Loose fit, easy to wear.

Lovely dress! Fit is normal and very easy because the dress is loose. Heavy dress but still fine for hot weather. I wore it in 85 degrees and it was fine.

This tunic by Marni is absolutely stunning. I paired it with the Estate Pop Cuff by Eddie Borgo to compliment the gold floral print for a country club bridal shower. The ruffle detailing on the pockets not only add length but a bit of femininity to this dress. I wore a size 40 but could have definitely gone a size smaller depending on personal preference on fit. Definitely recommend this piece by Marni!

I had 11! Wedding invites this year so to keep things interesting, using RTR I try to rent based on the bride. This bride is very into fashion and with Style Pass I could afford Marni for once. I LOVED this pattern and shift shape, plus pockets!! It was a long wedding too and it was extremely comfortable. The tricky part for me was having narrow shoulders I had to learn my angles but otherwise I could pack in a few more bread rolls w my vodka sodas. Definitely a unique and comfortable number.

So incredibly comfortable. Loved this shift dress for travel and a day of meetings. The oversized pockets and ruffles were a unique touch and I received tons of compliments. Would also suggest wearing this with sneakers and a jean jacket to dress it down a bit.

The original dress I rented was unavailable so I selected this one last minute. I'm so glad it worked out! I would say this dress runs large. I've recently gained weight so I've been more of an 8 than a 6, but this 6 (42) fit perfect. Only place it wasn't loose was my hips (I have wide ones) but it wasn't tight by any means. Has pockets! Had so many compliments. Arm holes aren't too big so bra won't show on the side. I'm also a DDD and it wasn't too tight on my chest. I would ABSOLUTELY rent this again, so many compliments.

I love this dress so much I don't want to send it back. It's an easy fitting dress with beautiful details on the pockets. You can dress it down with sandals and a jean jacket. You could also wear it with heels for a party. So fun! I'm going to hang on to this one.

I've rented this dress in all black before. This one is a slightly lighter weight fabric and is a dark navy. I loved it. So comfortable and easy but still looks put together. There was a bit of extra fabric around the waist but not so much that I didn't love wearing it.

I am an honest reviewer and I don't have anything negative to say about this dress. It's a heavy fabric which can be a deterrent, but I live in Texas and it didn't make me feel any hotter than anything else that I own. I wore this dress to a wine event & paired it with boots - it would look great with heels or fancy flats, you really can't go wrong. It's a little short up my legs when I sit so I haven't worn it to work, but it's suitable for any other occasion. There is a zipper on the side, but its still a very breathable dress. Can't wait to wear it again!

Loved the print.. Well made dress, material used is high quality for sure. It isn't super light, there is some substance to it, so I was a little hot wearing to walk around NYC during the day, was perfect for dinner and drinks at night

Ran a bit big but that made it so comfortable and great for dancing around at a concert! The quality is unbelievable. It's somewhat heavy when you hold the dress but it gives it a nice weight so it dos fly around or wrinkle. The pockets are awesome even though you can't tell in this picture. Would definitely rent again. My first marni rental but definitely not my last! :)

I wore it with a camisole underneath and a navy cardigan (this dress is navy, NOT black), black tights and high black boots. The pockets and ruffles on the side give a very unique look-- girlie and little boho. It is comfortable and fun to wear!

Loose, light, flowing, yet with nice shape. Soft and supple, substantive fabric, great cut and stitch. A well made piece. Received tons of compliments. Wore it w/ black long sleeve shirt, black tights and boots - can be funky or delicate depending on the event and weather.

This dress could look fresh for all seasons. I wore this in winter with a black turtleneck and black tights. It also looked nice with no winter layering, however if you have long legs it may be a bit short for work sans tights. The ruffles are sophisticated and don't come off as "young". Marni can be difficult to wear as the styles are sometimes too roomy or boxy. This had straight lines but an easy fit.

I wore this dress to meet my boyfriend's parents for the first time, and it was both classy and fun. I'm about 5 ft 2 and the length was perfect as it hit just above my knees. The material is thick and nice, but not so hot that the dress is uncomfortable during the summer. The pockets are pretty spacious and always a plus! Beautiful dress - would definitely wear again!

Immaculate cut. Perfect early summer dark-but-bright color combo. Fun ruffles. A little easier to muss and wrinkle than I would have guessed.

Great dress, work with both white pants and just a dress with some cute flats. Such a flatting shift dress that just fitted enough to where it doesn't look like you're wearing a bag. Loved the pockets as well, easily fit my cell phone which is always a plus!

This dress is beautifully detailed and very high quality. The material is thick and has a great weight to it. Perfect for a breezy Spring afternoon. I wore this to work and everyone loved it. As with other Marni I have tried, it is loose and not especially figure flattering, (I could have easily worn the 38) but it is incredibly fun to wear with its ginormous pockets and ruffle details. I am 5'4' and it hit right about my knee.

This dress pretty much sums up my style. Definitely could have worn the 40 but the 42 was the only size available. It's a shift so the bigger size was fine. It's just an all around perfect dress. You can wear it to work or play. Can't say enough good things. For reference Im 5'8, 130lbs, 34DDD.

i'm typically btwn 2 and 4, got the 2, plenty of room. hit an inch above the knee, wore reg bra. loved the massive pockets. not overly girly, great pattern. easy and fun, but still conservative work dress. highly recommend!

I rented this dress to add to my work wardrobe. it is a bit heavy but the material feels great on and it was perfect for office to night time dinner outfit. I received tons of compliments on the fit and design. The pockets have ruffles which make it fun and flirty.

This dress runs SMALL in hips. It is adorable but needs a sweater for work. Which is sad because the top is beautiful. Rent for a summer event instead.

I liked this dress. It was a bit short and the bottom hem was a bit frayed but that didn't stop me from wearing it. Definitely a nice consideration.

Great dress but the arm holes and the vneck are large. I ended up wearing it with a turtleneck underneath. I'm not sure I would rent it again but it was a beautiful dress.

I like this Marni dress a lot. Clearly high end fabric. Pretty flattering. I needed to wear a bandeau underneath as it's pretty low cut.

The fabric is luxurious and somewhat thick, creating a flattering silhouette. However, the sleeve cut makes arms look thicker than they are, especially the upper arm. Adaptable and versatile nonetheless a plus. Feminine without being cheesy.

I found that the dress is made for someone taller than I am (I'm 5'5") so I didn't end up wearing, but the quality was exquisite and I loved the material!

I rented this dress for work and maybe to wear to a date. It's extremely well made and well lined. It's quite long for someone 4,10" even wearing heels and very baggy and not flattering- lots of extra fabric. Also, the pockets create a weird weight at the bottom that drags the dress down and doesn't feel so comfortable. I would recommend if you are tall and can pull it off as a shorter dress- on me it came past the knee at an awkward length. Plenty of room at bust, etc.
