I went up a size based on reviews which was a good choice because even the 27's were fitted.

This will definitely work for me, but I read reviews to size up and I’m glad I did. I’m usually a 27 and got a 28, all the buttons close but still pretty snug. Love the short length though and that it covers enough of my booty.

I sized up as suggested by other reviews. I wear a 29 in other Levi’s styles, and got a 30 in these. While they fit, they are quite tight and ride up on my thighs, giving a creased, diaper-like appearance. They look great from the back, but definitely give you a major wedgie. Idk if I would even want to try the next size up based on the fit on me.

And that's saying a lot because I am often wearing short tennis skirts on and off the court. I was uncomfortable with how these shorts fit especially going up stairs and sitting down. Looked cute as long as I was standing.

Rented twice and sized up the second time, still quite short so be prepared for that!

High rise fit but not too short. They cover my butt and were so comfy.

High-waisted. The shorts are pretty short but not excessively so. I did as other reviewers did and sized up by 2 sizes and this worked great.

Fit normally. only annoying thing was that the tags are long and frequently come out over the top of the shorts, which I didn't always notice after putting them on.

Absolutely loved these! They do run small, I recommend going 1 up or 2 for a looser fit.

If you like lose fitting shorts, size up. I'm 5'5, 130 lbs. Wider hits/legs. The 29 fit comfortably. Good quality. Great fit

These run a bit small in my opinon, but they're very flattering and comfortable.

These shorts are more frilled (not sure if thats the right word) at the bottom than in the picture (likely from wear) but they are very cute, have a flattering fit and are comfortable!

I sized up one like other reviews mentioned but needed to go up two sizes. The shorts are very cute. A little shorter than I normally wear but cut in a way that nothing hangs out. I might have purchased but the size I got was still quite snug and uncomfortable. For reference, I'm 5'3", 135ish and pear shaped. I wear a 27 comfortably in almost every brand. Needed a 29 in these.

I don't love spending a gazillion dollars on cutoffs - so this was a really nice option for vacation. It was fun to have black in addition to my classic blue ones.

I will be buying these shorts. There's no stretch them but after a few wears they become more comfortable. I love the button fly closure. Overall these are a solid pair of shorts. I only wish the inseam was a smidge longer.

These are cute, but the lighter/gray wash definitely makes them more casual

I have a thick waist and thighs and it pinches in those areas. Wore my normal size from Levi's. They're quite small on my frame and maybe come across as sexier than I'd hope for everyday wear
