Rented for a Cocktail Gala & this dress was a hit! The fit is true to size and it flows nicely. The pockets are large which makes it easy to not have a purse.

I wore this for a gala dinner, it was so comfortable and elegant! The fabric and cut is just beautiful, really top quality. Although for my height the dress was knee length in the front. The cut would be flattering for any body shape.

I think a smaller size might have worked if it wasn't so tight on my chest. But I was happy to go up a size with RTR help to get it in time. The pockets were so nice and I was very happy with how comfortable I felt all night.

Listen, my stylist Nancy came ALL THE WAY THROUGH saving my life AGAIN with this dress. (Yes, she's done this before.) When I walked in, I told her: I've got to walk out with a dress with these parameters...x, y, z. Lord, I vetoed dresses without trying them on, and then THIS DRESS. I'm vertically-challenged, but surprisingly, these high-low dresses seem to work on me. Paired with heels, yes tiny girls, you can rock this dress. Now, can we just talk about that thing called pockets? Give. Me. Pockets. Any. Day., and I'm happy, especially if it doesn't make me look too hippy. I'm not a curvy girl, so my curvy girl queens, you may feel the skirt, which has a bit of a poof, may be too much. Before you veto, try it. The colour alone may change your mind about this because, let me tell you, the dress in a sea of black dresses, is not a stark red, but hues of red. SHOW STOPPER. Get ready for compliments. Go light on the jewellry. The dress really doesn't need a 5 pound item around your neck. Simple. Sparkly. *thumbs up* Rock your best stilettos and you betta WERK. *finga snaps*

I LOVED this dress. It was comfortable and has pockets, what more do you need? I am an 8 and it waist was a little tight if I had to give any feedback. I also would wear a strapless bra since you could see my bra straps a little. I'm so happy I went for something then my usual black. It added a lot of color to the party. I will rent this again when I need to.

I received this dress as a replacement after my initial selection didn’t fit (too long). The colors were stunning and perfect for the sunset wedding we were attending. I loved the high low hemline and how the dress flared out from the waist to accentuate my figure. I’m currently in a changing body and wasn’t sure if the size would work. It was tight across the chest which made it sit a little weird but nothing uncomfortable and nothing you can see in the pictures I took. That’s the only reason I marked it as run small. I was just measured and definitely wear a 38D but this designer may just cater to a smaller figure. The fabric is beautiful and very high quality. The pockets are perfect. Would recommend this dress and would rent again.

Was a little big on me. The neck gapped and there was room in the waste. Good news was that it still looked good. It was comfortable and good for dancing.

I got so many compliments on this dress and felt like a rock star in it. Literally, people were pulling me aside and telling me it was their favorite dress of the night. :-) It fit perfectly and was very comfortable. Plus... pockets! The fabric is lovely and shimmery - a nice mix of red and pink. Really it's a gorgeous gown that I loved wearing.

I loved that this is so unique and had been worn by our amazing First Lady, Michelle Obama. A little tight in the armpits, but worth it for the beautiful colors. Material feels and looks like Chang tung silk

Wore this to host a mid-century themed party. Runs small in the waist, but it has pockets! Fabric held up nicely all night.

This was fabulous for a destination wedding in Buenos Aires, AR where the party goes all night long and I was very comfortable...made extra special by the deep and useful pockets!! I ordered in both 14 and 16 - I typically wear a 12 - and the 14 was way too small. The 16 fit well, although I needed some assistance with the zipper (this may have been due to it being used often vs the fit though). The very top boatneck was a little bit big for me but I added a chunky necklace with helped keep the neck in place. If I owned the dress I would have that altered but the shoulders are things tend to need alteration for me anyway. you can wear your own undergarments and I never had to worry about any wardrobe malfunctions. The pockets were big and deep and very cute! I take lots of photos and was able to carry around my flash power bank without it getting noticed. These pockets are not just for the look. The dress is well made and while the fabric is on the heavier side I was never hot even in the height of summer in Argentina. The variety of colors in the print make it easy to match to. It has more reds than I thought but it was lovely. I wore my nude sandals so as. It to compete and I carried a plum Cardi from my closet just in case the AC got too much for me. I probably had 3-4 sweaters they matched. The hi-lo hem was every sweet and made the whole look very Audrey Hepburn. Highly recommend this dress - just be careful of the small sizing!

Was snug in the breast area but didn't look weird. Pockets are amazing no need for a purse. Received several complements all evening. Seriously thinking about buying this one!

The fabric, design, the fit were all excellent! The high-low hemline, design and vibrant color made this dress a showstopper! The cut is flattering, as it accentuates your waistline, but is forgiving of curvy hips and/or thighs. I received compliments the entire evening!

the material is luxurious, it fits great, I wore 2 sizes up of what I usually wear though.

