Wore this as a beach coverup and also to dinner on a summer trip to the Cape. It was really comfy and an easy throw on dress and perfectly transitioned to lots of events and could definitely be dressed up or down. Highly recommend

Sometimes vacation dresses just feel a little too young for me…like, a bit more skin than I want when I’m chasing around a toddler. And yes, of course, women (myself included) can wear whatever we want, whenever we want- but I also don’t want to be twinning with my preteen. This dress strikes the perfect balance of playful and polished. I almost skipped it because of the tie-around detail. It felt a little unrealistic to style it like a long-sleeve shirt tied around a dress, but one of the reviewers totally sold me. She looked adorable, and I realized this is exactly what I love about RTR: trying out pieces I wouldn’t normally pick, but that still have a bit of my style in them. I’m usually a Sandro girl, and even though Maje is their sister brand, I don’t always find their fits consistent. This one was true to size, though I could’ve sized down too (it has plenty of room). If your usual size isn’t available, the tie waist makes it easy to still flatter your shape.

I normally size up to make sure I have room for my chest. Especially on anything that is a button down. I probably could’ve gone with the 36 but I ordered a 38. For reference I’m 34 DDD And even with buttoned I had plenty of room. It’s super cute easy to throw on outfit Definitely different but really light and airy perfect for hot Florida summers, you can cinch your waist or leave it looser - It made me look bigger than I am esp since it was a size too big but it was so comfortable It didn’t really matter. Unfortunately, the back does nothing for you and looks wide b/c it’s made to look like a button-down shirt is tied around your waist, but again it’s so comfortable and light it didn’t really matter to me. Definitely worth a spot
