The material is heavier than I expected. But the open back is so fun. Can't wear a bra but it's so flattering for your middle section. I want buy this one. Probably not best for bigger busts.

So I was worried about the cutouts being too much, but you can actually tighten the straps on the back to make it not show as much - I am obsessed with this dress! I wore it with sneakers to a family cookout and wish I could have it for vacation again! I am 5'3" and 115 lbs and I thought it fit perfectly!

This dress was a dream! It's perfect for twirling. I was worried because I have a bigger chest so I wasn't sure how the no bra thing would work, but the front held me up very nicely. The back was dramatic and beautiful, and I got a million compliments. Would absolutely rent (or buy) again.

This was such a fun dress... might still try and buy it! As a natural 34DD and it being a cotton dress that stretches, I didn't feel comfortable going bra-less. Used a sticky, backless bra and felt supported. Shows off the rib cage and back without drawing attention to a "pooch" or love handles! I typically don't wear these types of dresses bc of concern for my midsection, but I'm glad I took a chance! This dress is so flattering!

I have more of an hour glass shape and this dress accentuated my waist with a relaxed fit over my hips and thighs. Shows off the upper back nicely without pinching anything because of the adjustable string tie. I felt confident and received lots of compliments. Wish I owned this dress!

I knocked off a star because you MUST use double sided tape for the sides to stay in place; else you risk flashing everyone when you lift your arms. I don't know if I wore it incorrectly, that's why it didn't stay in place, but I don't see how it sits in place without tape. Other than that, I love the ruffle sleeves and the eyelet material to make it fit for hot summer nights.

I loved this dress. I normally wear an M but rented an S as it was the only size available. I would say this runs a bit large and so fit me perfectly.

This dress is beautiful, people just complement me the whole nigh! I wore a size 8R. The top fit perfect, I'm a cup full C but the bottom part was quite big even when I tried to adjust it with the strings. Other than that I will be keeping this dress forever.

Loved the dress on the model, but it's a little weird in person. Can't say I love the sleeves, and it kind of sags and hangs lower than I would like in the back. A little too loose and formed an (even lower!) dip in the back once tied—maybe a smaller size would've helped. Overall it's a lot of dark heavy fabric and not particularly flattering. Difficult to get into with several tiny buttons and the tie in the back.

This dress was BEAUTIFUL!! I want it and may have to buy it. I had a baby 3 months ago and am breastfeeding so my boobs are constantly fluctuating in size the large fit perfectly for that and didn't suffocate me when I was full. The lower half of the dress was a little big for me but I have a small waist in comparison to hips/thighs so it was expected and the strap helped hold it up high enough that I didn't have to worry about my high waisted panties showing. HIGHLY recommended this dress.

Rented this and wore it in a day trip upstate. Another review notes the fabric is "heavy" but I have to disagree! It was lovely for a fairly cool summer day. I'm a big fan of the back detail, floaty sleeves and embroidery.

Loved the waistline, the back, the fit, the fabric! If there was one thing that made me feel a little weird was the shoulders. They give the impression of wearing shoulder pads, and I found that a bit off putting. I probably would not buy this dress for that reason but it was fun to wear a few times and return!

I have a larger chest and a tiny waist which made me nervous thinking Id look top heavy in this dress. The exact opposite - Its BEYOND flattering, chic, great quality, great length for 5'4. This dress is quite literally everything you can imagine. Im planning on dressing it down with a summer hat and sandals for the afternoon / some heels for an outdoor dinner.

Fit was not for me and very unocmfortable to try on/take off. The fabric had very little give to it, and the top was much smaller than I expected, making it impossible for me to wear comfortably. Rated two stars because I never left the house in it, and would have rather a different piece for the occasion I intended it for!

This is a nice dress but the fabric is very heavy, there's a lot of elaborate things to do to get in, and it's way more formal looking than it appears. It gave me Frida Kahlo vibes, and I LOVE Frida but it just wasn't right for the outdoor party.
