattern certainly stands out. It's a bit on the short side for my frame, but looked cute with leggings. My husband even really liked it (he rarely has an opinion either way). Would definitely rent this again.

I love this dress. The print is gorgeous, and the fabric is a smooth knit material that has just the right balance of structure and stretch. I was fine on a breezy summer evening, but it might be a little hot once temps get into the 90s. The only thing is that it runs really big! I knew this going in from other reviews, so I purposely erred for the smaller size (I'm between a 4 and a 6), but I could still grab about an inch or two of excess fabric around my waist. Will rent again in a smaller size next time! #Sweeps Entry but the opinions in my review are my own honest views.

I wore this to work and was very comfortable. Colors aren't as bright as in the RTR pic, but still a great print. Definitely size down at least one size. I'm usually a size 4, and the size 2 was still a little big. The fabric is a nice thick/quality fabric, and the cut of the dress is flattering. Not sure why this retails for such a high price, but I'm glad RTR unlimited gave me a chance to try it out for much cheaper.

Go down one size if you want more fit. Else stay at normal size if you like to be comfy.

Wore this to to work and everyone loved it! Colors are cheerful and stand out. I was the best-dressed lawyer in town that day! Wore it again out to dinner at one of the better local restaurants too. It was too big but fabric was very comfortable and flattering--knit, but not too clingy, and it hung so beautifully that it still looked good. Arrived brand-new with tags on. Great pick RTR!

I ordered my regular size and it fit well across the shoulders, room at the bust (I'm a 34DDD), then it went straight down and out at the skirt. Pros: The fabric is beautiful and has a nice weight to it, the skirt was a nice length and had movement. The back zipper has a great "grab" tie on it so its easy to zip. Easy to tell its a well made, expensive item. Cons: A bit wide at the shoulder for my frame, and I felt like I could have used the size down - overall it was just too big feeling. I tried belting it and wearing without a belt, and in the end, I felt like I was swimming a bit. I am busty, so I'm guessing if you are less endowed than I, and perhaps if you have a straighter figure you may even want to go down 2 sizes. Give it a try, its easy to wear, modern and stylish.

This dress is really comfortable. It was a little big around the torso area and also really short. I am 5'3" and so I can only imagine how short it would seem on a tall person. Was a fun dress to wear though.

I don't know why, but I was expecting a scuba-type fabric (probably because the reviews said it was a thick fabric). When I got it and saw that it was a thick knit (like cotton), I was a little disappointed because I thought it made the colors look a little less bright than the pictures. I still liked it though. Liked the shift shape with the tulip flare at the bottom. I wore it to my godson's baptism and the dress looked like stained glass. :)

Cute print, but it was darker than the picture indicated and I think it would be better for fall. The dress in a US 4 was very loose, but also very short. I would not want to order a small one for fear of it being even shorter. If you are shorter that 5'5" or looking for something very short than this would be cute on you.

Highly versatile: Worn with jacket for a more formal work event, by itself for a fun out about the city and with blouse underneath for a less formal everyday look. Some photos have skirt drape very high mid thigh but I found this to hit right above my knee. Wish it had pockets though

The dress is a winner. It was a departure for me as I wear a lot of simple black to work but this looked great with a cropped jacket (black). Easily goes from work to dinner. Got lots of compliments. I'm short-- the length was great for my conservative job.

i wear a 4 usually so 40 in Euro but it runs really big and a smaller would have been perfect :)

The pattern is what sold me, when it arrived it was much more 'fall-hued' than it appeared on the website, which was a pleasant surprise. The fit was a bit large, one should def order one size smaller than usual (maybe 2 if you aren't busty like I am). I wore this to a big meeting at a fashion company and everyone raved over it. Big points! It was very comfortable and can be worn for business, casual or something more fancy even. Loved it! Would rent again!

The color is not as bright as in the picture so I was surprised, more of the brown family however loved it and it was perfect for a night out with the girls; the dress is comfortable to wear and fun; I topped it off with a jean jacket with heels and loved it!
