I loved this dress (and the pockets that it has). I received so many complements and the bottom flare just makes it so fun. Very comfortable to wear, particularly during a big dinner. Would rent again.

Large and oversized, I could almost fit my laptop in these pockets! The dress is very heavy — don’t be fooled by the sleeveless arms. It’s really only appropriate in the Fall and Winter — I couldn’t imagine wearing this in the winter. I dressed with OTK flat boots for a fun, dress down style. Wore to work in NYC.

I got this as part of my unlimited subscription and wore it to a work event. I don't think I've ever gotten so many compliments on an outfit. The side view doesn't make you look large either which I was surprised about. TTS.

The fit is straight and little tight around the chest area. It's also on the short side but I am short (5'4") so it worked great for me.

This dress would likely work for any body type. It is a true shift dress so there is no shape fitted to your body. The fabric is a very substantial weight. It holds its shape and the pockets are so fun! You don't even need a clutch for all of your stuff. The shoulders are kind of wide, but my frame is petite so it would not be that way of everyone.

The oversized pockets make an otherwise plain black dress interesting and cute! The fabric is also very thick so hides your figure well.

Great fit, slimming, great for work or after work events. Thick material, does not cling, looks great.

Next Time I would order size small..size I wanted wanted was out but made do and everyone loved

I love this dress. The fabric is a heavier weight which makes it a very sturdy dress. It is a very straight cut and not form fitting. Pockets! It can be dressed up or down.

the fabric was a nice, thick, weight but seemed slightly faded from wear/cleaning in places.

Absolutely easy to wear and super cute and different. I wore it to work so that I could be dressed up but not feel like it. It is tight, so I would recommend going up a size.

I really loved this dress even though it was a smidge tight around the hips for me. My husband even loved it!

LOVED this, but be aware that it does one large throughout the torso area, so it was a little boxy on my frame. Regardless, I wore it with strappy heels and got a ton of compliments of how fashionable and cute it was. The pockets are huge, but not bulky which was great. Material is very thick and heavy, but it didn't bother me. I will definitely rent this dress in a smaller size again!

heavy material, looks great dressed up but you can definitely wear it more casual, just change shoes and jewerly. Love love love this.

While maintaining its sophistication, this dress is fun and flirty! The length is wonderful- work appropriate but falling at a flattering location on the leg. This is not a body hugging dress yet provides an ultra feminine look. Received multiple comments that this dress looks straight off the runway (unwittingly appropriate!).

I love this dress so much, I just wish the neckline were different. I ended up pairing it with long sleeved shirts (it's snowy here). The flutter ruffle pockets? Love!

I really liked this dress, but it was a little different from what I was expecting. The material is pretty thick and stiff, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it didn't have as much movement or stretch as I would've liked. I'd consider it more of a winter/fall material. Overall it fit pretty true to size, but I thought it was a little big in the shoulders/armpits. I think if you're petite up top, you may want to size down. The ruffles and pocket detail are great!

As a girl who is bottom heavy, I wouldn't recommend this. the frills on the side just make you look bigger than you need to. definitely made for someone who is petite and narrow for a more expensive look.

I got this for a new job that I wasn't sure of the dress code. I wanted to wear something interesting and the black was great because it was super obvious. I wore a white button down under to make it more work appropriate. I think I would of gotten more compliments without the white shirt if I would of been able to just show it off. The ruffles around the pockets are fun and the pockets are huge! The material is thick but soft. For me everywhere. The side have some room but it helps with the overall look of the dress.

I first rented the navy floral version of this dress and instantly was obsessed with it. This version had the the exact same fit and look so no complaints there! However I am not sure if there fabrication of this dress is different than the other or if they used too much starch to dry clean it with--but it was a little bit crunchy. Throughout the day it kept getting these very harsh, fine wrinkles.

The details (ruffles!) and pockets (they are huge! considered not bringing a clutch) are amazing! It's made of a heavier type of material, RUNS LARGE, and wears a bit boxy - not fitted. I ordered a 42 (size 6) and it was too big but I ended up wearing anyway - too pretty to pass up! I would size down to a 40 or 38 when I re-rent. Love everything Marni!

Beautiful heavy material. Fits like a shift, not fitted in the waist. It runs very large, recommend sizing down 1-2 sizes. I did not wear this but it is a very well made dress.

Wasn't able to wear as it was way too big. It was a fun dress with the pockets and ruffles and would rent a smaller size for the next party.