The fit was wonderful. I received so many compliments. The colors included hot pink, red & burgundy & the fabric was nice. Thick & elegant, but not hot. Didn't wrinkle. The dress had pockets! I was even able to wear a bra underneath. Overall an awesome dress & great RTR experience. No cons for this dress.

This dress fits well and is extremely flattering. I am thin with a belly, but it covered it up well. I loved wearing this dress. The pockets held my phone, lipstick, etc. I didn't even carry a purse. The only negative is it's a bit loose around the neck but if you had a larger chest it may fill that out.

This dress was my third choice so I was not expecting to like it, but it was perfect. It is a comfortable fit, true to size, beautiful fabric and color, pockets are a plus. It is a lot of fabric, but it is styled in a way that is still very flattering. I am short, so the dress was longer on me than in the photo but still worked well with heels despite not being a petite size. Highly recommend.

Amazing fit

I normally wear a 10, so I rented a 10 and 12. Neither one zipped past my hips. I went to the Chicago store and luckily they had a 14 available to overnight to me. The 14 fit great, but it was still a bit tight around my chest. I didnt wear a bra and didnt need to because the material was thick. The dress is very heavy and sturdy. Got lots of compliments. Be mindful of size if you have an inverted triangle shape.

I wore this to a Christmas party that was semi-formal. I felt like a candycane in this dress. It was certainly fitted on my on the top, but I could wear a regular bra, which was nice. The hi-low, flared skirt was very eye-catching. It worked out great for a holiday party, but is a pretty fancy dress, so I would not have any other reason to wear it absent another semi-formal event.

Wore this to our holiday tradition of seeing the nutcracker. Wanted something fun and festive and this fit the bill. Its almost a pink/red/silver mix. The high-low makes it sassy. I paired with a hot pink ribbon heel. I had so many strangers coming up to me saying they loved the dress!

The dress was heavier than I expected but very comfortable. I loved the pockets and how it was shorter in the front.

The fit was great - very much true to size. It is a little tight through the waist so keep that in mind when renting. I went with silver accessories due to the silver threading through the dress. This was my only issue with the rental: Finding silver shoes that were appropriate for a formal event. I wore this to an outdoor wedding in Northern Michigan. Though the dress is heavy - it is not too heavy for a warm summer day. Truly a perfect dress (WITH POCKETS!).

I'm barely 5'1" and since I wear a 10, the dresses tend to come longer especially high-low dresses like this one. This made me nervous but it ended up fitting perfectly! Length and all! The only area it was a tad too tight was right around my breast area but with the right bra it worked out. I received compliments all night and it was so comfortable. I wish I could've kept this dress! P.S. it has pockets!

Dress kind of stuck on my breasts and needed to be pulled down slightly (example in my photo) I got tons of compliments on the dress and discovered many of my coworkers were wearing rent the runway too!

Pockets - always a winner. High low style and the high in the front is a great length if you are short like me (usually the high is still too low). The stitching is beautiful - creates a lot of texture. Big full skirt. Easy to dance. Didn't need a bra. Only negative is with a smaller chest, the boat neck top gaps slightly in the back, which I didn't really care about.

I wore this dress to my kids' preschool gala and fundraiser that was Mad Men-themed. I had a baby a few months ago and wanted something that was a little forgiving of a baby pooch. I ordered 2 sizes larger than my pre-baby size because I'm bigger overall still and I heard the dress ran small. That turned out to be right, although there was extra room in the chest (which surprised me since I'm breastfeeding). I received SO MANY compliments on the dress. It looked beautiful in person and is a high-quality material. The material has little to no "give" so size up if you think you may need it. I was extremely happy with this dress and felt great in it all night. The high-lo hem was stylish and the pockets made it even more comfortable. I wore it all night with no issues. It is not my normal silhouette but I'm super glad I went outside of my standard with this dress.

The photograph doesn't do this dress justice - it is gorgeous. I got compliment after compliment in it. I ordered both the 12 and the 10 - the 10 was tight in the waist, but I had extra fabric in the shoulders. I guess I'm more apple shaped than I thought! But this gave me a flattering waist, and was comfortable to dance in. I wore it to a NYC bar mitzvah/cocktail attire dress code.

I tried on this dress in the store at the suggestion of the stylist Angela at Neiman Marcus SF. I would never have picked it out, but the colors were just gorgeous and the quality of the fabric, so high! The inner lining was smooth and very comfortable. And the best part? The dress has pockets! So I didn't have to carry anything!

This dress just fit a half-inch too tight at the waist and I couldn't get the zipper to close at my waistline, even with some serious Spanx on. Upon inspection I could see where others women had had the same problem and the zipper seam was about to bust. I decided not to risk it even though I was TOTALLY IN LOVE WITH THIS DRESS and wore another option. The fabric's weight is just heavy enough, my legs looked amazing in it and the dropped hemline in back was perfect. I'll totally rent this in another size for another time.
